Lovely 4 night stay. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Special shout outs to Blanca and Maricela - their hospitality and attention to detail made our meals extra special. Always greeted us with smiles and were happy to see us. I was sad to say goodbye to them! I’ve seen poor reviews of the food on this platform - but honestly for how much food they are putting out at all hours of the day, for people from around the globe, I think they do a great job. If you go to an all-inclusive resort to experience 5-star dining at every meal then you’re missing the point. I will say, if you’re spending the day at the pool the tacos at Pepe’s are amazing! A must - and you can stay in your swimsuit. It’s the outdoor grill by the East pool. The facility is very clean, they are always cleaning! So much so that I often felt bad about walking on their clean floors. For the pools - the west pool is quieter and good for families with young children or those who want a calmer vibe. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Had $400 dollars stolen from my purse in my room at this resort. When reported to staff, they didn’t seem surprised. The manager said unfortunately theft happens pretty frequently and they are rarely ever able to find out who stole the money. I left my purse in my room while at the pool and when we got back to our room the money was gone. I’ve seen other reviews that money is stolen out of safes often as well. Seems like an inside job to me.

Nacho and Daniel, waiters at the bar by the stage were wonderful! Nice, fun, funny, attentive, knowledgeable and great guys! We all loved sitting there! Great drinks! Great atmosphere!

This was our 3rd stay at the Palace and our last. In 2023 both my husband and myself ended up with food poisoning. Friends we made there, same. We spent our last 2 days in our room very sick. This last visit the rooms all smelled very strongly of mold. In fact I asked for a different room hoping the smell would be better. It was bad enough to ruin our luggage and everything in it and we got sick again. The first day I was fine but ultimately spent the next 4 days in a moldy room extremely ill from something we ate. I saw many roaches throughout the hotel and I would not recommend eating here. The pools were slimy. This resort is far from a 5 star, please don't waste your money. We won't go back.

Food isn’t great. A few rude employees (one yelled at me for putting a plastic cup in the plastic recycling! Apparently they want to re wash them even if cracked).but most were fantastic!
