"The view is stunning, but the location is difficult to get to (it is not clear on the maps). I would not bring a heavy suitcase because you will encounter stairs and pathways (it is not directly accessible by car so you will have to carry your belongings. It was very clean and the rooms were large. The A/C worked and it was sound insulated. The food was delicious. The service was great, but they didn't know I spoke mandarin and one of the boys working was complaining about our luggage right in front of us. A children's TV show was being played in the lobby so loudly it could be heard from inside the room on the fourth floor. If you are an early sleeper, do not stay here because you can hear music from the town until about 10pm. I would not spend as much time as I did here again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valley View! The staff is very warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. Ping’an Village is about a 30-minute walk from Valley View, a walk that allows you to walk down steps amongst rice terraces. We enjoyed each meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner at Valley View. And the dogs are sweet and wonderful, too!"

"Pros: The room was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful views of the terraced fields right from our balcony. The owner was incredibly hospitable and even helped us with our luggage. Cons: However, there were a few issues. The balcony door lacked a lock, which made us feel quite uneasy and unable to sleep soundly. Hand soap was not provided, and some power outlets were faulty, causing plugs to fit loosely. Additionally, the frosted glass wall separating the bathroom/shower was quite transparent, making it easy to see through – definitely not ideal for families."

"Our stay here was really great. The room was spacious, clean, and bright with a view of the rice terraces right in front. The large balcony was an added plus. The location is walking distance to multiple viewpoints in the rice fields. The owners are incredibly friendly and helped us book a shuttle bus from Guilin to Dazhai, picked us up from the bus stop, and dropped us off there again at the end of the trip. Breakfast was included and very good, Chinese style noodle soup, eggs, corn, and steamed buns. You can wash your laundry at the hotel too which was convenient. Only thing was the pool seemed a bit dirty, so we ended up not using it. I would definitely stay there again."

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better everything was within walking distance, which made exploring rice fields so easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself was spotless and very comfortable, but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help us with tips and recommendations. They made us feel truly welcome from start to finish."

"Highly recommended! The owner of the B&B is so nice. We took the bus to the Dazhai parking lot, and he picked us up in his pickup truck. So cool! 😁 Then we went to the cable car in the afternoon, and the owner even gave us a ride. On our last day, we went to the No. 2 viewing platform to play, but we were a bit rushed back, so the owner told us to go directly to the Dazhai parking lot. He helped us deliver our luggage to the parking lot and met us there. I was so touched and grateful! !!! The B&B environment is also great, exactly like the pictures. The room not only has a refrigerator, but also a washing machine, the toilet is smart, and the curtains are automatic. It completely exceeded our expectations. Who knows the feeling of waking up in the morning and opening the curtains to see the terraced fields outside? !!! I really recommend staying at this B&B when you visit Longji! !!!"

"It is unexpected to live in such a high-end and elegant room in a rural scenic spot! The hotel room is exactly the same as the one seen on the Internet. The decoration is elegant. The room is much larger than the average hotel room. The bedding is new. The bed is soft and comfortable. The smart toilet, the large screen projector, the bathroom is three separated with a bathtub. From the window of the room, you can see the best angle of the terrace panoramic view. The photos on the balcony are very colorful. We had dinner at our own homestay. The taste of the dishes was very good. The bamboo chicken and bamboo rice were very delicious. The sweet rice wine was especially delicious! The boss service is particularly enthusiastic, go to the parking lot to pick up and drop off our luggage, and introduce us to how to get to the attractions. Because we needed to return the room for our own reasons, the boss gave it back without any complaints. We felt guilty, but the boss said it didn't matter. We also gave us a few more breakfasts for free. The 8 sisters in the same group praised this homestay very well. Compared with the surrounding S expensive and expensive homestays, this price is too high! I will come here next time I have a chance."

"Stay here. If you have travelled in China at this price point, you will know that hotels can be sorted largely into two categories: “I can’t believe that this awful place is this expensive,” and “I can’t believe that this nice of a hotel is this cheap.” This hotel fits squarely in the latter: it is exceedingly clean; the staff are very friendly; the food is good (you can have lunch or dinner here in addition to the complementary breakfast); and it is well located relative to the central village and various lookout points (it also has a nice view itself, either from its balconies, or eastwards along a small stone path through the terraces). If you are looking for a great place to stay while relaxing in Longji, look no further!"

"The room was simple but clean and spacious, with a stunning view. We hadn't realized it was a summer resort before booking. The temperature was perfect, especially after nightfall, when it cooled down. However, supplies are scarce in the mountains, especially since the B&B is located on a mountaintop. While the view is beautiful, there are few shops. The service was exceptional, like a butler. The owner came to help with luggage and even delivered meals to the room. The food was delicious. The restaurant is perfect for families (though I was with my friends, haha). The lounge chairs in the lobby offer a great view and are perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only downside is that the mountains are naturally beautiful, but there are a lot of mosquitoes, so bring some floral water. Also, the hike up to the mountain is quite long, so I recommend staying a few days as a vacation."

"The guesthouse is ideally located, just a stone's throw from the Jinfoding Observation Deck. It's newly decorated and spotlessly clean. The view from the scenic rooms is absolutely breathtaking, and at night, you can even see the Milky Way! Gazing at the sky full of stars directly overhead was incredibly therapeutic and a delightful surprise. The owner provides fantastic service, offering complimentary round-trip transfers to Jinfoding, which saves you the cable car fee. During the off-season, the owner even upgraded our room for free, making the experience truly exceptional. The restaurant serves incredibly delicious dishes made from ingredients grown and raised by the owner themselves – their own vegetables, chickens, and ducks. Highly recommended!"
