The hotel is very very very clean and the staff have a service mind even they cannot talk to English but they try to communicate with us with their best. We recommend you guys to stay at here 😊

10/10 would recommend staying here. The staff are so kind and helpful. We arrived very late at night because our flight was delayed but they still were able to arrange us a driver (that we ended up using our whole trip in Guilin!) and they stayed up to wait for us. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and the views from the room are beautiful. The owner was very kind and always answered the phone and drove us to the cable car and waited for us. I would totally stay here again and wish I could’ve stayed longer.

We spent three weeks travelling around China in early April and this was probably my favourite destination. The hotel staff were genuinely SO friendly and helpful, as were all of the locals in the area. We had the hotel driver pick us up from the airport for ¥300 which was a 2.5 hour drive - 谢谢司机🙏🏼 When we got there, we met the receptionist who turned out to be one of the kindest people we met the whole trip! He was not only the receptionist but also helped out in the kitchen, and was willing to drive guests to / from places around the village. He lives on-site and has a little translation device if you don’t speak Mandarin 😊 We had two dinners in the hotel which were both amazing, we received complimentary tea and rice wine!! The view from the balcony was incredible. The village has three main viewpoints and the hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from one of them so we heard so many tourists walk by talking about how they wish they would have booked to stay in this hotel! Overall, I would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back in the future but probably in September time as this is when the rice is in full harvest!

This was a local hotel that was situated on a peak facing Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak), so note it’s not on Jinfoding itself but still in the same area of Jinkeng Dazhai. I hired a driver via the hotel to fetch me from Guilin Airport to the hotel. Journey took about 3 hours using local roads, if you can somehow negotiate with your driver to take the expressway from the airport, it will be about an hour shorter and less scenic but also less nauseating. Access to hotel is pretty limited unless you hire a driver or you drive. If you take the bus from Guilin downtown/Airport, it will only alight you at the Dazhai parking lot, and you still need to make transport arrangements to get to the hotel within the scenic area (anywhere between 20-40min drive) but the boss is helpful and very contactable (phone call or wechat). I wouldn’t recommend walking to the hotel cos it is situated at the top of a pretty steep hill and it is a one-car lane that goes both ways with many blind spots. At the hotel, you could choose to walk and hike the terraces to other viewpoints in Jinkeng, but note that the routes will be very long and exhausting. If you plan to visit other villages like Ping An Zhai, it’s about an hour’s drive away on mountain roads, and it’s best if you hire a driver as well. Overall, room was very clean and spacious and was true to trip.com description and pictures. Very comfortable, clean and scenic stay! Shower and toilet are separate and clean. There’s a bathtub situated right behind the bed, they provided disposable bathtub liner if you want to use it. Hotel is situated near one of the viewpoints in Jinkeng, but it was very misty on the day I hiked. From what I could make out through the mist, the views seem pretty epic. View from the room is great and the boss provided a welcome sweet rice wine drink with lunch which was great! The boss gave me some luohanguo as a souvenir when I checked out! Did I also mention, breakfast provided included a jar of fresh warm soy milk and a delicious bowl of rice noodles made to order! Will stay again in future!

This hotel was in the perfect location with a perfect balcony view of the rice terraces. I loved the serenity of the surroundings. There are several viewing platforms walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast was spectacular. Owners and staff were all very friendly.

Good clean rooms and comfortable beds as per picture. Amazing views from our room. Right next to the trails leading to the Daguzhai viewing terraces! The projector in the room allowed us to have a family movie night. Good food at the hotel restaurant and lovely breakfast provided. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautifully located hotel with a warm welcome 🤗 Room was big and had an amazing balcony! Unfortunately the pool had no water in it which was a pity but otherwise i really liked it here.

Probably one of the best, if not the best, hotel we slept in in China. The rooms are big, well equipped and most of all with a breathtaking view over the rice terraces and a nice balcony to enjoy it. Breakfast and service was great also, with pickup and drop off from/to Dazhai parking lot. Should we come back in this area, we'll definitely come in this hotel again!

Overall I’m very satisfied with the hotel. I think the best thing is the location of this hotel, it’s very close to all the attractions in the area, and it’s directly accessable by car. The view from the hotel is nice, and this hotel is the closet hotel to the viewing point for sunrise, that have car access. Secondly the hotel has lift, and the rooms are new and neatly decorated. The hotel owner is friendly and helpful. He drove us down to ride the cable car on the other side of the mountain and took us back for free. He also helped us to find other customers who’s going back to Guilin to carpool. The food is alright, nothing gourmat but the ingridiants are fresh. I liked the bamboo chicken. The hotel provides washing machine in your room and plenty cloth racks as well as hanging racks indoor and out side on the balcony. The only thing i would hope they improve is that they should add towel rack outside the shower and next to the sink. I shared two pics of the hotel. And two pics that I took at the sunrise viewing point near the hotel.

The hotel stay was absolutely fabulous! We stayed two nights and asked the hotel to help us find the bus to Longji, and they picked us up at the drop off point after adding them on WeChat. The view from the rooms is one of the best view to wake up to. The hotel is far up the mountain which makes for a fantastic walk down the mountain to scenic points, they will even save you the up hill walk and pick you up at the bottom. There are a couple of lovely places around for dinner and drinks.

If you are looking for a pool with amazing view then this hotel is the best !! Our experience was : hotel service is great , the owner of the hotel would love to offer you help whatever you needs, Our room view was amazing , this hotel has the most beautiful view in the area , everything was perfect about this hotel , just the food if you don’t like Chinese food you would find it a problem here)
