The room was OK, with a private bathroom. The owner's parents were very kind and made us feel very comfortable. The bamboo rice made by the owner's father was very fragrant, especially with the aroma of bamboo, which might be related to the freshly cut bamboo.

Really difficult to find (even with the pictures other users provided). I tried contacting the hostel so they could help me get to the place but it took a long time for them to respond. When I got there the place was completely deserted. I texted them to ask about check-in and they said that they weren't there and would come back later and that I should just pick a room (when they finally found my booking). I would have at least liked a heads-up via email with self check-in instructions, etc. The overall vibe was weird so I left again without spending the night there.

Very clean and functional room; we slept well despite the noise of the running water.
Very nice family; it's a shame we saw them. They're not there from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The common room was very dark, but the bad weather didn't help.

We really enjoyed it! The host family is very, very nice and looked after us well! Communication is a bit difficult, but it works well with translator apps and if that doesn't work, the helpful daughter is called, who speaks very good English. A delicious dinner and breakfast were cooked for us, both quite cheap and really very good! The location is a bit difficult to find, but it is very central in the village and we simply asked locals who showed us the way. Our best stay experience so far and we recommend it wholeheartedly!!!!
