Less than 5 minutes to walk to London Bridge station and 3 minutes to Borough Market. It's not fancy but clean and cozy.

Great location. Helpful staff. So close to Borough Market. Tube station nearby. Loads of places to eat. Practically by the side of the Thames. Lovely breakfast room. Trip advisor are very annoying in demanding a minimum if 200 characters.

Stayed as a family for 5 nights. Location great and 5 minute walk to London Bridge station. Market on doorstep as is south bank walk. Staff were all extremely polite and helpful. Room was decent size for a family and as a premier inn could do with being updated but you get what you pay for and in London it was excellent value. Good choice of breakfast food and a small dining area but never felt over crowded. The pub next door empties bottles each day at 0700 which WILL wake you up! No issue with pedestrian or traffic noise though.

The staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful we come across. Really excellent. The hotel location is brilliant with a huge range of attractions and places to eat and drink on your doorstep.

Nice location near London Bridge and the river. Big pub right next door. Beds don't seem to be as big as they used to be, but still clean and comfy. The free WiFi is very slow, but you can upgrade for a small fee. Friendly staff, clean rooms with real baths. With Premier Inn, you generally know what you're going to get. This hotel doesn't disappoint. Only downside is that the prices have gone up enormously after the past 2-3 years, tho that's the same for other brands.

We enjoyed 4 nights at Premier Inn Southwark (Bankside) in June and overall found it great value for money. As we were on a budget, we found the hotel the most affordable on Tripadvisor with the best reviews, in a spectacular location next to Borough Market and within easy walking distance to many attractions. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was sufficient. A couple of suggestions/feedback. It could be worth investing in better food warmers, especially the pancakes as they were cold and hard. My only criticism would be that staff could have been a bit more engaging. Anytime I passed someone in the hallway or at reception I usually got no response or acknowledgement. Even at breakfast sometimes staff were just looking at their phone and the only words said were "room number and any allergies" every day without one extra word, with the exception of the gentleman (possibly of Polish descent) at breakfast. It costs nothing to be a bit more engaging or say good morning, good afternoon, or have a lovely day when we head out in the morning. Even when checking out and handing back our room cards, I think the best I got was thanks, when a "thank you for staying at Premier Inn, we hope you enjoyed your stay with us" would have been a nice ending to our holiday, rather than us walking off thinking they didn't even care if we were there or not. Yes, I would certainly stay with you again.

Appalling value for money. My room certainly didn't look like the picture. It was dark, tiny windows, aircon not effective, the bathroom was absolutely tiny, the shower was tiny, the mirrors were in the wrong place, I couldn't even get ready properly for a blacktie event, why put a mirror where there is no light, the bathroom mirror was in behind the toilet and you couldn't even stand in front of it as there wasn't enough room. I would not stay here again. You are paying for the location only. Nearly £300 for a very substandard experience, sorry, not impressed. Breakfast, thankfully, was good and the bed was comfortable.

We have stayed here too many times to count. Fabulous team, especially the wonderful warm welcome from Giselda, fantastic location, too. We had a great view of The Shard from our room! We would recommend Borough market, the Anchor beer garden next door, the old operating theatres at St Thomas, and the wonderful walks along the Thames, all within a few minutes walk of this great hotel. Thank you for looking after us, see you soon!

Have stayed at this Premier Inn on many occasions, usually on business but for leisure on this occasion. I would always consider staying here because of the staff and location, both of which are great. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the beds. The stay rate seemed much more reasonable than I remembered from my business visits.

Really helpful the day before arrival enquiring about parking and this continued all through our visit . Fantastic friendly staff, immaculate room and perfect location! Perfect for visiting Borough Market and Bankside. Amazing restaurants literally opposite! We really couldn't have asked for more.

Great location but... there is a pub next door that starts emptying their 5000 glass bottles into recycling containers and hauling kegs over cobblestones from 6 am! The hotel itself looks newly renovated and the room was great but, the windows are quite old and not soundproof in any way. They really should have put in better ones as the noise is constant and loud. I know that they don't control what happens at the pub next door but, there should be some sympathy for the many hotel guests trying to sleep with in what sounds like a recycling centre operating at full tilt aat 6 am. Other than the noise I think it was a really nice location in a very historic area of London and would recommend it. You can pop over to Borough Market in 2 minutes, stroll along the Thames, visit the Globe, Tower of London and all manner of other places on foot in no time at all. I have stayed at a few Premiere Inns and have not had any complaints so far!

Great location, small and family orientated hotel. Behind Borough market we woke up early so we could get all the fresh foods. No mini market next door closest is 10 minutes away. Room was lovely and clean, housekeeping is on request so when requested they always cleaned the room nicely.

English no first language. Hotel good place. Breakfast good, fresh. Staff happy people. Help a lot. Room clean, big. Give pillow extra to me for back problem. Thank you very much. Too much people in road, market too much food. Try to come again next time!

Excellent location, staff at breakfast very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 2 nights and were woken up at 5am on both days with the horrendous sound of bottles being emptied into a wagon and the dropping of beer barrel's onto the pavement which we did not welcome. The hotel were quick to e mail about possible noise from nearby building work, but failed to inform guests of the awful noise at 5am every morning! We informed the staff at the hotel regarding our complaint, who really weren’t that bothered. I have also e mailed the head office who stated the noise is out of their control!! When you pay £350 for a 2 night stay, I really don’t expect to go away and to be disturbed at that time in the morning. Great location, but very noisy, avoid unless you like an early start!
