Strand Palace Reviews

A strong choice if staying at Covent Garden. It is walking distance to many eateries (though many overpriced, use Google Map reviews to find the reasonably priced options), many West End theatres, and also to the Westminster area (Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Parliament). I did not have breakfast, nor did I dine at their restaurants or bars so I cannot comment. I did not use their facilities as well, as I was out and about the entire day, so again I cannot comment. Service staff were friendly, from the porters handling left luggage, to the receptionist checking us in. Only one small note - the bedsheets had some black stains which did not come off when I rubbed it. Don't know what they were, but it didn't really affect my enjoyment of the room. The shower area in the bathroom of the single room is quite small, and larger sized guests may wish to take note.

Staying in single room and it is fantastic! Have all the necessary amenities, clean and location is centered and convenient. Highly recommended:)

Check in was easy and accessible, room was small and no fridge, cozy bed and a place to stay if you’re not worried about luxuries.

The hotel has the perfect location and the service is reasonable for such a busy hotel. The structure of the building is rather strange. There is a screen outside the main lifts instructing you how to get to your room (and they even tell you to take a photo of the screen). There is always a queue outside the lifts and at breakfast time the queue is loooooooong. I’m impressed by how professional the staff was even though they were clearly under loads of pressure.

About seven minutes walk to underground, overall clean and convenient to London Eye, and all the tourists spots

The location was good. The room was not spacious. I left my adapter in the room but never get it back. The breakfast was good too.

Strand Palace London - December Stay Review I had a wonderful stay at Strand Palace in December. The single room was comfortable, offering a cozy space to relax after a day out in the city. The bathroom and shower were excellent, with Ritual brand shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, and lotion adding a luxurious touch. The room came well-equipped with thoughtful amenities like a cupboard, umbrella, locker, and was spotlessly clean. I appreciated the cookies, quality tea packets, and coffee provided, which made for a lovely treat during my stay. The location is fantastic, just a 7-minute walk to the nearest underground station, with easy access to buses, making it incredibly convenient to explore London. Strand Palace strikes a great balance between comfort, quality service, and prime location—highly recommended!

Location is perfect to Theatre Royal Drury Lane. A warm welcome from reception when checking in. Water re fill stations. Our room was spacious. Highly recommend Would return

fabulous location perfect for walking to most of the main sights to see. excellent for solo traveller too

Stayed as a solo female traveller for 3 nights and never felt unsafe once. Room was really small and next to other single bedders so if you’re a light sleeper - bring ear plugs! Room comes with filtered water (in a cute red bottle) which you can refill in the hotel’s water station.

Very good location. Close to Covent garden and Charing Cross stations. Not too small for London standard. Very good idea to gift a reusable bottle to guests with refilling stations on every floor.
