Gili Teak Beach Front Resort

Beautiful location at sunset side of the island, direct beach access with plenty of possibilities to relax. Very good breakfast and dinner (possible directly at the beach). Rooms are spacious and had the most stunning (halfway) outdoor bathroom in our 1 month travel time! Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the island!

Our stay was going to be one night, however upon arrival and spending our first day at this resort we booked for another two nights. The service was impeccable, Harry met us on our first day and was nothing but incredible! The bar and restaurant staff were an absolute delight. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and the ponds in the outdoor bathroom were nothing short of beautiful. A clean and calming environment. However as the rooms are somewhat exposed, you will have geckos and such wandering in. Sadly, on our third night, we returned back to our room at approximately 10pm to find the entire bed infested with bugs. I received numerous bites on my arms and back. There was also staining on the doona cover, not from us. The staff tried tirelessly to assist, however the manager was uncontactable and there were no other rooms available for us and we were forced to leave. The next day we had no contact from the resort and they charged our card for the tab and we were not refunded the money for the room. A very sad way to end a great stay. Everything is close by in Gili T but there are shops and more in walking distance. The resort even offers free bikes with your room.

We stayed here for four nights over Christmas. Location: it is very far from the pier if you have luggage, then suck it up and pay for a horse carriage. It is far away from the main ***** of bars and restaurants, which made it nice and quiet but not too quiet as it did have a selection of bars around it. The hotel provide you with bicycles to use which was great, they were basic but functional, although I do think they need to have lights, especially as most of the island doesn't have any street lights, so cycling home can be tricky in the dark. Room: I loved the open bathroom with fish! The bed was comfortable, and it was a good-sized room, but it was very dark. You either had the curtains open, and everyone who walked past could see in, or you had them closed, and it was very dark. The seats on the decking area were great for chilling with a beer or some food from the bar. Restaurant: The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed having it on the beach on sunny days. We also sampled a lot of their main menu, and all of the food was super tasty. The big downside was that the flies were everywhere, which was a nightmare when eating. We noticed other restaurants on the island provided customers with bug spray and had other bug repellant measures, which was very welcome. The pool is a decent size but way too chlorinated. Do your best to keep your mouth shut and don't dunk your head under, as I imagine it would cause a lot of stinging with that chlorine. Overall a great stay, friendly staff with food views, but when we stayed there was a ton of construction work going on next door and it was very noisey and started early in the mornings.

Excellent food, cozy ambiance, and attentive service! The menu offers a great variety, with every dish perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. A must-visit for a memorable dining experience! Came here with my friends and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent location for quieter stay Excellent stay at Gilli T as further around west of main noise so good spot for sunsets and less crowded with the youngsters. Excellent food service breakfast included in price. We booked a deluxe bungalow (no 1) so right alongside pool which was never too busy and you can cross the road to use beach facilities too. To note- lot of rooms on Gilli T offer beach facing bedrooms but really they are simply that, facing out toward beach side as there is a road between hotels and sea so you are never actually on the beach to see the ocean as set back and down hill slightly so don’t expect a sea view as such. Our room was spotless had a comfy bed superb double bathroom outside through door and staff were gr8. Free use of hotel bikes, better than having to use the poor horse and cart taxis in my view (that’s another story!) West side of island good for sunset but the beaches are not as nice very rocky with corals so bear that in mind as only 2 tides per day too
