The room had a nice, relaxing atmosphere. I had requested a room with a bathtub, and had checked in advance which rooms had a bathtub, but unfortunately there were none available on the day, so I ended up with just a shower, which was disappointing. Other than that, it was very good.

The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. The staff were all superb. The terrace had amazing views and the breakfast delicious and healthy with a good choice of foods. We were delighted with our stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

You can walk to most of Lisbon's major tourist attractions, and the cleanliness and condition of the accommodation are both excellent.
However, the rooftop bar breakfast was one of the main reasons for choosing this accommodation,
but the white staff was extremely rude and unfriendly.
They seemed to ignore me even though I didn't speak English well.
There were many other staff members, but they didn't act like that and were friendly.

Amazing hotel in the very center of Lisbon. Location is right in the middle of the Bairro Alto. Hotel is walking distance to vista points on the old town, trams and many restaurants nearby. Rooftop restaurant and bar is highly recommended for breakfast or to have a glass at sunset watching colors changing on the roofs of the old town. Unforgettable.

The location is right in the old city. You can walk to attractions and shopping. It is very convenient. The hotel service is friendly. The room is comfortable. The spa is good. The view of the breakfast is very good. The food is also good. The breakfast is delicious and cheap. I will stay here next time

The suite was tastefully decorated with locally-sourced items (so, sustainable too). Stepping into the comfortable and beautiful room after a day in the busy, crowded city was like a soothing balm. The windows and walls were effectively sound-proofed, so the room was blissfully quiet day and night; so important in Lisbon where the partying goes on all night. Throughout the entire stay, the hotel staff was helpful and friendly. We received a small gift every evening - a cookie, a scented towel - and a personal note upon arrival from the manager. The location cannot be beat - being in the heart of Bairro Alto but just off the main street so less crowded/noisy/busy. Within a one-mile radius are countless restaurants and bars. You can walk one block away to take a bus, or ride the historic Gloria electrico tram. Down the hill (about a mile) is the Tagus riverfront and Cais Sodre train station (going to Belem) or the Rossio train station (going to Sintra). Breakfast included was delicious and plentiful. Starting the day on the rooftop overlooking Lisbon's historic hills was memorable!
