This place is a hidden gem. Very much in the city centre but extremely quiet! An oasis in the middle of a busy city. The courtyard is just wonderful and creates a very calm environment. The breakfast is amazing with lots of choices and even eggs made to order. And yes, you can eat in the cute courtyard. But what really makes the difference is the people! The staff could not be any more friendly. Their positive attitude is contagious - you can’t help but to smile. Denise is just the sweetest, even gave me a hug at checkout. Unfortunately I didn’t ask for the name of the lady that ultimately checked us in, but she also was incredibly warm and helpful. I would love to keep this place a secret so it’s available for when I come back :)

It is a very small small hotel in a very very dilapidated corner. There is no place to park. After climbing up a large slope, I finally found a small hotel (2x8). It is similar to the hotel in the urban village of Guangzhou. As soon as you enter the room, there is a smell of ham. Instant noodles? What should I do? I can’t live in it. The room fee is not refunded at all and the attitude is quite bad. Please avoid this trap and don’t think about experiencing the customs and customs of the old city. Enter with caution!

The staff was super friendly, breakfast was good, and room was decent. The property was in the middle of nowhere and almost impossible to find. It was anything but a classy hotel, more like a hostel in the lobby. I suggest "Dear Lisbon Houses" about a quarter mile away that was cheaper and upscale. I also suggested they print a business card to give guests so they can find their way back to this residential neighborhood. Never again.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Charming place with friendly staff. Lovely buffet style breakfast every day, including food they’ve grown themselves. Local area is quite hilly. Also, a private area so regular cars and some taxis can’t take you right to the hotel. Lots or nice restaurants and bars in the local area, just be prepared for the walk back at night. Would definitely stay here again.

Das Zimmer war gut, mit allem, was man braucht und tiptop sauber, wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Frühstück war absolute Spitze, frisch, original einheimisch, mit Zutaten von der eigene Farm in Evora. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, vor allem Ines ist ein wahrer Engel an der Rezeption. Wir haben uns rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Lage von Casa do Patio ist etwas ungewöhnlich. Im alten Stadtteil von Lissabon Alfama, nur von Einheimischen oder offiziellen Taxis zu erreichen. Zu Zugangsstraßen sind sehr steil, man sollte also einigermaßen gut zu Fuß sein. Natürlich kann da die Unterkunft nichts dazu, man sollte es aber vorher wissen
