Paid a little more than I felt was fair for what I was getting. You can get other shared bathroom / kitchen experiences for much less and same, if not more, amenities. But, the location is premier and everything was clean.

SCAM ALERT!!!. I don’t even know where to start, haha! The place isn’t even advertised to the public. If you ask the neighbors, nobody knows it exists. They promote it as a 4-star hotel, but it’s an absolute scam. When you call, they make you wait on the street until some guy feels like showing up 30 minutes later with a bad attitude. They’ll say whatever they want, but the truth is the place stinks in every possible way. It’s a total scam. It’s located on a street full of thieves, surrounded by filth and I dont even think that place is legal. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. Luckily, Lisbon is wonderful, and there are a million great places and ten million others before this dump. Don’t go, not even if they pay you!

Great stay!
Julia was the highlight of the stay: she gave us a warm welcome and great tips for where to eat. We stayed in the Gold room (private bathroom) and it was mostly great. The only caveat was the mattress, which was clearly old and gave no back support whatsoever, which can be a big thing if you suffer back pain like me.

I want to emphasize that this property is not a hotel. It's actually an apartment and when you rent a room, you'll be sharing the kitchen and possibly the bathroom with other residents. Although the apartment was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful, I was surprised to learn that it wasn't a hotel and that I'd have to share a bathroom. This was quite a letdown for me.
