From the smiles from Diego and Paulo at my arrival, The Vintage Lisbon was a hit. Having arrived from the US, my arrival was too early to check in but my bags were collected so I could explore the hotel’s rooftop area and surrounding community. I choose The Vintage because of the central location near the main shopping boulevard and cultural sites. My average Uber Fare was under €9 to the Ocean Aquarium, Carriage Museum. If you wish to obtain a couple of nibbles there is an ALDI within a five minute walk. Special mention while booking “The Vintage” you should select the morning breakfast in the restaurant “Blue Bistro” that is on floor -1. My room (307) was the largest room that I have had both in the US and Europe, UK included. If traveling with friends or family the shower and toilet both featured a privacy doors. The toiletries were exceptional, including hair conditioner and body lotion. Each staff member greeted me graciously and were helpful with questions. This will my home while visiting Lisbon, hoping you give it a try.

The Vintage Lisbon is an amazing (newer) Hilton option as part of the SLH partnership in Lisbon. A lovely boutique property with 56 rooms. Safe location just a few mins from Avenida da Liberdade. I Used points for a one night pre-cruise stay. Hotel features a spa, indoor pool, steam and sauna, gym, dining options and rooftop bar. I arrived early and room wasn’t ready nor expected to be. I was offered to take a shower and use the indoor pool facilities included for guests. A great way to freshen up after an overnight flight. I didn’t get a diamond upgrade as the hotel was sold out but placed preferred corner room which was oversized for Europe and had multiple windows. The minibar is included for your first night and they give you a welcome kit to make complimentary gin and tonics. I also got a welcome letter, treats and bottle of wine. At turn down some dessert was waiting. Breakfast included for Gold and Diamonds is a full hot breakfast. Fresh and plentiful buffet and with selection of hot items to order. I got avocado toast with bacon and mushrooms. Drinks like specialty coffee and champagne are included as well I can’t say anything negative about the hotel. (Some will probably feel the bedding firm). Every person I’ve interacted has been fantastic and one of the best hotel stays I’ve veer had. The hotel also has a handy app to reference as well.

The hotel is lovely, great location, very clean. Breakfast is great, lots of selection. Rooms are comfortable, the gin and tonics are a nice touch as is the mini bar. On the negative side the pool is small and you need to book a slot, and we were not successful at being able to use the roof top bar which was shut for a private event or full which was disappointing for a 5 star hotel

Staff were super attentive and the hotel exudes a mid modern chic. So, not the brightest lit hotel so that may be concern for some.
