"Staying in Shuiyun is the biggest surprise of this trip to Guilin. The hotel is located on the banks of the beautiful Lijiang River. Whether in the morning or evening, the beautiful scenery outside the room is intoxicating. The hotel is rich in activities, rowing, cycling, fishing, music parties, etc., and the children are crazy. The rooms are clean and tidy and tasteful. It is very convenient to go to Dongguan Ancient Village, Guihai Qingwen, etc., and the price is 1/3 from a well-known hotel in the same community. We stayed for three nights in such a treasure hotel, and the children were reluctant to leave when we left."

"Originally booked 15-18 Dec (3 nights) but shortened to just 1 night after arriving because this being winter off peak, there aren't as much activities to do as summer or autumn as river volume is lower and there are no other staying guests besides my family. After 6pm it gets dark and there are no activities. I don't think its worth ~SGD223/night in winter for villa. I understand this place is best enjoyed in summer when there are more guests and a livelier atmosphere."
