The location is perfect. Next to Lijiang Ancient City at its south end almost part of the enclosure. One can stay late in the city knowing the bed is a step away. Breakfast is very good, I only had two meals for the day. Shuttles from front desk to hotel rooms are plenty. Last but not least, Lisa and Claire have been assisting and caring throughout our stay. All requests have been met with timely responses. Thank you!

Overall very good experience, except the buggy send us to a wrong room, but the manager was able to settle it very well. The location is perfect, connect with the ancient city and it’s open 24h. The lobby entrance also has a lot of shop nearby.

Pleasant stay. Nancy at reception was helpful. We had a room further north away from the paths and it was very quiet. Had lots of help getting kids into activities and booking rides. beautiful grounds and nice food, had ethnic photos taken with the costume shop, would totally come back!

Love our 3 night stay, conveniently located at the ancient city and accessible by car. Wide breakfast spread for us to start the day. Special mention to our butler Bella, who is so helpful by helping us book our photoshoot and finding out information for us. I definitely recommend it!

The service was great, they had a buggy service to take us from the main lobby to our rooms as it was quite a walk. The staff at the concierge- Nicholas was very helpful in assisting us with the purchase of the tickets for 云杉坪. However, the hotel itself was lacking several amenities compared to the other smaller boutique hotels we stayed, which was disappointing considering it is a more reputable chain hotel brand. The room was quite dusty and the humidifier was old and not effective at all.

I got a really good time during my stay. Especially, the location of the hotel is the best. The hotel is located in Old town, so I could walk there at any time. Also, the view from the hotel lobby was so good. Everything was good; Service, Room condition, mood etc,.

Lijiang InterContinental is one of the top hotels where everyone wants to stay. I won't repeat what others have already complemented. Instead, I'd like to emphasize how much I loved the sauna near the indoor pool. After more than 10 days of trekking in Lijiang and Shangri-La, where the sun is strong and the air is dry, my skin and respiratory system became very dry, so I was really worried. Then I found the steam sauna and stayed there for about 2 hours. It moisturized my skin and helped my muscles relax. It was like a heaven. I would highly recommend others to stay there towards the end of their trip, if they can. 😊

Beautiful resort as expected from an international brand from Intercontinental Hotels. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Superb choices and variety!

The hotel is at a excellent location in the old town. Rooms are well equipped however a bit dark with the dark furnishing. Breakfast is delicious and varying every day

The hotel is right in the middle of the old town with exits right onto the city. Service is impeccable, from housekeeping, restaurant to reception. We were lucky to interact with the manager Miya at check in and she was key to an amazing stay. Went above and beyond to book us dinner, spa appointments and make sure all our needs were met. She even arranged a cake delivered to my room for my birthday. So nice and thoughtful! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Excellent location with direct access to Lijiang old town. The hotel is designed like an old village with little walk paths and plants…very good atmosphere. Fantastic view on Jade Dragon Mountain from Lobby & Restaurant terrace! Staff are amazingly attentive and proactive (especially Julie from Front Desk) Breakfast buffet was excellent with many varieties & proper seating capacity.

Great stay. Love the hotel location. It is very easy to walk to the ancient town. The restaurant at the hotel have very delicious food. Customer service was excellent.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore Lijiang Ancient City since it’s nestled right inside of it with a gated entrance leading to the city itself. The staff are all incredibly accommodating and offered to drive us anywhere we wanted to go to on the property no matter where we were, and even helped drive and carry our luggage to our rooms. The breakfast had a very vast selection, with some favorites being the small pot rice noodles (小锅米线) and the congee. The rooms were clean and spacious, while the beds were very comfortable as well.
