Beautiful location with helpful and friendly staff

I wouldn’t go back , internet didn’t work for 2 days, fridge in the room beep so loud I had to switch it on at night. The ponds in the garden are dirty and the water is stuck

The location of the houses is excellent: in a beautiful picturesque bay with fine white sand and clear water. There are sun loungers, a swimming pool, and beach towels are provided. The mattresses on the sunbeds need to be cleaned. It is very unpleasant to lie on them: everything is covered in dirty spots. Therefore, I lowered the score for cleanliness. The rooms are clean, only the windows are covered with film in the rooms, and this film is somehow dirty. In general, there is transparent glass only in the room at the entrance; in the bedrooms there are no windows: narrow and covered with film. The rooms are very simple and ascetic. The water in the shower was barely warm. Cleaned every day. Shop nearby. Cafe too. Lamai is a 30 minute walk. There is a sidewalk. We liked.

Great location and a beautiful bay, but huge security issues. I really don't like writing negative reviews, but I have to. The hotel is located in a beautiful bay. But in the first two hours of our stay, all the cash was stolen from the safe while we were swimming, and there was money for the entire vacation, about $ 1,500 in various currencies. A very strange situation, because the safe was locked with a code and the room was locked. Only cash was stolen. Cards and passports remained untouched. The hotel manager immediately called the police, who took our statements and took fingerprints from the safe. But the investigation did not bring any results. Upon closer examination, I noticed that there are almost no CCTV cameras on the hotel grounds, the hotel grounds themselves are not closed, many strangers pass through the hotel, there is a direct open passage from the public parking lot. Instead of normal door locks, ordinary door handles are installed, which are usually installed on interior doors. Also, the safes are already very outdated, for example, our friends' safe no longer opened with a code, but had to be closed with a key. That is, as far as I understand, it is not difficult for thieves to get into the room and open the safe. So I advise everyone not to use the safe to store valuables under any circumstances. And of course, after this incident, we could not feel safe and the vacation was ruined. From reviews and conversations with the police, I understood that this is not the first case in this hotel. Be careful and have a good vacation everyone.

The location was nice. The beach and restaurant were very well maintained. Unfortunately we had an outdated room. The equipment is a bit old and unfortunately it smelled a bit. However, the outdoor area was very nice and the staff was very friendly. To our surprise, we were welcomed on the day of arrival by a lady who spoke German very well.

I think it is quite well located. It has a kind of private beach and that's very good, the downside is that it's kind of cloudy and there are several rocks on the ground. It has a great pool and various programmed activities such as DJs or fire shows. The room was also very nice, spacious and clean. I also found the staff very helpful and can arrange a transfer to the hotel for you.

Beautiful beach, wonderful atmosphere, great service

This is the most amazing setting and hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Big thank you to Sunny who was a brilliant welcome host and provided us with loads of helpful tips and ideas. The food is lovely and the surprise dish was the rice soup on the Asian Breakfast which was delish. Thank you for a fantastic holiday. Koh Samui is paradise.

Wonderful! The location is perfect right next to the beautiful beach of Crystal Bay. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Cant thank them enough, they really looked after us. We chose to have breakfast included and so pleased we did! It was delicious. The coffee passed my husbands standards for his needed fix each day. You can have up to three if you wanted! Our son is Gluten Intolerant, and they were well clued up. The menu has gluten free indicated which we found rare to see in others places. For breakfast we had brought bread with us, as had previously read it was hard to source on the Island. The chef was happy to toast this for him to have with the best scrambled eggs we have tasted :oD The pool was cool and clean. And had a cool jungle feel to it when sunbathing on the poolside beds. In fact everywhere was clean. There is a wee bit of work going on as they refresh bit by bit, but it’s good to see this! Exciting for them. It is going to look great. Our rooms were cleaned upon request whenever we needed them to be. The beds soooo comfortable. Had all the amenities we needed. And the interconnecting rooms were perfect for our size 5 family. And to add the Thai massage is awesome you must try this! There is also an impressive fire show every Tuesday Friday Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to all at Crystal Bay

The beach was excellent, the room was really nice and clean, the yacht club it's self, well, tired, the stairs to our room which had the ocean view, were very tricky to get up and down they are in a poor condition, the food was fine but the service on one meal was Outrageous "It was 9:30 at night eating a nice meal with my wife, five minutes before they said last service for drinks which was fine. then while we were half way through our meal a waiter came up and asked for payment of the meal, truly I was absolutely gob smacked. (I have never ever had this happen in a restaurant ever and I have been to some bad restaurants) it left a very bad taste, here is tip never ever do that to one of your guests again.

My family and I arrived at this resort at 7:30am.. Jetlagged and tired from travel. The girl at the front desk was so nice.. She had the maid clean our room first and we checked in hours early. Yes, the resort has a bit of a 70-80's vibe, but it's grounds are kept perfectly clean and you're staying in the middle of a tropical jungle just steps from the beach! How can you beat that?? Some people that review this place and nitpick the small details will never be happy, because they can't afford the type of luxury they expect from a mid-range resort. The on-site restaurant had delicious food and was great value. The fire-dancers the one night put on an amazing show. The only slight disappointment was the snorkeling wasn't the greatest, but it's not bad if you go out at high tide. This was our favourite resort on our Thai vacation. We hope to be back some day.

Absolutely stunning location. Beautiful beach, trapped by palm trees and gardens. Giant boulders on the beach, spectacular. Restaurant food beautifully presented and tasty. Front of house staff super helpful and friendly. Loved my hut with a view of the sea. Shame I could only stay one night.

Nice beachfront bungalow but mine had the restaurant walkway 1 metre in front so could not have an interrupted sit outside. Also very busy busy beach 1.5 metres in front. (If wanting to swim walk to other end of beach as sea in front of resort has stones and rocks underfoot.) I do not like busy beaches. Good hot water in sink and shower, good wifi and aircon. Good towels for beach and shower. Shower gel and soap. Comfy bed and pillows. The pool is good size but gets very busy as it belongs to the Yacht Club as does the restaurant. Food, I think, is overpriced but cheap eating places if turn left on main road, Also 7-11 there and an ice cream parlour (very nice creams.) Overall not my sort of resort.
