Personally, I think Levanto is the most suitable place to stay in the Cinque Terre area. It has the convenience of trains and ferries, is not as crowded as the Cinque Terre, and is not as vulgar and complicated as La Spezia."

"The hotel is surrounded by the most beautiful landscape wrapping it in a tranquil atmosphere. It’s quiet and quant. The owner is welcoming, kind, and funny. He seemingly goes out of his way to make a great experience for you. He spoke English for us and native Italian for my Italian friends. The room is very clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. The bed is comfortable too! The hotel restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and we had the most delicious dinner followed by outstanding tiramisu. The young staff was attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant. Don’t miss this one!"
