A very nice hotel that we were very pleased with. The rooms are spacious and charming. I would have preferred a more modern shower rather than the old fashioned hand held one, but it did add to the charm. The restaurant has really good food, with excellent service. There is plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather is suitable. Breakfast was also very good. I would certainly come back.

I stayed at Hotel The Lodge Heverlee, a few weeks ago. I was VERY disappointed. First, I noticed that the sink had no drain cover. No big deal, but not a very sanitary look. Next, I set the AC and went to sleep. This was the first night's sleep after 36 hours of flying and driving. The fan went on, but in the morning the temperature never moved. It was as high as 25 degrees. And lastly, the floor was disgusting. This is my right hand (thumb near the card) pressed against the floor on ONE tile wiped with my towel. This means I tracked though this muck, dragged it to bed with me, and slept in it. Either the floor had never been cleaned in a long time, or floor dirt from every other guest suite in the hotel was also wiped on this floor. Either way, I'm disgusted. Normally I don't write such public negativity, but I have tried the front desk and emailing with an unsatisfying reply. So, now this.

I spent 4 nights at the Lodge Heverlee and never wanted to leave. Everything about the Hotel is beautiful, as well as the surroundings. Waking up to seeing the Arenberg Castle on the other side of the road was just wow! And the room was too perfect for words. Great breakfast, friendly and efficient staff, clean and comfortable. There is a bus stop 10 steps away from the front door. I was alone, on a business trip, but would gladly go back as a couple. 3*** is not nearly enough for this place! I would choose this Hotel over and over again!

We were 6 adults staying at the Lodge for a weekend to visit Leuven. The rooms were above the reception area and check in was very straight forward. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast with lots of variety. The staff were also very helpful in the bar area in the evenings. The hotel is a 25/30 min walk from the Oude Markt which was ideal for us. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Located out of the centre of Leuven (parking is very easy in the streets nearby), this hotel give comfortable rooms (we had a suite, which is really very large) and an excellent breakfast at an acceptable price. Only remark is that the mattress of the bed is not the best I ever had.

Good value for money for a place full of charm. Yes, the stairs creak but that's great. The breakfast is delicious, plentiful and the staff pleasant. The icing on the cake is that there is a secure space for bicycles.

The Lodge Heverlee did not raise great expectations due to its 3-star rating, but the impressions on site were all the better. Due to the historical building style, the rooms are very high, but it was still warm in the large room. The bathroom is a bit hidden in the corner, but the solution chosen is something. There are places to sit in the courtyard and on the veranda. The Oud-Heverlee Leuven stadium is only a few minutes away, which was the reason for my booking. I felt very comfortable in the lodge, also because the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel in a beautiful location near the green campus of Leuven. Very spacious room and a bottle of water per person in the room every day. Showering in the bath is not a problem in itself, but it is inconvenient that the bath is installed the wrong way around, so that you stand at the sloping part and have to bend to get your head under the shower head, because it simply hangs on the wall and not on the ceiling unfortunately.

This weekend we are staying with friends at the Lodge Heverlee. Beautiful location, very spacious rooms in authentic style. Friendly staff, tasty food! We had the 3-night package with a romantic 5-course dinner. 3 course dinner and 4 course dinner. Everything is in tip top condition! Worth repeating!
