Dimora Charleston Spa Lecce

This B&B is housed in a beautiful villa, just steps from Lecce’s Centro Storico. It’s easily accessible by car, and the private parking is a welcome bonus. The rooms are clean and spacious, though they lack a thoughtful, professional design. The interior is quite basic and doesn’t make full use of the available space and layout. For instance, the private studio apartment we booked had very limited counter space in the bathroom, no mirror in the bedroom, and a kitchenette equipped with only two plates and no additional kitchenware. The two chairs and table on the small semi-indoor terrace were also unusable.

Dimora Charleston was quite simply the best B&B we’ve stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. Although we don’t speak Italian, the lady at check-in was kind and helpful, and it was easy to communicate. She offered us a caffè leccese on arrival, and a gentleman kindly explained it was a local iced coffee with almond milk, served with two delicious homemade jam tarts. As I don’t drink coffee, he brought me a juice instead – a really thoughtful touch. The building is beautiful, full of character, and very well looked after. The lift was a big help with suitcases, and private parking on site was ideal. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was generous and fresh, with homemade cakes and plenty of choice. The lady explained everything and made us feel at home. We also had a lovely chat with an Australian couple, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s in a great location, quiet yet close to everything. We genuinely couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lecce.

We chose Dimora Charleston based on the reviews. It did not disappoint. The owner Manlio is super gentile and made us feel at home. Dimora Charleston is ideally located near the Biagio gate, and has excellent off street parking. It is close to all the sights. Breakfast is good, served by Delia and Sabin. The room was spotless.

Great location The host treats you like family in a palace from the 1920s.cloae to a main gate into the city

A wonderful B&B, great location close to the St Baggio gate / Old town only 5 minutes walk to the gate, around 10/15 minutes walk from the train station. Those arriving in cars plenty of on site free parking. Lovely breakfast spread my wife is gluten free but no problem alternatives always available. The host made you feel very welcome staying in his house, plunge pool after a very hot day - perfect!
