Phenomenal experience here at Hyatt House in Sandton! Set in the suburbs of Johannesburg, this hotel provides a safe and tranquil environment. Rooms were super comfortable and had an apartment sort of setup with a stove, microwave, and mini fridge. In addition, the staff here are absolutely INCREDIBLE. I honestly cannot thank them enough. They are super kind and will make sure you have a great stay in Johannesburg. From the front desk to the breakfast staff, everyone was amazing, and I am looking forward to returning back to Joburg one day.

From the moment I arrived, I felt enveloped in an atmosphere of calm, luxury, and genuine hospitality. This is the kind of property that doesn’t just meet expectations — it elevates them. I was booked into one of the Villa Suites, and it was an experience in itself. The suite was beautifully appointed, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, blending elegance with comfort in a way that felt both indulgent and homely. Every detail from the plush furnishings to the serene garden views contributed to a sense of effortless relaxation. It truly felt like a private sanctuary. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. Staff members were warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. Whether it was assistance with luggage, dining recommendations, or simply a friendly check‑in to ensure everything was perfect, the team consistently delivered with professionalism and charm. The hotel grounds are equally impressive. Lush, tranquil, and meticulously maintained, they create a peaceful escape that feels worlds away from the bustle of the city. It’s the ideal setting for unwinding, whether by the pool, in the spa, or simply strolling through the gardens. Dining at Fairlawns was another highlight. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour, with a menu that balances creativity and comfort. Every meal felt like a treat. Overall, Fairlawns Boutique Hotel offers an exceptional blend of luxury, privacy, and heartfelt hospitality. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still One of My Favourite Hotels in Sandton! I’ve stayed at @Sandton Hotel before, which is exactly why I chose it again for a much longer stay this time. I’ll start with the only hiccup. I booked in February 2026, when free parking was one of the reasons I chose the hotel. By the time I checked in, the parking policy had changed and there was now a charge, which came as a surprise as this wasn’t reflected anywhere in my booking. Thankfully, the hotel handled the situation very efficiently and honoured the conditions that applied when I booked, so I didn’t have to pay. Fantastic customer service, but definitely something future guests should check when booking. Outside of that, @Sandton Hotel remains a firm favourite! The staff are lovely, the hotel is clean and beautifully maintained, and the team is incredibly responsive to guests’ needs. I always feel safe here, the location is extremely convenient, and the breakfast is fantastic. And as you can probably tell from my photos, I simply could not get enough of those gorgeous sunset views! 🌅 Another wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

I had the best time just relaxing at the hotel . The staff were very friendly and because it was my birthday they upgraded my room and gave me free breakfast . I had an amazing time and I can’t wait to go back . Room services was also really great and the views were amazing .

This is a great hotel , in a good location. The check in was smooth, room service is a bit slow though. House keeping is excellent, I like them so much . The facility is great but I didn’t like the pool area , is always packed with so many people. Some of them weren’t even guest at the hotel . Which make it a bit unsafe to leave your belonging just lying around. I mean you have to pack up everything every time you go to the loo. The pool area had no space to sit and chill on especially in the afternoon. The bar takes a bit long to prepare drinks . The waitress/waiter were amazing. I just didn’t like the check out time . 10 am it’s too early and they weren’t keen on extending with just one hour . I don’t think I’ll book again . Safety issues. If other people didn’t have that much access to the hotel I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the station, literally a 5-minute walk away. The grounds are large and secure. The restaurant near reception is very pleasant with decent food, though the wait was excessively long. We waited almost an hour for a burger... Otherwise, the room has everything you need, including dishes. A hairdryer is available upon request. The soundproofing isn't great, but luckily our neighbors weren't noisy. Breakfast was a bit repetitive but very tasty. The potatoes at Pablo's restaurant were particularly impressive.

It was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating and arranged airport pickup. The breakfast was lovely as well as room service. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Jhb. 💕❤️ The rooms were clean although amenities needed to be requested suxh as robes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo etc - not really nice after a long flight. As well as water, so if this could be provided first that would make it even great.

It's giving more 3 than 4 stars? Customer service poor. Holiday Inn was full so this was a close alternative. Had amenities but their outlets were in the kitchen far from the bed? Not very business traveller or relaxing traveller friendly. I booked a queen studio which had a kitchenette which was great for warming food etc. Decor a bit tired so could do with some love. But apart from a very dirty bottle left on the balcony it was clean. Location is excellent for Rosebank Mall even if you have to play chicken to cross the road 😆 Customer service was severely lacking. I thought Radisson Red staff were slow but at least they were always there. You can't call frontdesk . It's all QR codes and WhatsApp. Late check out would be the cost of another night R1980. Staff had a, I dunno attitude and werent very helpful. 1 security guard and 1 young lady in the lounge are the only exceptions. Outlets in the lounge and office were local only and I had to really ask to get where I could buy adapters / converters. Next time I'll go elsewhere. They're not customer focused enough for me.

I have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too! The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business. The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades. The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money! Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)

The is quiet and spacious and we had a very relaxed nights and the reception treated us well with respect and assistance.
