"I had heard it was in a not-so-safe area, but there were no issues as cars could pull right up to the hotel entrance, and there's a security guard at the parking entrance, which made traveling by ride-sharing app perfectly fine. However, I'd definitely advise against walking, even for short distances. The staff were very helpful, and my stay was comfortable. I was too lazy to go out, so I ate at the hotel's restaurant several times, and it was excellent – delicious and inexpensive. I'd love to stay here again when I next visit Cape Town. I've attached photos of the delicious burger and T-bone steak I had at the restaurant."

The location was highly convenient, allowing easy access to major attractions such as Table Mountain and the Waterfront. The apartment-style layout suited our family well, offering sufficient space for luggage, children, and downtime. The room was larger than expected and exceeded our initial expectations in comfort. While there was a slight lingering smoke smell upon arrival, airing out the room improved the environment. Staff were helpful and accommodating, especially when allowing us to store luggage prior to check-in. The overall experience balanced independence with hotel-style convenience. It was especially helpful during a busy sightseeing phase of the trip. HAVN offered a reliable, well-located option for families seeking flexibility and space in Cape Town."

"We visited the hotel in January 2026. We loved everything, the studio room with a balcony was absolutely top-notch! 🔥 The location is convenient, and there's parking available. The only downside was that the washing machine in our room wasn't working, and we constantly had to ask for access to a laundry room, which was a bit annoying. Also, a rather unpleasant incident was being charged 350 for a stained sheet. This was purely accidental due to unavoidable feminine circumstances..."

"Overall, it's a decent hotel. My room didn't have an iron or a closet. There's no microwave available for use. It's perfectly fine for a 1-2 day stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for longer. Housekeeping was daily, which was great 👍🏻. Breakfast was a buffet with a good variety."

"This is not my first time visiting this place but this time I don’t want to lie I was very disappointed. I got charged 200 rand cause my pillow had oil(hair oil) I have braids on and additional to that they said there was blood on the sheets which was so weird cause I did not bleed Mind you this blood was only mentions after I told them that I will come back tomorrow cause paying 200 Rand for small smudges of oil on the pillow cash didn’t make sense then the receptionist went on to say we saw blood Then they said there was food sauces as well ..I mean I’m staying there and I was here for 2 nights ain’t no way am I going to leave the place spotless But the receptionist was just being rude which was unnecessary Like I said this wasn’t the first time coming here I always come and never have I ever gone through this even after staying for more days with friends I just think it’s drama to charge me for oil on my pillow cause I slept on it it’s bound to happen a"

"Had a great stay at The Tokyo Aparthotel. The apartment had everything I needed and the location was close to all the main attractions in the city. The staff was friendly, welcoming and made me feel at home. There is construction going on in the area at the moment, but besides that, I would highly recommend staying here. "I chose Pullman for my conference in Cape Town this time, and it made my stay incredibly hassle-free – perfect for business travelers! The location truly deserves high praise. My conference venue was just an 8-minute walk away, so I didn't have to rush in the mornings. My daily commute was completely stress-free. It's right in the city center, and from my window, I had views of the city skyline and streets. At night, the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic ambiance with expansive views of the city lights and street traffic below. The hotel's internal restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere. The decor is modern and minimalist, with clearly defined sections for sofa booths and individual tables. The lighting is soft and pleasant, and the combination of carpets and greenery adds a touch of quality. It's suitable whether you're just having a coffee alone or a casual meal with others; it never felt noisy or crowded. The breakfast selection was especially rich, with a full spread of hot and cold dishes, fruits, and beverages. The highlight was the made-to-order omelet station, where you could customize your omelet with various fillings – fresh and incredibly tender. There was also a coffee bar where I ordered a layered latte with dense foam, which was perfect for an invigorating start to the morning. The kitchen and food pick-up areas were well-organized, and the floors were clean. The staff were friendly and refilled items promptly, so I didn't have to wait in long lines during breakfast. The public areas are thoughtfully designed, with tasteful wall decorations and premium-looking hotel brand counters. The lounge areas have plenty of greenery, creating a relaxing and un压抑 atmosphere. My room was on a high floor, and the soundproofing was excellent; with the windows closed, I could barely hear the traffic noise from the street below. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided great natural light. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained, and the hardware is up to par. All the amenities needed for a business trip are available, making it suitable for both short conference stays and longer visits. Its value for money and convenience are highly competitive among city-center hotels. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Cape Town for business!"

"Room is clean with great view overlooking table top mountain. Room is spacious, quiet and clean. The room does not have kettle but have coffee machine at each end at the corridor. If you need to have hot water, u will need to go out and switch on the coffee machine for hot water. Breakfast buffet are the same everyday, but enough variety for short stay. Location is beside CITCC which is great if you have business there."

"The facility itself truly lives up to its 5-star standard, beautiful, well-maintained, and luxurious lives up to the standard of the Radisson hotel brand which is my go to hotel when traveling the service unfortunately did not match. From the moment I arrived, I noticed a lack of basic hospitality from most of the staff. Simple gestures like greeting guests or offering assistance seemed to be overlooked, which was quite disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. That said, I would like to acknowledge the one staff member who checked me in, he was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. His service was the only moment that reflected the level of excellence one would expect here. Overall, the hotel has incredible potential, but the guest experience is significantly let down by inconsistent and, at times, indifferent service. I hope management addresses this, as the property itself deserves better representation."
