The Tokyo Aparthotel by Totalstay
"Best place to stay. Easy to connect"
Taj Cape Town
"Air conditioning and breakfast issues"
The Capetonian - Halal
"The service staff were great. Especially the restaurant team.. taking care of personal dietary needs."
The Trade Boutique Hotel
"This is hands down the top hotel we stayed at in South Africa. We were quite anxious as first time travellers to South Africa (which after the trip we realised we needn't be), and the wonderful staff at Trade Hotel eased us in. My dad loved them so much he still speaks fondly of them. They went all out to ensure our comfort, giving us tips on the safe and fuss free places to visit, where not to go (including a market we had wanted to visit), and World Cup tips [included in the price it seems ;)] . Hotel was highly securely, super safe, and as you can see from the photos, very aesthetic. We walked everywhere. Thank you for this most wonderful stay."
Cape Town Lodge Hotel
"We were updated to a much bigger room than the one we booked. The room was ok, with very comfortable bedding and bathroom. However, the furniture is a bit old fashioned. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar and a parking lot that is patrolled 24/7. The staff is nice and helpful."
Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa
"The room is OK, the hotel is a bit old, the location is good, and the breakfast is good! The service is OK, the facilities are relatively old"
Cresta Grande Cape Town
"This is our second time staying at Cresta Grande... We love the location and service"
HAVN Aparthotel by Totalstay
"Hotel located in city centre. Room clean with complete kitchen qeuipment. Reception friendly & helpfull. Breakfast great. recommended hotel"
Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore
"Had a great stay there, highly recommended! No negative points. Breakfast was nice, lot of options incl fruits and fish! The small Gym is good for a "vacation workout""

Mojo Hotel & Market
"Not a bad place. Location is great. Room is very basic but clean. Slept well after a long flight. Mojo market is right downstairs and the food selection plus vibe is great. Noisy at night but didn’t bother me too much, however I understand if it would be annoying to others."
The Bantry Aparthotel by Totalstay
"Very professional , excellent staff , and amazing location"
The Tropicana Hotel
"Such a pretty hotel, more like an air bnb. If you’re looking for aesthetically pleasing space, this is it. Location is great, 2 minute walk to the promenade and the area is relatively safe. Enjoyed the coffee from downstairs coffee shop, Juno."
Three Anchor Heart
"Beautiful little space that managed to pack everything you would need into an apt into surprisingly small square footage!! Comfortable and quiet from steeet noise, but unfortunately there were other guests celebrating a birthday into the late evening. Took some time to get through to management to organise an early bag drop, which was more convoluted than expected but otherwise the location is stellar and pretty safe as a solo female."
InterContinental Hotels TABLE BAY CAPE TOWN by IHG
"Was more than we expected, perfect weekend getaway in our own city. Big rooms and the best service."
South Beach Camps Bay Boutique Hotel
"The hotel is in a great location, just across the road from the beach, surrounded by many good restaurants. The hotel is clean and tidy, with complete facilities, very good bedding, and first-class service. It is highly recommended"
Pullman Cape Town City Centre
"Room: spacious, clean and comfortable. Our room was on the highest floor and it was quiet. If you’re traveling with an elderly, just be cautious as the shower floor is extremely slippery. One downside is that water pressure and temperature is not very stable. Location: situated in the heart of CBD, it’s a fairly safe area. Parking available for hotel guests and shuttle available to V&A Waterfront Staff: Front desk and lobby staff are friendly and welcoming. Security at the hotel and parking were also very friendly and helpful. Most staff at the restaurant were not as friendly (most but still a few staff was friendly and helpful and provided great service) Staff often forget guests’ drink orders as 2 days in a row, we did not get our tea during breakfast. I also ordered a cappuccino while waiting in front or the coffee machine however I was forgotten as well. I was better off making my own coffee. Breakfast: They served standard American style breakfast with selection of fruits, pastries and salads. Their hashbrowns were my favourites! If only the food can be a little different everyday, we stayed there for 4 days and had the same food everyday. Overall, we enjoyed our stay room but restaurant staffs’ service and attitude can be improved."
The Marly Boutique Hotel
"The Marley is then jewel in Camps bay, being the most incredible hotel in the most incredible location at the heart of the vibes but elevated enough above to become a haven to retire to. The staff are probably the most warm and helpful people we have ever come across"
Blackbrick Hotel Gardens - Cape Town
"Brand new hotel with gorgeous minimalist architectural design. Bed is comfortable, kitchen is very complete, views are incredible, and the staff consists of lovely individuals who are eager to assist (Unam was my favorite). I spend about thirty nights per year in hotel rooms and this was one of my favorites of 2025. I highly recommend."
ONEHUNDRED on M - Fluent Serviced Apartments
"The location is excellent, and the security is top-notch. The basic amenities in the room are very sufficient. Everything was satisfactory, except for the rather small sink in the bathroom. The staff were also very helpful."
A Sunflower Stop Backpackers
"I recently stayed at A Sunflower Stop Backpackers, and overall, it’s a solid place with great potential. The location is fantastic—secure, easy to find, and peaceful. The vibe of the place is lovely, and it’s clear that a lot of effort goes into maintaining the facilities. The staff were friendly, and the amenities were more than adequate for a backpacker’s stay. However, my experience was dampened by some of the other guests. While it's understandable that you can't control who shows up, the presence of certain individuals created an atmosphere that was less than ideal. For a place that markets itself as a 4-star spot, I think there should be more consideration in selecting guests to ensure the vibe remains pleasant for everyone. It’s a bit of a shame because the property itself is wonderful, but the people who stay can really impact your experience. If they could find a way to better manage guest dynamics, this could easily be a 4 or even 5-star experience. Would I return? Maybe. But I’d hope the management puts a little more thought into who they welcome in the future"
Signal Hill Lodge
"Very nice day time manager. So kind. Taxi will 50% chance get lost each time. Night time manager was harder to work with, more rude."
Cape Town Marriott Hotel Crystal Towers
"I had an amazing stay. I will definitely go back and I would recommend it to anyone. Excellent services and amazing staff."
Protea Hotel Cape Town Waterfront Breakwater Lodge
"Good location , it is very near v&a Waterfront. Very convenient. Very good service."
Camps Bay Retreat Hotel
"We absolutely loved our stay. The retreat was so calming and the perfect place to relax. We felt very welcomed even with a young baby. Would highly recommend. we can’t wait to return."
The Onyx Apartment Hotel by Newmark
"Decent location about a 15 minutes walk to the V&A. Nice sized apartment and good onsite facilities including gym, restaurant, coffee shop, pool. Helpful front desk. Comfortable beds. No in-room adaptors."
