"The hotel location is the best, so close to the conference place and can walk to V&A waterfront around 20mins. Or you can take a hop on hop off bus to go around cape town, the bus stop also very close tho the hotel. But honestly the hotel is not really clean, but the room is big enough! Better ask for nee renovated room, the old one is really old, you won’t like it. And better bring your own slippers and teeth brush, cause the hotel didn’t provide but you can pay hotel to get one. The breakfast is just ok, but there is a burger king near the hotel. And need to be careful when go out, especially during night time."

There was an incident regarding security of my room and reception were very supportive and patient in reviewing all the CCTV footage. I was ensured staff would be formally approached about the incident. The hotel gave me a room stay for the day afterwards and accommodated any request."

"I had booked this hotel for my husband and his friend , unfortunately they had an urgency at work and they couldn’t make it on the said date, they asked me to modify their booking to a later date but I was denied by the hotel managers/ operators. My request went in 2 days prior to the reservations date but I only got a response two days on that the hotel couldn’t cancel. I have learnt my lessons never to pay online until I get there Incase of any emergencies"

Room a bit weird design but good facilities for self catering etc and the shower was good with nice, complimentary shampoo etc. If you want space, facilities and great location at a reasonable price but don't want unnecessary opulence then it's a decent choice for Sea Point if you get it for a decent price."

"Nice hotel with great location. Mojo Market is right next to it and that makes it super convenient for food, drinks and live music most nights. The staff is super friendly, helpful and truly make you feel welcome. The only suggestion would be to let people know there's construction currently happening right next to the hotel which makes it a little noisy. Perhaps the hotel could offer rooms for a cheaper rate for the inconvenience. TVs might need checking as well. I was not able to use mine at all. Overall it was a great stay though. "Made a reservation here for a few nights in October but read some mixed reviews and decided not to go. I booked the option that didn’t allow cancellations so I didn’t even retire them. Just didn’t show up 😔 As the world works in mysterious ways…. I ended un staying here in November for 3 nights. Absolutely loved the place and the staff. Dorms are super clean, so are the bathrooms. Kitchen is very well stocked and sparkling clean. But what made the difference was the staff. We were greeted by a team of helpful and happy staff. With enormous smiles and a heart warming service. I I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"Poor management as we arrived 12pm told check in only at 2pm so we went for lunch and said we back at 2pm. We returned and told cleaners still busy and I had booked a teams meeting for 2:30pm with expectation room would be ready at 2pm. It’s was eventually only available at 15:45pm. Management offered no alternative until i got really upset and at 14:45 he gave me a temporary room to conduct meeting. When we used kitchen sink to do dishes all water ran out under sink and onto floor. ~Surely cleaners would have noticed this when they cleaned? Then on Monday we went out for day ay 9am and returned at 3pm to find out our room not cleaned and excuse was they see to rooms vacated first before making up room for current guest. So cleaner came 15:30 and cleaned whilst we were in room…again management shrugs shoulder with lame excuse of priority being check out rooms. This should not be our problem they obviously don’t have enough staff. Many clients who were here over same period were not happy and complained…will not use this accommodation again and we regularly visit Cape Town 2/3 times a year….Also no inventory had to take pics of damages as proof of what was broken/damaged to ensure my deposit no impacted.."

"We stayed for three weeks in March 2026 and absolutely loved everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, always ready to help and accommodate our requests. Housekeeping was excellent, coming every other day. Upon arrival, we found tea, coffee (ground and in capsules), sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and even dishwasher tablets – everything you could need! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary utensils. There's also a decent rooftop pool with fantastic views. Overall, it was a superb stay! We hope to return and stay here again."

"Stayed here for 4 very relaxing and peaceful nights. Breakfasts were super, with a great selection of hot, freshly cooked options. Served on a terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. We had dinner here one night, which was delicious. Staff are wonderful, kind, smiling and attentive. The retreat is close to the beaches and promenade, yet secluded away enough to be peaceful. We stayed in a villa room, across the bridge, rather than the hotel itself. We would highly recommend a stay here."
