The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive staff, who made me feel at home immediately. The accommodation was spotless, elegant, and very comfortable. The room was beautifully designed with great attention to detail, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. Everything was well-maintained, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to assist with transportation arrangements, local recommendations, and every request I had — always with a smile and sincere kindness. Their helpfulness made my trip in Hue smooth, stress-free, and truly memorable. Amazing hotel, I'll definitely be back! The location is great, nestled among rice paddies with a lovely, expansive property. Breakfast was incredibly delicious with a huge variety of dishes, and as a coffee lover, I was very pleased with the coffee station. The hotel is very cozy, and the staff are incredibly helpful and speak good English. The room is very spacious and clean, with everything you need, great water pressure, a smart toilet, and most importantly, a very powerful air conditioner. There were always plenty of sun loungers by the pool, and you could get towels for free. I truly felt like I was in an excellent 5-star hotel here.

I travel a lot last year and although most of them are business, I think fair to say I have stayed in lots of hotels. And I am more than happy to say Vedana is the best hotel I ever stayed. Clean, peaceful, good food, crazy night view, these are the ”normal” things you can read online. I want to specifically call out their service. I am a solo traveller and I was on motorbike trip between Da Nang and Hue. On my final day of the trip, I suppose to ride from Vedana to Da Nang but the rain was crazy and no sign of stopping at all. The hotel staff helped me out not only ordering a lalamove (to deliver me and my bike to rental shop in the most cost efficient way), also help me negotiate with the van driver for a much better price. In the end, I only paid very very minimum to get my motorbike returned and myself arrive at airport in time. It is just incredible that how much they will help you.

We decided to book our last night in Hue at this hotel after accidentally passing by it. The exterior part looks much nicer than the interior, as we found out after checking in. We thought that this hotel is very new because of its exterior, but acctually it is not. The location is very convinient, close to the main area with a lot of restaurants and nightlife options. We booked a ”deluxe suite”, which was a bit more expensive, primarily because of the windows. Pay attention that the cheapest categories of the rooms DO NOT have windows, which might be dissapointing for some guests. I suggest to pay a bit more for having a room with a window. Our ”suite” was rather small and very basic. The pictures are quite realistic, so you can trust them. The rooms in the front face a constraction site, so you might hear some noise. The TV and the AC worked propely. There is NO pool in this hotel and the staff consists of receptionists only (NO concierge or bellboy service). The girls are friendly and supportive, they allowed us to check out a bit later, as we had our train in the afternoon. The lobby serves also as a breakfast place, there is no designated area for having a breakfast. In our booking the breakfast was included. It is rather basic and is more suitable for local tourists' taste, but western guests won't stay hungry. We particularly liked banana pancakes and their version of pork dimsums. Furits, soup and egg dishes are also available. All in all, this is a very good and affordable option for a short stay in Hue.

I stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was within walking distance of the Imperial City and the night market area, but it was so hot that I ended up using Grab for most of my transportation. The street in front of the hotel wasn't as lively as the backpacker district, but on weekends, it became a pedestrian-only street with lovely lights. Because of this, there was karaoke every night, which I could hear from my room. The hotel itself is a bit older, but it was very clean. The room and bed were spacious, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fruits and vegetables, making it very healthy. The mangoes, in particular, were delicious and gave a great taste of Vietnam. The live kitchen had an egg station and a noodle bar. There was also a good variety of breads, catering to different international tastes, which was a nice touch. The staff were all very kind, greeting me with a smiling 'Xin chào!' every time I passed them. Thanks to them, my impression of Hue was very positive.

Having stayed at a Banyan Tree resort in the past, I had high expectations of this resort and I have to say, it did not disappoint me in one bit. Firstly, I have to mention the exceptional service. There is not a single thing the staff are not prepared to do in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Being a Muslim traveller, we had some concerns regarding the halal aspect of the menu. But I'm glad to say that the chefs understood the requirements and accommodated us flawlessly. We stayed in the pool beach villa for my daughter's 27th birthday, we booked two side by side. The villa itself was sensational. Getting up in the morning, walking on your own patio to your private pool, a stone throw away from the sandy beach, it's literally heaven on earth. Again, I will go back to the service levels because this is what truly makes Banyan Tree the special brand that it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your caring. Special mention to Nhi, Hung and Tan for making it extra special. The only downside is that it's slightly off the beaten track. A night out in Danang is a 2 hour round trip. But we spent the first 5 days of our holiday doing all the exploring and Banyan Tree Lang Co was the perfect wind down before heading home. I highly recommend anyone looking for a luxury escape in Vietnam, pick this place!

Great Location and Excellent Service – Perfect for a Short Stay We recently stayed at the Century Riverside Hotel in Hue for one night. Overall, we had a positive experience and would certainly recommend it for travelers looking for a convenient base in the city. Room Experience We booked a family room with a connecting door. Upon arrival, we found that the setup was actually two small rooms with an open section between them, rather than two fully separate rooms with a connecting door. While this wasn't the exact layout we expected, it didn't bother us at all since we were only staying for one night. It is just worth keeping in mind if you are traveling as a family and prefer complete privacy. The Highlights Despite the room layout, the hotel excels in several key areas: • Perfect Location: The hotel is centrally located, making it very easy to explore Hue and access everything you need nearby. • Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was fantastic. It was very extensive, and everything we tasted was delicious—definitely a great way to start the morning. • Friendly Staff: The service was a major highlight. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our time there, which really made our stay more pleasant. Verdict: If you are looking for a well-located hotel with great service for a short stay in Hue, the Century Riverside Hotel is a solid choice.

When we got there, we welcomed so warmly by Han on the receptionist, a very good man who packed our breakfast the next morning because our flight was leaving so early. The staff was really welcoming, the rooms are clean, the pool is amazing and the food was great.

The hotel is a bit run-down. Overall, it's decent for 1600₽. The towels are pristine white. The bedding, although white, isn't perfect – some pilling here and there, and it's not cotton. There's hot water and a hairdryer. The street closes at night and they ask you to move your bikes. You won't be able to sleep until 10-11 PM because of the loud music on the street and karaoke at the neighboring hotel. They really helped me out in the morning – the lady at reception lent me a helmet for a while 🙏🏻 Thank you!
