"Everything was good. They just need to fumigate, and then it'll be perfect. The staff is very friendly, especially the men! Everything was clean and tidy."
"Although it wasn't luxurious, the stay was very comfortable, the staff were professional and friendly, and overall it was a great experience! No major problems, high value for money, highly recommended!"
"The hotel room is quite big, and the sanitation is very clean. It's good that it's not in South Beach. It's not so noisy at night, and the hotel's sound insulation is very good, and the construction on the road can't be heard at all. The staff is very enthusiastic and responsible, but the parking is only valet parking, the price is 40 dollars a day"

"The room was adequate but not luxurious. The staff was polite. The location is good and quiet at night. There are trolley stops on both corners (Collins and Indian Creek) that allow you to travel around the island for free. There's a large supermarket (Publix) less than 10 blocks away. A Starbucks is just around the corner. However, the beach resort service was not honored. For half of our stay, they told us it was no longer available, which makes no sense because it's a contracted service that depended on a hotel located eight blocks away and is part of the same hotel group. This is stated on their website and in the terms and conditions agreed upon through the app. Breakfast is another area that needs improvement... they always served the same thing with few healthy options (scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, roasted potatoes, bread, and either a mandarin orange or orange). In short, it's an affordable hotel with a good location, but it doesn't deliver on its promises and the breakfast is quite poor."
"The location is on North Beach, very close to the sea, just across the street! There are four or five streets in the dining area! The surrounding environment is definitely not as good as the Lincoln Mall near 16th Street. But the price is reasonable, parking is convenient. There is a problem, the hotel address provided by Ctrip is not the address of the hotel check-in, the front desk is at collins ave 7500. After checkin, the rooms that may be allocated are in different buildings on different streets!"
"The lobby is freezing cold. The staffs are friendly. The check-in wait time was about 20 minutes because there was only one front desk staff and the group before us spent too much time.
The room is decent and clean. Love the balcony and direct access to the beach. The pool is kinda small, but they have two pools."
"I had a good time there. The room had a nicer smell than manny places in Miami.
But as others say, bedsheet is kind of dirty, better don’t looks to there exactly. Worst is resort fee. Thx to Trip they helped me. You see the price and in the end it’s half of it more , because of „resort fee“. I think they know before you stay in the resort so the fee for maybe the pool o never went, can be included in the price. Second worst is threat there is disclaimed a kitchen and there is just NOTHING about it 😅😅 but room had good smell, kind people who do good service , they clean the room. So not that horrible as some people say."

Very Good
GGuest UserExcellent hostel with a fantastic location, and for minimal money too! The staff are friendly and genuinely always ready to help. The rooms are clean, with daily housekeeping, and the beds and their ladders are sturdy. There's a hot water dispenser near the pool (next to the washing machines).
GGuest UserLoved the hotel and the amenities. Especially enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool area, the beach towel and chair being included, and the overall set up of the hotel.
Great location, food and drinks. Would highly recommend to others and will happily book another trip here again.
GGuest UserIt was wonderful having the ocean in your backyard. Pool was amazing especially at night. Room was smaller than we had expected. The location was amazing. Shops and restaurants lined the streets.
GGuest UserRoom clean but very small. Friendly service.
As people over 70, we did not feel at ease.
On the first day, there was a pool party at the swimming pool, and we didn't feel inclined to go to the pool. (Saturday)
On the day of departure, Sunday, we were able to use the pool after checking out. However, 80% of the sunbeds by the pool were reserved.
The music volume is between 80 and 118 decibels.
Around 10:30 PM, there was also a noise disturbance.
Something was done about this after a phone call.
In short: Nice place for young people, but they won't see me here again…
11336625****I had a great stay at Viajero Hostel. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the common areas were perfect for meeting people.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Anto, who made everything easy and made me feel really welcome.
I’d definitely recommend this hostel and would stay here again!
LliplipThere is no problem in a twin room for a family of four. The bed is big enough.
However, the space and passages in the room are very narrow. Generally, after the 24” suitcase is opened, there is no room to move around, which is a bit annoying.
The waiters are very welcoming and helpful.
The most surprising thing is that the hotel has free bicycle rentals, which can be borrowed for up to 2 hours a day. Our family of 4 borrowed 4 bicycles and cycled around South Beach, which we found to be a very worthwhile activity.
JJINGQIANGAt the beach in central Miami, the beach is at the doorstep. The shape is a 50s and 60s building, and the interior is a modern style that has just been renovated. It is very comfortable to live in, and there are fewer restaurants around.
GGuest UserHonestly, the Ritz-Carlton rarely disappoints, and this stay perfectly met my expectations for a South Beach getaway. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, especially the fruit selection which was abundant and unique. My only minor regret was the absence of a salad option, which felt a bit odd for someone used to having vegetables for breakfast. While the staff kindly brought me some avocado and tomato, it still felt like I was missing out on some Vitamin C. I'm not sure if it's a Southern thing to treat fruit as a vegetable, but the lack of salad was a bit surprising. What truly delighted me was finding out that the lobby featured Krigler, a perfume brand Audrey Hepburn loved. As a big fan of hers, I didn't hesitate to purchase a bottle.
CChalsey LBoulan South Beach – Honest Review
I recently stayed at Boulan South Beach and overall had a great experience, with a few minor drawbacks.
Positives:
The location is fantastic—just one block from the beach and in a very walkable area surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The hotel itself offers solid amenities, including a small but relaxing rooftop pool with a bar. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at Orange Blossom, the on-site restaurant. The food was excellent, and I’d highly recommend checking it out even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
The rooms are well-appointed, apartment-style suites that feel spacious and thoughtfully designed. I also appreciated how quiet the rooms were—perfect for getting a good night’s sleep after a day out.
Negatives:
That said, I was disappointed by the bed. The listing advertised a pillow-top mattress, but the bed was far from comfortable and fell short of our expectations. Also, for a room that otherwise felt luxurious, the lack of bathrobes was a small detail that would’ve really rounded out a luxurious experience.
Additionally, while the room was clean, some of the design choices were lovely but weren’t the most practical for a hotel setting. The cloth-upholstered bed frame, while stylish, showed some staining—fabric furniture can be hard to keep looking fresh in a high-turnover “fun” environment. Similarly, the jute rug added visual texture but proves to be difficult to clean and showed signs of wear.
Final Thoughts:
Boulan South Beach is a solid choice if you’re looking for a stylish, well-located hotel in South Beach with great amenities and a quieter, more refined atmosphere. Just be aware of a few comfort and design trade-offs. It really is too bad, because Boulan is excellent on so many things and I would 100% go back and definitely recommend this hotel to others… However, the bed quality really brought down the overall appeal. If they can improve that one aspect, this would easily be a top-tier stay in South Beach.
