"the location is good. checking in was ok other then you have to pay for parking in the garage. we had to change our room two times. doing to the fact the bathroom every time we took a shower water got every where and we had to keep cleaning it then mold in the bathroom. then the next room ac didn't work . then day of check out when check out was at 11 we left to go get breakfast and when we came back it was around 9:45am and they were cleaning out our room and felt like we were getting pushed out. i wasn't happy about it at all. the pictures they have of the hotel isn't their hotel it's the hotel next door."

Be aware that the price you pay upfront isn't the final cost, as resort fees and service charges are added on top. Breakfast and even water are also incredibly pricey. However, both the hotel's interior and the rooms are truly beautiful and spotless, and the service is excellent. If you go, consider it an investment that's worth the high price. It's definitely not a budget-friendly hotel."

"We also used the private beach! Please note that service to both the pool and beach ends at 5pm. It was great that there were refillable bottles in the room and water could be refilled anywhere in the hotel! It's more eco-friendly than plastic bottles. We upgraded to a spacious junior suite, which was a great choice! Our family of four had plenty of room to spare. The bathroom was spacious, with a separate shower and chair. The amenities also had a nice scent.
It was easily accessible from the airport, and we arrived in about 15 minutes by Uber for about 3,500 yen!
From our room, we could see the neighboring tower apartment building and the beach."

2026 Americas 50 - Instagrammable Hotels"Superb facilities and location. Rooms exceptional and housekeeping staff great! A workforce (and teams) of two halves - some friendly and helpful, others rude and dismissive of guests - equally felt as if some staff were working harder than others and a lot of ‘standing around’ by the work shy crew members pretending to be busy doing very little. Could be an amazing experience if service (and staff training) was consistent."

"The hotel is close to the beach, and the breakfast area is on the first floor. There's also a nice swimming pool on the first floor. Apples and drinks are available at the entrance reception. The rooms are a bit small, especially the double rooms; the layout feels a little cramped. It's indeed very close to the beach, just a short walk away. The beach scenery is beautiful and not hot between 6:30 and 7:30 am."

No. 9 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Miami Beach"While the hotel location is good, the hotel leaves much to be desired. First, we were assigned a king bed room overlooking the street with a balcony. However on our second day we were made to change rooms to a queen with no balcony. The staff messed up the reservation. Second there was no buffet breakfast. Third, there was no mention anywhere before booking about the daily resort fee of $45. I would not choose to stay at the Savoy Hotel again or recommend it to friends. For the prices charged there should be a buffet breakfast and the statf should know how to handle a reservation"

GGuest UserExcellent hostel with a fantastic location, and for minimal money too! The staff are friendly and genuinely always ready to help. The rooms are clean, with daily housekeeping, and the beds and their ladders are sturdy. There's a hot water dispenser near the pool (next to the washing machines).

As people over 70, we did not feel at ease.
On the first day, there was a pool party at the swimming pool, and we didn't feel inclined to go to the pool. (Saturday)
On the day of departure, Sunday, we were able to use the pool after checking out. However, 80% of the sunbeds by the pool were reserved.
The music volume is between 80 and 118 decibels.
Around 10:30 PM, there was also a noise disturbance.
Something was done about this after a phone call.
In short: Nice place for young people, but they won't see me here again…

GGuest UserThe lobby is freezing cold. The staffs are friendly. The check-in wait time was about 20 minutes because there was only one front desk staff and the group before us spent too much time.
The room is decent and clean. Love the balcony and direct access to the beach. The pool is kinda small, but they have two pools.

GGuest UserHonestly, the Ritz-Carlton rarely disappoints, and this stay perfectly met my expectations for a South Beach getaway. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, especially the fruit selection which was abundant and unique. My only minor regret was the absence of a salad option, which felt a bit odd for someone used to having vegetables for breakfast. While the staff kindly brought me some avocado and tomato, it still felt like I was missing out on some Vitamin C. I'm not sure if it's a Southern thing to treat fruit as a vegetable, but the lack of salad was a bit surprising. What truly delighted me was finding out that the lobby featured Krigler, a perfume brand Audrey Hepburn loved. As a big fan of hers, I didn't hesitate to purchase a bottle.

LliplipThere is no problem in a twin room for a family of four. The bed is big enough.
However, the space and passages in the room are very narrow. Generally, after the 24” suitcase is opened, there is no room to move around, which is a bit annoying.
The waiters are very welcoming and helpful.
The most surprising thing is that the hotel has free bicycle rentals, which can be borrowed for up to 2 hours a day. Our family of 4 borrowed 4 bicycles and cycled around South Beach, which we found to be a very worthwhile activity.

JJINGQIANGAt the beach in central Miami, the beach is at the doorstep. The shape is a 50s and 60s building, and the interior is a modern style that has just been renovated. It is very comfortable to live in, and there are fewer restaurants around.

CChalsey LBoulan South Beach – Honest Review
I recently stayed at Boulan South Beach and overall had a great experience, with a few minor drawbacks.
Positives:
The location is fantastic—just one block from the beach and in a very walkable area surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The hotel itself offers solid amenities, including a small but relaxing rooftop pool with a bar. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at Orange Blossom, the on-site restaurant. The food was excellent, and I’d highly recommend checking it out even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
The rooms are well-appointed, apartment-style suites that feel spacious and thoughtfully designed. I also appreciated how quiet the rooms were—perfect for getting a good night’s sleep after a day out.
Negatives:
That said, I was disappointed by the bed. The listing advertised a pillow-top mattress, but the bed was far from comfortable and fell short of our expectations. Also, for a room that otherwise felt luxurious, the lack of bathrobes was a small detail that would’ve really rounded out a luxurious experience.
Additionally, while the room was clean, some of the design choices were lovely but weren’t the most practical for a hotel setting. The cloth-upholstered bed frame, while stylish, showed some staining—fabric furniture can be hard to keep looking fresh in a high-turnover “fun” environment. Similarly, the jute rug added visual texture but proves to be difficult to clean and showed signs of wear.
Final Thoughts:
Boulan South Beach is a solid choice if you’re looking for a stylish, well-located hotel in South Beach with great amenities and a quieter, more refined atmosphere. Just be aware of a few comfort and design trade-offs. It really is too bad, because Boulan is excellent on so many things and I would 100% go back and definitely recommend this hotel to others… However, the bed quality really brought down the overall appeal. If they can improve that one aspect, this would easily be a top-tier stay in South Beach.
