"The room and facilities are very good and the breakfast is rich. There is a problem. Stayed for three days and once did hygiene. In addition, it arrived at three in the morning and waited for a long time to open the door."

"The hotel is amazing and beautiful all around. Meeting the amazing well mannered staff was pleasant. I was greeted right away upon entering the hotel with my wife. John greeted me with a big smile while I was walking through the lobby. The room was something else. I could not forget the view. My wife and I wanted to get away from our hectic lifestyle and forget it for a weekend and the Thompson made that happen. Thank you to all who helped us during that time. I will be coming back."

"Very distinctive hotel! However, the room was wrong. We set a premium river view bed room with a balcony, but found that the room type given was an ordinary superior bed room with different costs. I didn't bother to change it and didn't find the front desk. The room is small but the hotel environment is very good. It is found that the rooms set by Trip.com are generally not as good as those set by the hotel or other platforms."

"The Riverwalk Plaza was a beautiful, historical hotel. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful with all questions and concerns. It’s walking distance to the Riverwalk which is a HUGE bonus. There is also onsite dining options. I had the best blueberry latte I have ever had at the cafe on location. The next time I find myself in San Antonio, I will definitely be staying here again!"

"Really great experience!! Staff was great. Riverwalk next door was convenient!! Definitely will recommend to family and friends. Room was clean. Breakfast and the kickback hour was amazing. Had a really fun and great time for our little mini vacation this weekend. The shops near by were fun to go into and get souvenirs."

"The hotel itself is very nice, and the valet and bellhop staff were exceptionally friendly. The location is excellent, right on the Riverwalk, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure; however, if you’re tall, the shower head placement is not ideal—my husband is 5’10” and had to duck to use it. We would consider staying again, but on our last morning the toilet clogged and overflowed onto the floor. This was frustrating, especially since very little toilet paper had been used. Most people would consider a toilet overflow an urgent issue that requires immediate attention. We called for assistance, but no one ever came. It seemed as though staff assumed they could wait since we had a couple of hours before checkout, which was disappointing. As a result, my husband had to go to the ground floor to use the restroom, and we had to navigate around toilet water on the bathroom floor while getting ready."

"From the moment I arrived it was such a great experience. The valet although being busy and taking longer than expected I was attended to well and when I left one of the valet members remembered my last name which was appreciated. The room was nice and roomy for a solo travel. I liked the balcony that came with my room. The only thing that irked me slightly was after the doors closed at midnight I was asked twice if I had my key card. I was also asked if I was a guest. I understand security reasons but I felt like it was quite unnecessary to be asked multiple times and it made me feel uncomfortable."

"The room was decent, with two 1.5-meter beds and an old-fashioned bathtub in the bathroom where you had to stand to shower. The hotel was said to be a converted prison, located next to a small park. There's a river there, but not the one along the river walk. It's about a five-minute walk to the river. The hotel offers breakfast on the first floor in a small but filling space. They also have a COSCO coffee machine. There's a Domino's Pizza next door; their pizzas are quite good."
