"A classic Hi USA hostel. For 400 RMB, getting a bunk in the South Loop is something to be grateful for. The location is excellent: a bus stop is just across the street to the south, a metro station to the north, and Grant Park to the east. Most major attractions are even within a 20-minute walk. The water dispenser is only on the second floor, which is quite inconvenient. Having to go downstairs every time to get water is a bit of a hassle. The downsides are clear: the decor is a bit dated, and there are no bed curtains. Plus, it's right next to the elevated Loop 'L' train tracks, so the noise is noticeable. Those with poor sleep quality will have a tough time. Personally, I don't mind; it's part of Chicago's character. There are lockers in the room for your belongings, just remember to bring your own lock. Each room has a sink outside the door, with separate bathrooms and toilets. The bathrooms are equipped with shower gel and shampoo, and amenities are restocked promptly. However, the shower water pressure in the room is insufficient. I also tried the communal showers, and the water pressure there was much better than in the room, making for a much more comfortable wash. The cleaning staff are efficient, promptly removing dirty towels and emptying trash cans. The front desk staff are very friendly, and you can ask them for fresh towels even late at night. In summary: For 400 RMB, what more can you ask for from a bunk bed within the Loop?"

"The hotel was fabulously located in the Loop. The room we had was very large, and although it was a bit dated, especially the bathroom, with a shower curtain, it was still very clean to this day. A minor issue with the drain was resolved immediately. The staff was very polite; they even let us leave our things on checkout day. I'd also like to mention that the British pub downstairs is fantastic, whether for lunch or for a drink when you arrive tired from sightseeing. In short, I would return."

"The hotel is very cost-effective and has an excellent location. It is only a few minutes' walk from Millennium Park. "The hotel is quite close to the exhibition center, about a 30-minute walk. There's a park nearby, and it's not far from the lake either. However, the hotel staff had a poor attitude; they were unwilling to provide disposable toiletries, though the guy who helped with luggage storage was good. The room facilities are old, soundproofing is bad, and the bathroom has no extractor fan – the alarm even went off after a shower if the door wasn't closed. It's definitely not worth $350 a night."

"The front desk service and catering services are okay, but the cleaning service is not standardized. When I checked in, there was a rag missing from the bedside table. The room was not cleaned on the first day of my two-day stay. On the contrary, the room service was very diligent after four o'clock. Be sure to lock the room if necessary. The waiter who makes the bed and draws the curtains comes in very quickly after four o'clock. It only costs a small locker in downtown Chicago, and breakfast is expensive. Don't drive. Parking at the hotel is at least 75$."

"The hotel was fine, but: 1. We arrived, they gave us the room keys, we went up, and everything was still dirty and full of trash from previous guests. They forced us to go to the hotel next door, come back for breakfast, and then finally move us to the room we were entitled to the next day. 2. "Everything was really good, nice view and nice beverages provided foc at the lobby. Only they provided 2 bottle soof drinking water every 3 days, which means we got one time only. The chinese restaurant was really good. And location, was so-so. Need to walk to the city attraction, plus with the winter."

"The room is very comfortable, with its own kitchen. There is a small supermarket and **Jiu next to it. It is very comfortable to eat or cook. The apartment is fully equipped with washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, laundry detergent, stoves, tableware, and even detergent and scouring pads. This price-performance ratio is unbeatable in Chicago. It is a bit regrettable that the bed is relatively small, and it is a bit crowded for two people to sleep. The air conditioner is very noisy."

"The front desk staff were warm and friendly. They were very patient with me, even though my English isn't great, and used translation software to help. My room had a city view; while it wasn't a lake view, I could see the tall buildings outside. The room was spacious, and although the decor was a bit dated, it was exceptionally clean. You have to pick up bottled water yourself from the front desk. The location is superb, directly across from the lakeside and a park. It's within walking distance of Millennium Park and the Art Institute of Chicago. The Magnificent Mile and Chicago River are a bit further to walk, but the #3 bus right outside the hotel makes it very convenient to get there. It's close to the business district, near the subway, and there's a Macy's nearby. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, and there's even a Starbucks on the first floor of the hotel, making it very easy to grab things. The hotel opened in 1920-something, so it's almost a century old and many historical figures have stayed here. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip."

"Clean and comfortable place to stay! Central to all main Chicago tourist attractions. The Hilton and the Homewood Suites are connected: Homewood floors 2-22nd and Hilton 23-29. Loved the views from the 28th floor— looking out to the gorgeous skyline and the lake! + A great restaurant on the first floor! Definitely will be staying here again!"
