Recommended for: Friends looking for a budget-friendly trip. The location is good for the price, and it's quite clean. It's close to GPO (Guam Premier Outlets), and the staff are friendly. Not recommended for: Couples. Also, if you have allergies (especially to dust/mold), I wouldn't recommend it. If you can't shower with cold water, make sure the boiler has been fixed before you go. Facilities: The physical structure is the same as the photos, but the pictures seem heavily retouched to look 'prettier' or 'brighter.' For Koreans born in the 90s, if you remember 'retreats,' it's exactly like the resorts we used to go to for elementary school retreats (late 90s - early 2000s). Cleanliness: Despite the aging facilities, the cleaning was good. Although it's old, the bathroom had no stains and there was no dust in the corners of the room; it was well-cleaned. There was no drain smell. Air/Smell: There's a moldy smell. The air is humid, and the bedding felt damp. I tried to ventilate, but there were pigeons on the balcony, so I couldn't open the window. If you have rhinitis, prepare for a runny nose and coughing fits. Major Downside!!!!! The boiler had been broken since 12/15 and was under repair, but I received no notice until check-in on 12/21! I went out and came back in, only to find no hot water and had to shower with cold water, which was incredibly chilling! The free cancellation period was until 12/17. If they had informed me about the hot water issue earlier, I would have canceled. I only found out about the broken hot water after showering at 11 PM on the first night after a starlight tour, so I couldn't even get a refund for the first night. Pros: Still, the staff were kind and responsive, and they refunded me for the remaining nights of my stay. Guam is warm, but the room is so humid that you can't turn off the air conditioning. If you come back from the beach or swimming and there's no hot water, it's really, really cold. If you're planning to book in December, I recommend checking if the boiler has been fixed first.

“Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tano in Tumon, Guam! The location is perfect — right in the heart of Tumon Bay, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping at T Galleria, and all the action.The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable with new bedding and a great rain shower. Free WiFi was fast and reliable. The outdoor pool and 24-hour gym were nice bonuses.The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. “Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nikko Guam! The hotel is tucked away on Gun Beach with a more private and tranquil feel compared to the busier central Tumon area. It has direct access to a nice beach section, perfect for those seeking a relaxed vibe while still being close enough to restaurants and shopping (short taxi or walk).The rooms are spacious (around 48㎡), all oceanfront with huge balconies offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and beautiful sunsets. The beds were comfortable, and free WiFi worked well throughout. The outdoor pools with waterslides and kids’ area were a big hit — lots of fun for families.We loved the beachfront BBQ buffet dinner with the fire dance show in the evening; great variety of food (including Japanese options) and entertaining atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent value for a beach resort with great views. Highly recommend Hotel Nikko Guam for a peaceful Guam getaway — we’d happily return!”

The location was perfect for a solo traveller. A close walk to the beach, many restaurants, & a shuttle bus that stops at different shopping malls & other hotels. The room was clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The sink and hand rails are stainless steel, but were full of limescale. Nothing was shiny or polished. I was there for a week & only received housekeeping once. I noticed other guests asking the receptionists to get someone to clean their rooms. The reception staff were friendly, however I asked a member of staff to book me a taxi & luckily I double checked because it wasn't booked. Overall it was a nice hotel, I would stay again because of to the location and spacious room. Also around the pool could use a jet wash the floor was filthy.

Location: Close to the airport, within walking distance of Ipao Beach (though the surrounding area lacks security and safe road maintenance). A car is recommended. It's not easy to coordinate with the operating hours and methods of convenience stores or nearby retail establishments. Room Conditions: Equipped with facilities worthy of a 3-star business hotel, the hotel offers efficient accommodations. The rooms are comfortable and safe (with network access) compared to the familiar hotel facilities. The hotel also offers the latest trendy video equipment (global content for all ages). The receptionist's prompt check-in and personalized service will help ease any awkwardness upon arrival. ☀️ Above all, Guam’s signature wide-open skies and warm sunshine let you truly soak in the feeling of solarity. When I had the chance to ride along Tumon Beach and visit with a small group, I found even more joy by making use of the main facilities like the BBQ area, outdoor pool, and fitness center. There was so much to enjoy—and even more to look forward to!

The hotel's location is one of the best on the island, surrounded by many restaurants and branded stores. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities and all toiletries provided, including a bidet. However, there were some small black flies, and the remote control for the sun shade needed repairing to work properly. Other than that, everything else was good. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of Korean side dishes, probably because there are many Korean guests.

The location was good, as it was near a beach and quite a few restaurants and shops. The service was good, as most of the staff were polite and responded quickly to requests. I did not like the open-style shower, however, as water went everywhere in the bathroom. Plus, there was no working fan in the bathroom either. The biggest problem though was that most of the time there was no hot water in the bathroom at all, making for some very cold showers! At least the room was big and relatively inexpensive.

The hotel was lovely! The customer service was kind and helpful! Despite a minor mishap relating to attention to detail, customer service was able to help resolve the issue quickly and effectively. The pool was honestly the top peak to it all! The views were AMAZING! I went down to the beach and therocks are SHARP and there are sea urchins a distance out so be careful but nonetheless an AMAZING experience and I can’t wait to come back💛

Before arriving, the hotel sent a letter requesting a list of the guests staying at the hotel. Without one, they would have to pay an additional $77.70 per person upon arrival. Fortunately, we were able to communicate with customer service and were able to avoid providing it without any additional charges. However, I was still a little worried about this hotel. Fortunately, everything was great after arriving. The accommodation was very good, but there were only two elevators due to the large number of people staying, and there was no staircase as an alternative. However, the breakfast was rich and varied. Although the weather was affected by the typhoon for two consecutive days, it did not affect the BBQ and beer tasting held in the hotel. It was very warm and relaxing, with complete facilities and services. We had a great time.

The view from the hotel was great! We rented a car, so being on top of a hill wasn't an issue at all. We only walked to Tagada Park, but otherwise, we drove everywhere, so the location wasn't a problem 🚙. The parking lot was spacious, covered, and free, which was a big help. I recommend bringing your own shampoo and body wash as theirs don't lather very well. There was no hand soap, so I used body wash, but it would be useful to have some with you. I assumed the clothes dryer was free because it didn't have a 'paid' sign, but laundry and drying each cost $6.
