Hotels near Wat Patumwanararm, Bangkok

The beds and rooms were clean, but after closing the doors, the signal and 5G reception were very poor, and the Wi-Fi was weak. We had to open the doors to use the internet. The host was friendly and could speak English. The hot water sometimes didn't work, but overall it was fine. The location is near the train station and Pratunam Market, so booking a car might lead to traffic jams; it's better to go to the main road or take a motorbike.

The location is good, very near to shopping district and public transportation. The receptionist is also very accomodating. He allowed all my request such as early check in and late check out. However, he is always out (even during daytime). I kinda think it can be a safety issue. The hotel has no elavators. You have to marathon the stairs up to your floor. Good luck for those in the top most floors. The rooms is okay for the price. It was the least of my concern since I was always outside. In summary, yes, I will still recommend them for the price and location.

Very accommodating to our request. The place is very convenient to Pratunam Market though they don’t have an elevator but nevertheless It was so worth it to stay at this hotel. Hotel located near Platinum Mall inside an alley. Area surrounding Pratunam are mostly under the MRT construction with sidewalk and road side are barricaded to a certain extent. Basic amenities. Booked 2 deluxe twin room but unfortunately no where in the published info that it was mentioned that there is no lift access to this room type and only walk up staircase which are pretty steep. Got the surprise news upon arrival despite message send to hotel to inform travelling with elderly and require lift access few months back. Recovery was made by placing the elderly in a lift accessible floor. But damage is done as families are separately in different floor. Further attempt to salvage the situation was made by the hotel manager Khun Bi for subsequent nights by placing us in deluxe king room to be on same floor with the elderly and following stay returned to no lift zone 1st floor for Deluxe Twin Room and then move back to Deluxe King with lift access. Appreciate her effort but whole matter could have be coordinated better between Trip.com, the agent and the hotel to improve the customer experience considering customer have informed upfront on the must have requirement on lift access. Feedback given on adding that no lift access for Deluxe Twin Room in Trip.com app which have been updated now when select room type to view.

I was really glad I booked this hotel. Aside from the fact that it is cheaper than other hotels, it was near Pratunam market which is why I considered booking it. There is a 500baht deposit but it was immediately refunded after checkout. It also has a daily room cleaning and towels are changed everyday. I requested a room with 2 single beds and it was granted. If I go back to Bangkok, I will definitely book this hotel again.

The beds are comfortable but staying in a plastic capsule in a country where 30C degrees is common makes it incredibly stuffy to sleep in, even with the added fan. There was a weird stench in the hallway and bathroom, couldn’t figure out what it was. While a common room does exist, its on the 6th floor and easy to miss, since there’s no elevator access. For solo travellers on a budget and not looking to meet anyone in the hostel, its an “OK” place to stay.

My stay was fine, but nothing spectacular. The hotel is a bit dated, though everything was functional and clean enough. The best part was the location, which made it easy to explore the area. However, the room felt a little cramped, and the AC was a bit loud at night. It’s a perfectly fine place if you just need a spot to sleep, but don't expect many ”extras.” It gets the job done for a budget stay.

The location is just perfect for first-timers. A 7-11 nearby, a few miles to Pratunam market and Platinum mall. Not busy at night and very peaceful. However, the do get a lot of rules such as no smoking etc which of course is why the room are cleaned. Running water and shower is a bit low. The breakfast didn’t meet my expectation at all. There are a few options but I’d rather buy from 7-11. Other than that, it’s quite a good catch for Bangkok.

Overall, a decent hotel, and for the price, it's an absolute steal. The lack of an in-room toilet is a downside, though. Also, our room was on the 11th floor, but the elevator only went up to the 10th, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up one flight ourselves. Other than that: the room itself was clean (the hallway, not so much), towels were changed daily, and the location is incredibly convenient, which is a huge plus! They asked for a 1000 baht deposit upon check-in, but it was returned without any issues, even though we checked out at 3 AM.

The lo location of Hotel was super convenient and hot area. You can eat , shop and got 7-11 within 100m. Opposite got Thai Dee massage as well that provide good massage with reasonable price . Only minus point is the road very narrow , ypu may need carry your luggage a bit outside to get grab or bolt .
