Hotels near Thonburi, Bangkok

First off, room 401 was incredibly spacious! It had a big bed, a large sofa, and a counter-style vanity table with a big sofa in front of the mirror. The mirror itself was huge, which was great, though I was a bit scared because it faced the bed. But I only stayed one night and didn't experience anything because I was so sleepy and slept deeply. The air conditioner might be old, but it was nice and cool. The door used a key card system. The location might be a bit inconvenient, as it's quite deep and a bit complicated to get to. The staff are foreigners and their welcome was adequate. There's a 1,000 baht key card deposit, but since I didn't have cash, they held onto my ID card instead. Overall, for me, it was good and suitable for the price, just for sleeping over before traveling for business nearby. It's a little over a kilometer from Wongwian Yai BTS station. The blankets and towels were clean.

This hostel offers excellent value for money! I was out exploring and knew I'd arrive half an hour after the latest check-in time. I contacted both the hostel and the platform, and they kindly waited for me for an extra 30 minutes. The staff member was super friendly and even spoke Chinese, making the check-in process smooth and easy ᖰ⌯'▾'⌯ᖳ. Plus, the bed was incredibly clean, and the duvet smelled lovely 😍 I really loved it!😜 The restrooms are on the 3rd floor, with very clear signs. The hostel is right next to a subway station, which is incredibly convenient. And there's a 7-Eleven just a short walk away (about 200-300 meters), making it super easy to grab water, breakfast, and other essentials 😚. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Bangkok!

The accommodation was very clean, the location was great, convenient for getting around, close to tourist attractions and the BTS. The service was good, the staff were friendly, and the facilities were complete. Excellent value for money! 😊

The staff are helpful and friendly. The room layout is weird so open luggage might not be convenient. But still fine for me. The bathroom is so big. Not nearby the happening area but still walkable distance.

The hotel is in a great location a few mins from a main train line with easy access to icon Siam and very easy to get onto the Sukhumvit line. It’s 2 mins to 7/11 and plenty of food places around. It’s down a quiet soi so it’s not noisy. The young lads behind reception are very good and help a lot if needed. The Lady needs to take note of them and learn to not be so cold and stern. Small rooms but very clean and functional.

Amazing place, the best of Thailand. Great location, easy to use BTS or grab bike. Staffs are all so POLITE and RESPECTFUL. 7-11 close by + streets foods + restaurants + bar downstairs!  The hotel is quiet, clean, and really beautiful, all small details are well thought, the cleaner especially is so sweet, and the dog is cute. Very safe, 24 hour security too, I stayed for 4 nights but feel like I could stay for 4 months!

I go to Bangkok every year and have been staying at the Aim from 2019 onwards. Why? Convenient transportation, cleanliness, warm service, and great value for money. This year, however, that feeling has diminished somewhat. I've even considered switching hotels for my next trip to Bangkok. Why the change? The price has been increasing year by year, albeit slightly. The front desk staff were incredibly unenthusiastic and their service attitude was quite poor. They wouldn't help with taxis, stating they only provide transportation services booked through the hotel. They even charged for luggage storage, which I've never heard of before! And staying in a ground-floor room, I actually found cockroaches multiple times. The overall experience has slowly gotten worse. I sincerely hope the hotel can make improvements, otherwise, you'll truly lose your loyal customers.

I don’t typically write reviews but this hotel deserves it! Staffs were very accommodating. Housekeeping is everyday!! I appreciate this one because other hotels are only doing it upon request. Feels so nice to go back seeing the place is clean. We requested for a pool view and they gave us a pool view! Room is very very spacious we can lounge anywhere. I love everything about this hotel and we got it at a super affordable price. Front desk is 24/7. There’s a 7/11 and lawson near the hotel probably less than 200m walk. Downside is that it’s very far from the center but if you live a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, it’s perfect. The elevator button is quiet confusing lol there was one time that we clicked the wrong button for ground floor and we were welcomed by a very very dark floor that looks very creepy bc it was night time and there was no one in it. Turns out it’s under renovation but they shouldve but label on the elevator button to not confuse the guests. This is my second time staying at this hotel, and for the price, it's virtually unbeatable. It fits perfectly into my travel plans. Right outside there's a huge 7-Eleven with everything you could possibly need, even self-serve Thai milk tea, plus many street food stalls for breakfast. I recommend booking a higher floor (5th floor and up) for peace and quiet. The best part is the small balcony where you can smoke. The AC unit is on the balcony, so there's some white noise from it – it's a bit loud but consistent, so it didn't bother me while sleeping, but something to consider. Below the 5th floor, you might encounter small insects, but at this price, I can tolerate it. It’s a 5-minute walk to the BTS Skytrain, specifically the side with an elevator, and it's just two stops to Sathorn Pier for a boat trip on the Chao Phraya River. If you're planning to visit the Maeklong Railway Market, the hotel is a 10-minute walk to Wongwian Yai (sorry, I can't spell the station name) train station. A 10-minute taxi ride south from the hotel gets you to a durian buffet, and a bit further south is the Indy Market. I probably won't be returning to Bangkok as I've seen enough, which is why I'm finally sharing my tips. All in all, it's a five-star review for its price point, no contest. The AC works great, and showering is fine (though you need to bring your own toiletries). The front desk is staffed 24/7, and communication in English is seamless. Dddd
