Pros: Very convenient shower - plenty of space for toiletries, spacious, and with great water pressure. Nice room with a balcony. The air conditioning works very well. Breakfasts are excellent: shrimp, fruits, many chicken dishes, and all meat dishes are clearly labeled by type of meat. The room includes a fridge, kettle, and drinking water. There is a swimming pool and a gym. Convenient access to a large shopping mall. There is also a supermarket and a café on the premises. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back! Cons: The drinking water at breakfast didn’t taste good. The Wi-Fi didn’t work well on the first evening. The towels were very old, grey, and worn out. The bed linen didn’t seem very clean.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would gladly come back again. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable bedding that made it easy to relax after a long day. Lucky to get upgraded! The amenities were impressive—everything was well-maintained and easily accessible. I especially appreciated the little details, like complimentary toiletries and the overall cleanliness of the facilities. The location was also a big plus, conveniently connected to ICS, shops, restaurants, Spa and key attractions, which made getting around very easy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Pros - Breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of options, including vegetarian dishes and great antioxidant smoothies - really outstanding. - The swimming pool area was very pleasant, with plenty of sunbeds both in the shade and in the sun. - Daily housekeeping was consistent, and complimentary bottled water was provided every day. - There is also a hotel-operated boat service that runs on a schedule and takes guests to the other side of the water and back - a very nice and convenient feature. Cons - The check-in process was extremely long (around one hour) due to a staff member named Cathy. We were incorrectly told we needed to pay for additional nights because of a booking issue, which created confusion and stress. The situation was handled inefficiently, with several staff members involved, and even a suggestion to downgrade our room, which felt inappropriate. - Pool supervision was lacking - although jumping is officially prohibited, children were doing it freely without any control, which made it difficult for adults to swim comfortably in the small swimming area. - Room windows could not be opened at all, which made ventilation impossible and uncomfortable. - At breakfast on the outdoor terrace, there were many pigeons, and they were even landing on the tables, which made the experience quite unpleasant. - Before departure, there was also no option to weigh luggage in-room, as the hotel does not provide portable luggage scales. Guests must bring their suitcases down to weigh them at reception, which is quite inconvenient.

I booked a river view room, and the view was absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic sight of the Chao Phraya River's nightscape. The room was clean and tidied daily. Breakfast was a generous spread. Walking out and turning right, it's about a 5-minute stroll to Asiatique The Riverfront. From 10 AM to 8 PM, there's a boat service every hour from the hotel to the Central Pier. From there, you can take another boat for 10 Baht per person directly to ICONSIAM on the opposite bank. For 600 baht a night including breakfast, the value for money is really good.

Quite hard to find at first if you are arriving in a taxi because you will have to walk a short distance to the hotel but once you are at the hotel the lobby and front of hotel is very nice. The room is spacious and has everything you need, the aircon works brilliantly and the beds are comfy. The staff members are polite and happy to help. The view from the rooftop is beautiful and it is in a good location for travellers to get either boat shuttles or if you need to get on the metro line. The only downside i can say I had from my stay at this hotel is that it can be slightly noisy at night with the rooms having thin walls so I was woken up once or twice during my stay but this is nothing a pair of earbuds can’t fix. Overall a great stay at a good price right in the heart of Bangkok, would definitely stay again.

First of all I will say that staying here was one of the highlights of my trip. I was solo traveling and I wanted to spoil myself on the last two nights, and staying at the Amdaeng definitely fit the bill! The location, right on the river, was incredible and I had a view from everywhere in the room. The bathtub was a huge plus after a long day of sightseeing, and the balcony overlooking the river provided a beautiful spot to sit and reflect and have a drink or some food. I will definitely be back to stay a little longer, next time.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in Chinatown. It's a 5-minute walk from the metro station and about a 12-minute walk to the ferry terminal. Given Bangkok's heavy traffic, having access to the metro and ferry is incredibly convenient. The rooms are comparable to economy hotels in China, with rather dated amenities. The breakfast restaurant is on the 14th floor, which is right below the rooftop, where there's a small swimming pool. However, not many guests seemed to use it. The breakfast selection was limited and, honestly, quite ordinary. Since my booking included breakfast, I just made do with what was available.

Great value for money, definitely recommend! The hotel staff are all very enthusiastic. I stayed here years ago and the public facilities are still well-maintained, including the pool. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but they replenish it quickly, which is a big plus. The room, however, wasn't great. It's old and the soundproofing is poor. The air conditioning is mechanical and quite noisy. The shower area in the bathroom is tiny, though the water pressure is good. You can also hear the pipes when other rooms use water. On the first day, they don't provide water, toothbrushes, or slippers in the room. If you don't need daily cleaning, you can ask the cleaning staff for water on the second day. It seems like slippers aren't provided at all. There are very few power outlets in the room, only near the kettle and the TV. Overall, the transportation is convenient. There's a 7-Eleven right at the intersection. It's about a 15-minute walk to IconSiam and a 10-minute walk to BTS S7 station. Along the way, there's a small mall with a KFC, Starbucks, and a small imported supermarket, and you can also find dinner on the upper floors. Walking to BTS S6 station takes about 15 minutes, but you'll need to cross a bridge. The walkway for the bridge is at the end of the path next to the park, by the river. S6 station is Sathorn, which has multiple ferry lines at the pier. There's also a free shuttle boat to the Asiatique Sky Ferris Wheel night market.

My first stop in Bangkok for my business trip to Thailand was this hotel. After landing at the airport, I headed straight here to check in. The front desk staff didn't speak Chinese, which made communication difficult. After a bit of a struggle, I finally got checked in. We went out for a meal, and when we came back to rest in the evening, I found out the hotel didn't provide any disposable amenities. Luckily, I brought my own toothbrush, but the lack of slippers was very inconvenient. The room I stayed in was also very small. We paid extra for breakfast, which was a buffet and pretty decent, but overall, it wasn't great value for money.

Very clean and new hotel. We tried the dimsum at the Chinese restaurant which was not bad. The rooftop bar is also very chill with a nice view and decent promotions. The gym is good enough for a simple workout. General amenities very clean and maintained very well. Staff are very friendly and great service! Amazing experience and easy to get taxi due to the good location.

GGuest UserYou won't find a better value hotel in Bangkok. It's really close to the pier, and you can get to central Asok in just 20 minutes by boat. The hotel is brand new, the gym is well-equipped, and the infinity pool is quite large and absolutely stunning – it uses filtered seawater. Breakfast is also very good. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis is the most complete hostel I've ever been to. There are six floors with several balconies and all of it remains spotless. The common areas are awesome. The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

GGuest UserI was quite anxious when I arrived, as many reviews mentioned the hotel being old and dated. However, after staying for three days, I have to commend this hotel! 1. The lobby is opulent, and 'rich and varied' doesn't even begin to describe the spread at breakfast. 2. The service is exceptional; they are basically ready to help with anything you need. There's always someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, and the front desk and room service are fantastic! When I checked out, they helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than both Grab and Trip.com, costing only 500 Thai Baht (to Don Mueang Airport). 3. The gym is huge, easily over 400 square meters, with all sorts of equipment and dedicated staff. I didn't get to use the pool, but there were lots of kids enjoying it. 4. The hotel's location is convenient, right next to an MRT station. Although it's about 6-7km from the main tourist attractions, for this price, service, and facilities, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Book with confidence! In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, mostly frequented by locals, offering great value for money. If you turn right outside, there's a 'Chinatown' street with all kinds of delicious food.

GGarreth HuntBangkok was the last stop on our trip to Thailand and we booked this hotel as a treat to end our trip given it's 5 star status. We were left very disappointed... The lobby is lovely and is indicative of a high end hotel but that's where it ended unfortunately. The rooms are 3 star at best. We had booked a room with a balcony specifically but the initial room we were given didn't have one. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room with a balcony, however the balcony was surrounded by fans so we had limited views. We were offered another room on our second day with a better balcony but the room itself was smaller so we opted to stay where we were. From what we could see, none of the balconies are great so I would avoid paying the extra for rooms with them. The pool is cold and in need of some work, the grout is coming away in many areas creating sharp edges in spots. Also not 5 star quality. Breakfast was the nicest setup and offering we had seen in Thailand.

GGuest UserOh... it's hard. The hotel is very aesthetic and the first impression is great. Very nice restaurant and bar. The room was equipped with everything you need, including bathrobes and an ironing board. Very comfortable bed. But unfortunately, I already know why there were no photos of the bathroom - it is very small, and the ceiling is probably at a height of 2.20m. And mold/dirty, dingy fugues... that shouldn't happen. Breakfasts are tasty, but not very rich - on the plus side, different dishes are served every day. Several imported products such as Parmesan or Pepperoni. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant situation at the bar, where we were ignored by the staff and the door was closed ahead of time. Honestly, I expected more. It's not a bad hotel, but I won't be going back in the future.

Downside, lots of construction works, so one side of the building is very noisy, it’s also right by the pool so you wouldn’t really want to use the pool and be able to relax. Location is okay, easy to Grab/Bolt everywhere, or 15 min walk to the MRT (the also offer a free shuttle there). We stayed there twice, would stay again.

There's also a connected walkway from the second floor of the adjacent EmSphere mall, so you don't have to walk in the sun. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of food, entertainment, supermarkets, convenience stores, massage places, and malls – very convenient. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери. Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно. Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты. Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку. Плюсы Удобная кровать, по две подушки на человека. Чистое постельное бельё. Ванная комната была чистой, хороший напор воды. В номере есть новый фен, холодильник, посуда и столовые приборы. Есть балкон, выходящий во двор, на котором можно курить. Вежливый и отзывчивый персонал: девушка на ресепшене хорошо говорит по-английски и подробно всё объясняет, горничные также оставили приятное впечатление. Предоставляется гольф-кар трансфер до ближайших торговых центров. Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля. It's true that it's nestled in a quiet alley within a wealthy Sukhumvit neighborhood, so the location itself isn't an issue, and it's suitable for longer stays. It's quite far from tourist attractions, and the alleys in Sukhumvit are winding and don't connect well, which can be troublesome if you're walking. However, I always took taxis, so it was fine. It's a bit of a distance from 7-Eleven. The environment and facilities are definitely up to four-star standards. The security guard was very proactive and responsible. My two points of confusion were: first, upon check-out, the front desk insisted I wait for them to inspect the room before leaving, even though I had already paid a deposit. Second, after the room was cleaned, the hand towels and floor towels were removed, and only one regular towel was left. I don't understand this practice, and in the subsequent days, fewer and fewer towels were left after cleaning.
