"We spent our honeymoon for 5 days at High Tree Resort and would highly recommend this beautiful and peaceful place. We were welcomed with beautiful decorations and a personal handwritten note on the bed. When leaving the hotel, we were given a small treat. Both the ala carte breakfast and dinner was delicious and beautiful presented, with much variety of different food. We had dinner there for 3 nights and really enjoyed the tasteful food and the atmosphere. The pool area was very clean, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very welcoming, smiling and helpful when needed"

"Really beautiful place right on the beach. Several pools. Nice restaurant and amazing breakfast buffet, even for me as a vegan. Our room was nothing special so we spent most of the time at the pool. Many chairs to lie on in the shade. A bit over priced for the Chinese new year holiday. But we really enjoyed it and the staff was very friendly and moved us to a new room after we complained about noisy neighbors. Check-out time is 11am which is a bit early to be honest. But you can still relax by the pool and facilities after checkout."

"Rai Leh Beach Hotel Family Trip Experience This hotel is right on Rai Leh Beach. After disembarking at the pier, it's about 60 meters to the left of the wooden boardwalk to reach the lobby, where check-in was very efficient. The hotel policy states check-in is after 2 PM, but if the room isn't ready, you can store your luggage in the lobby, allowing both adults and children to head to the pool or beach. We arrived around noon, and the waves were quite big at the time. There's a changing room next to the restroom, so after changing into our swimsuits, the kids played in the pool. Our room was ready shortly after, and we checked in smoothly. We were traveling as a family, and the hotel arranged two adjacent 'Sunrise' rooms for us. The connecting door in the middle could be opened, which was incredibly convenient, allowing the kids to move freely between the two rooms. Our rooms were on the first floor, with the balcony directly facing the pool. The hotel has three pools in total: the one next to the lobby has fewer people; the pool near Rai Leh Beach is right by the sand, next to the restaurant, making it very accessible; and another one is in the central part of the hotel, which our room was right next to. We could step straight out onto the pool area from our balcony. The ecological environment here is fantastic. From the balcony, we often saw monkeys rummaging through trash cans for food. We always observed them from a distance, careful not to get too close to avoid them snatching food. Occasionally, lizards would crawl out of the bushes, which we could also observe from afar. We even saw small squirrels, making the natural ambiance truly immersive. It's about a ten-minute walk from the hotel to Phra Nang Beach, one of Rai Leh's most beautiful beaches. Visiting in the afternoon was particularly pleasant. The sand on the beach is fine and gentle, and there aren't many tourists, so children can play in the sand safely. You can even catch small crabs in the seawater. We saw a father and son from China catching quite a few crabs there at the time. We spent a delightful time playing in the water and digging in the sand with our child. The hotel's breakfast offers a rich variety, and dinner can be enjoyed right by the sea, dining with the sea breeze – an excellent experience."

"Really great location, close to the Pier - everything in Railay Beach is within about 10-20 minutes walk, from one side of the ”island” to the other, but being close to the Pier is good when you have to carry luggage. Big rooms, quiet resort, no children of course. One tip - dont try to check in early... even in low season where there was maybe 5 other rooms booked, they still made us wait until 2pm to go into our room. They do have an air conditioned waiting area, and even though out room was ready we still had to wait which was a shame. Also, the bar doesn't open until 3pm, so we couldn't buy a drink here while waiting. Aside from this, breakfast was pretty tasty, but minimal options. Still glad we booked with breakfast as most things aren't open until later in the day. Great place to stay for a couple of days, but next time I'd probably just visit Railay as a day trip from Ao Nang."

"The hotel staff were tremendous and a definite asset. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning yoga sessions we attended with Sasha, who ensured an inclusive session for all levels. In a lovely setting and away from it all but you will need to taxi, or use shuttle to get anywhere. There is a small bar just outside hotel - left as you exit - ran by a couple of local brothers. It’s worth a visit definitely. I get it’s an Eco Hotel and independent but many of the hotel facilities are not what you would expect of a 5 star: gym is very rudimentary and some of kit, not in great nick; the rooms - we had a swim up suite - were quite dated furniture-wise and showing signs of extended wear and tear for instance The wi-fi for us was non-existent in room, and very hit and miss (mostly miss) in and around pool area. I’d imagine this might be a big issue for young families… The breakfast was fine, as was the rooftop bar food. In summary a pleasant enough stay, but not sure it was value for money at the price, and not comparable really to hotels we’d stayed at beforehand and since on this trip. I’d say a four star at best…"

"Really beautiful place. What a nice find. Our room is amazing and big and new. Great breakfast. Nice pool, but they could put more chairs there to lie on. No alcohol is served on the property but you can bring your own. Beautiful places to walk. Can also kayak in the lagoon. Many daily activities (some free). Also a free ride to Railay beach if you want. We loved our stay here. Check out is just a bit too early, 11am."

"The hotel is really good. The rooms are very clean and the staff is excellent. The location is also great if you rent a scooter. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't usable during our stay, and I only found out about it upon arrival. Also, the Wi-Fi signal is very weak, which is a shame because everything else is great. +1 for the view from the room"

"Hotel provide shuttle van to AO NANG beach need advance 1 hour to prebook. We had advance 2 hour prebook but it state it is fully booked. The hotel so big shuttle bus is 2 hour per trip but only provide 1 van for guest first come first serve it means only few room guest can have this service and the hotel walk out route is far to beach more than 1.5km"

"The staff were so incredibly helpful. I left my luggage there and stayed elsewhere because the rooms were full, and the staff really looked after it. The breakfast was also good. Great value for money, definitely exceeded expectations!"
