"Room is big and bed is soft. Water heater is good. The air con has some noise… Tok Tok Tok 8 times, after every few seconds, the toking sound will start again. I found out is the blinds of the air con movement that caused the sound. Once I stop the movement. The sound went away. Breakfast is simple. Hotel has a pool, a gym and a koi pond. Overall the hotel is nice structure. But no lift. The lift is for luggages only.
On my 2nd night, the housekeeping forgotten to put towels in my room. I only realised during my shower. OMG. Luckily my wife is in the room. So she managed to call reception to bring towels for us."
"The hostel is very close to the bus station. They offer free bike rentals, which is convenient for exploring the city. The dorm rooms are a bit of a shock at first glance, but they're very comfortable. Everything is super clean. The city is definitely worth a visit."
"The accommodation is very clean and peaceful. I feel safe when I sleep. Most importantly, the owner is handsome too. Suitable for single women who want a safe accommodation 🙏 Next round to visit Nan for sure to patronize again 🚴♀️"
"The hotel near the bus terminal is within walking distance or accessible via Line Man. The staff are polite and very helpful with recommendations. The rooms are clean, and overall, it’s a great place to stay."
"The room was large with plenty of usable space. Initially, we were assigned a room on the second floor, but since we were traveling with elderly people, it wasn't convenient. We spoke with the staff and were able to change to a room on the first floor. The staff were very helpful and lived in the building next door, able to assist us immediately."
"Awesome! Hotel opened a few months ago, so everything is brand new. Spacious rooms with modern facilities, excellent air conditioning, huge, Google TV equpped screen, super comfortable beds. Located literally 500 meters from the center of the action, clean, quiet, safe, wih wonderfull staff, welcoming guests how only Thai people do. Excellent value for money!
I could go on but I'll finish with this: if you're coming to beautiful Nan, don't look for any other accommodation - you will thank me for this recommendation!"
"It's a very old building with a peculiar layout inside. It's very close to the wet market and food street, so its location is definitely a plus. However, the decor is quite basic, and it uses old-fashioned keys to open the doors. The room allocation method is really strange; we booked the same room type for three rooms, but each one was a different size."
"👍 Pros
• Clean & Modern: Brand‑new, spotless rooms with crisp linens and efficient air‑conditioning.
• Friendly Staff: Highly rated for warm, helpful service at reception and in the lobby.
• Great Value: Budget‑friendly with typical rates starting around 700 THB/night, offering solid amenities for the price.
• Convenient Location: Close to the airport and central Nan, with free parking and walkable access to nearby restaurants and bars.
👎 Cons
• Small Rooms: Compact room sizes noted (“room a little small”)—adequate but tight.
• Noise Nearby: Some light noise from nearby nightlife, though rooms are well‑insulated so it’s not disruptive.
• No Breakfast or Shuttle: No on‑site restaurant or airport shuttle; guests rely on self‑service coffee/tea in lobby."

Outstanding
GGuest UserGood location within walking distance to the night market and other beautiful temples. There are many shops selling food, cafes, and 7-11 as well. The bus terminal is less than 10-minutes' ride away. The lodging has a rustic feel to it and is very peaceful. Shower gel and shampoo are provided. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserNo food taken.
Told them that I had booked already, 3 rooms.
She then took 500baht per room as deposit and another 100baht for 3 keys.
So In total I gave her 1800baht.
Turns out to be just a small communications problem.
Allsorted out in the morning.
Rooms ard very basic but very good value gor the price.
It would have been much cheaper to have just gone to the hotel directly, and I had a new customer discount aswell.
KKZ21Scene Private Hostel is a beautiful and clean hostel at an affordable price. It is conveniently located near the local community, making it easy to find food and explore the area. The hostel is also not far from the airport, adding to its convenience for travelers.
However, this place is best suited for solo travelers with minimal luggage, as it does not have an elevator. This makes it less ideal for elderly guests or those with heavy baggage. Aside from that, everything else is great, making it a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a comfortable stay in Nan.
GGuest UserI must say that this is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at. It is beautiful, clean, and fully equipped with amenities. The bedroom is spacious, divided into a TV room, but there is also a TV in the bedroom. There are lights everywhere that should be there. There are 2 types of pillows to choose from, both soft and thick, to accommodate everyone's preferences. In the bathroom, there are shower cream, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion, which is not often seen in general hotels. Breakfast is a set with a variety to choose from. The cutest thing is the dessert, which is beautifully crafted. The location of the hotel is next to Wat Phumin and the walking street. You can walk through the temple's gate in just a few steps. It's a pity that I only stayed one night because I had to travel on. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back to stay here again.
GGuest UserThe hotel and room were excellent. My room was large and comfortable, stylish and the hotel has great art around. My only disappointment was breakfast which for a vegetarian was an over-runny white egg on commercial white toast. The hotel kindly refunded me the 50 baht. With a better breakfast- fresh coffee, fruit, good bread, maybe muesli and yoghurt this would be much better.
JJeanerationThe atmosphere is very good. Although it is a greenhouse Not small, not big But the area is suitable The view of the rice fields is really hearty. If you want a view like this, you must come during the rainy season. August-October, sleep in the stars, listen to the sound of the rain. There is a corner of the bathtub that is the most satisfying. There may be some insects. But sleep well all night (The cat is very cute)
GGuest UserVery nice room in a pleasant garden. The staff were friendly, the place was clean but it is on the edge of town. I walked into town and it took 45 minutes. But mostly I used motorcycle taxis. The shower was lukewarm. Breakfast on the first day was delicious but on the second when it was a buffet was unbeatable. There was no swimming pool. But it is good value
FFoo Sze WongThis place was about the best location located near the river. Parking within the compound was a bit tight but ample. Room was decent with clean bed sheets and pillow cases. Air con was old and a bit noisy but cold enough. We got a big king size bed and quite happy with it. Bathroom was a bit cramp but quite clean. No complains here. Breakfast was simple, with rice porridge and hardboiled eggs, and slice bread with strawberry jam and margarine. No butter. And make your own coffee.
GGuest UserGood location, friendly service, and affordable price. The room is centrally air-conditioned, clean and comfortable. It also provides a clean and free outdoor swimming pool, making it a good place to stay when traveling.
