"This hotel is centrally located, very convenient to the MRT and bus stops, making it easy to get around even on foot. As it's surrounded by several academies, it's a paradise for young people with plenty of shopping malls and restaurants. The rooms have basic amenities, but they are thoughtfully designed, such as the hot water dispenser in the room, and shared irons, ironing boards, fridges, and microwaves on each floor. There are also coin-operated laundry facilities, which are very useful given Singapore's hot weather. The laundry room is connected to the gym, a nice touch so you can work out while waiting. For short stays, they don't clean the room daily. The air conditioning is excellent. The bathroom, however, doesn't have a wet/dry separation."

"The only good thing about this hotel is its location, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. However, the downsides are numerous. The room is incredibly small, definitely not as good as an economy hotel in China. The bathroom is so tiny that you have to turn sideways just to get in and out. I can't understand how it got a 4-star rating on Ctrip. The breakfast is not even worth mentioning; there's just a small selection of food, without even basic items like fried eggs or sausages. It seems to attract a lot of tourists daily, probably because it's cheap. The lobby is chaotic every day, with people filling up the sofas, and a few women even spreading their belongings all over a table. I definitely won't consider staying here again. It's probably only suitable for backpackers or students."

"The room is tiny, really tiny. Once the door is closed, and you open a 26-inch suitcase, there's no room to walk. You can fit a 20-inch suitcase on the table, but a 28-inch one would definitely have to go on the bed. However, the location is excellent! Turn right out of the hotel, and in less than 50 meters, maybe even just 30 meters, you're at Bencoolen MRT Station Exit A. Super convenient for getting around, thumbs up, it's truly fantastic! The front desk has a lady who speaks Chinese."

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at ibis Bencoolen. The check-in process was smooth and very convenient, and the reception staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is also a strong plus point. It is within comfortable walking distance to Bugis MRT station and Bugis Market, making it very convenient for food, shopping, and getting around Singapore. One thing we really enjoyed was the bed — it was extremely comfortable and we slept very well every night. The room was also clean and well-maintained. The main downside for us was the room size. We booked the 3-bed room, and it felt extremely compact with very limited space to move around. We had to place our luggage underneath the beds just to create some walking space. At times, it honestly felt a little like living inside a box. That said, for travelers who prioritize convenience, cleanliness, and a comfortable bed over room size, this hotel is still a good option in a great location."

"Glad to be offered the allocated room type. Spacious. Water pressure was good. Bed was comfortable. Preferably more hooks can be available to hang towels in the bathroom considering the room was meant for more guests. Good sound proofing when there is construction work can be seen just outside the room window. Friendly staff. Did not quite expect that there is no swimming facility. Limited breakfast buffet items. Compact buffet area. Unique masala omelette item available at the egg live station. Spring rolls remain crispy. Black tea in jug available was strong and good with fresh milk. Only thousand island dressing was available for garden salad. Could consider offering other dressings eg. olive oil or balsamic dressing. Slightly salted butter was available instead of unsalted. For breakfasts over 2 days, sautéed vegetables were cauliflower & broccoli respectively."

"The location was perfect for me, it was near to most places I wanted to go especially to Merlion Park which was around 15-20 mins of leisure walking. I did my morning walk around the park through Marina Bay sands and thought it was great that I could just walk there. It was also near to Bugis Junction where I did a quick run. Staff was really helpful, when I arrived the staff quickly asked if there was any food I wanted to try and gave me a nice recommendation. Also I was looking to use an iron but it was not placed in the designated area, I put in my request in the WhatsApp community chat and was tended to immediately and was provided with an iron and the board to my room. Lovely staff and location, looking forward to coming here again! Also the deck was nice too, I enjoyed my morning coffee there 😀"

"【Room】The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped, new, and clean – really good! Having a direct drinking water tap in the room is super convenient. My only minor complaint is the limited TV channels. 【Travel】Being able to hail a taxi directly from the B1 level is fantastic, especially when it's raining – a big plus! 【Breakfast】The breakfast spread is comprehensive and delicious; I didn't get bored of it even after having it daily. There are plenty of seats, and I particularly loved the spots with a view of the pool! (Just try to avoid peak breakfast times, maybe an hour before closing? Going earlier is much more pleasant.) 【Service】The staff are all great, and some even offer Chinese language service. Housekeeping is done daily upon request. 【Late Check-out】You can arrange for a late check-out until 1 PM with the front desk. 【Food Delivery】You can order food delivery to the front desk and pick it up yourself. 【Value for Money】After comparing various options, this hotel offers excellent value for money in Singapore!"

"Private space but thin walls. Noise from other guests along the corridor can be heard. Although listed as newly renovated, the fixtures are far from new. The location is very convenient. Next to MRT station, bus stop and lots of shops and eateries."

"The location is excellent, right in the city center, just 100 meters from Bencoolen MRT station, making it very convenient for visiting attractions and Orchard Road. There are plenty of dining options nearby, making it perfect for short tourist stays. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the housekeeping staff are diligent and responsible. The hotel front desk and lobby staff are all very friendly, greeting us every time we came and went. We were also able to store our luggage after check-out. There's a public coin-operated laundry and drying service on the 2nd floor, starting from S$11. I particularly want to commend Ms. Jeanette at the front desk. Our flight was delayed, and we checked in past 2 AM, but she remained incredibly kind and approachable. When we checked out, she thoughtfully gave us the best direct MRT route to Changi Airport. Thank you! This hotel is highly recommended for short trips to Singapore. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance."

"Had a great stay at Hotel Boss! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The swimming pool was a nice bonus — big enough for a proper swim. Best of all, the hotel is conveniently located near MRT stations and popular tourist spots, making it easy to explore Singapore. Highly recommend!"
