LLuis LuOverall satisfactory, but the duplex is actually very inconvenient. You have to go downstairs to go to the toilet at night; but the location is excellent, the Winter Palace, the Blood Cathedral, and Nevsky Street are all walking.

Almost everything is within walking distance. The decor and amenities are excellent, with beautiful architecture and décor. The toiletries provided in the room are also good. Highly recommended.

Choosing the right hotel was crucial for my trip to St. Petersburg! Helen Hotel truly exceeded my expectations and deserves a five-star recommendation!
📍 Prime Location, Within Walking Distance of Attractions
Located in a historic building in the city center, it's about a 500-meter walk to St. Isaac's Cathedral, 700 meters to the Winter Palace, and close to the Admiralty Headquarters. A shopping street is right outside, with restaurants, supermarkets, and chocolate shops. Admiralteyskaya metro station is just 350 meters away—super convenient for getting around!
🛏️ Clean and Elegant Room, I Slept Absolutely!
The neoclassical decor is very stylish, the space is spacious, and the natural light is excellent. The bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is superb. The room was spotless, with a separate shower and toilet and plenty of hot water. The toiletries smelled wonderful, and the room was cleaned promptly every day—perfect attention to detail.
👩💼 Friendly Service, Fluent English
The front desk staff speaks excellent English, are enthusiastic and efficient. Arriving early, they proactively helped with check-in and patiently provided maps and restaurant recommendations. The bellhops were helpful, and the 24-hour front desk was always responsive, making me feel very safe.
🍳 The breakfast was plentiful and catered to Asian tastes. The breakfast restaurant had an elegant ambiance and offered both Chinese and Western options: freshly ground coffee, fresh bread, sausages and bacon, roasted mushrooms, fruit, pure fruit juice, and creamy milk. The variety was extensive and the food was delicious, giving me a great start to each day.
✨ Summary: A high-value four-star hotel in downtown St. Petersburg: excellent location, new rooms, warm service, and a fantastic breakfast. A worry-free and comfortable stay in St. Petersburg, I'll definitely choose it again next time!

I frequently visit Russia and often stay at this hotel. This time, I took advantage of my vacation to see the Northern Lights. Even though Murmansk hadn't seen any snow yet, I was delighted to see the aurora borealis.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right on Nevsky Avenue, just around the corner from Kazan Cathedral and the House of Books. It's also within a kilometer's walk to attractions like the Hermitage and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. The only downside is that the facade is currently undergoing renovation. It seems the government is taking advantage of the April off-season to renovate many buildings, as several churches also had scaffolding up. Because of the renovation, the air conditioning isn't working and won't be until the latter half of the year, so if you're planning to stay in the hot summer months, you might want to reconsider. When we stayed in April, it was still cold, and the heating was on. The hairdryer in my room was broken, but I contacted the front desk, and they promptly sent a new one, which resolved the issue. The front desk staff spoke English and were quite friendly (Russians aren't typically known for smiling much, haha). I didn't take any photos of the hotel, so I'll just share some pictures of the sights instead.

NNartanoCozy small hotel in Vosstaniya Square, which makes it very easy to access the metro network, or walk down Nevskiy Prospekt.
Dis not try the restaurant as the prices were quite high, but the room itself was comfortable and cleaned/made everyday.
Personnel was friendly, please note only the younger staff members speak a good English.
I suggest not bringing your luggage to the reception when checking in, as the elevator is on the very bottom floor.
All in all I would be happy to recommend its quality/price ratio if one is not after luxury amenities.

AANUBHAV2386We stayed for 3 nights in Saint Petersburg. So 1) location: The hotel is in a quiet locality and is almost unrecognizable. Does not look like a hotel from the outside 2) Staff support: The staff speaks minimal english 3) Service: The hotel does not have breakfast or a restaurant, but there are restaurants and cafes within walking distance (10 minutes), so workable; and the elevator makes quite a noise, but it's workable/safe. 4) Overall experience: Bad - Mediocre: No one helps you out with the luggage, even when they see you are struggling. I am not sure if that is the norm here in Russia. no courtesy, no support/ no extra help for any sort. I guess kindness is chargeable in Russia. Not just this hotel, every hotel we stayed in Russia, I saw no one helping families or even asking for help. Just cold, transactional behavior.

AAnonymous UserVery clean hotel and pretty good location, friendly staff. I arrived early at the hotel, but since they had a free room, they let me in at 12pm. I was grateful for that. The room is clean enough. The cooler with a water is located near the reception( has hot and cold water). They also have a restaurant with breakfast, lunch and dinner (quite a lot of people were there). Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try, but ... I think that people went there for a reason, and most likely they offer decent food, which they cook themselves. For that kind of money, I think it's a very good option.
I want to note that the sound insulation between the rooms is not very good.

KKumnataVery enjoyed the Trauberg Hotel!!! First, it is located next to the Gorkovsky metro station, the tram and bus station as well.in the second almost in the same house and to it the most delicious, with excellent service and (price= quality) cafes, restaurants and bakery. The hotel itself is a visit once in a residential house, on each floor 3 rooms on the right and 3 on the left, floor 5. All hotel is very clean, on the recipes of a pleasant and friendly staff. The room itself (we got on the 5th floor(no elevator!!)) Inside- modern repair and furniture, and a sleek. There is a closet+slippers; mini-refrigerator, tv, microwave, teapot. Welcome tea, coffee for 2 packets; shampoo, gel d/d, toothbrush . There were 7 days no longer replenished. Bed 2bedroom with a comfortable mattress and good clothing, towels clean(but also not once changed!!!it is strange). Cleaned every day. Did down 1 star for service and cleanliness, according to the above facts. Ah yes the hotel offers a custom breakfast 600 with a person, I think it is not worth such money, around so much delicious and atmospheric places that for this money it is definitely possible to refresh breakfast.
