"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tejo. The staff made the experience truly memorable Magdalena was especially kind and very accommodating throughout my visit, always ready to help with a warm and welcoming attitude. I also appreciated Loraine’s thoughtful gesture of giving me a Coke as a gift, which was a simple but very nice touch of hospitality. Overall, the service felt personal and genuine, and it made my stay comfortable and enjoyable."

"Hotel Convento do Salvador was a pleasant surprise. Located in the Alfama district, within walking distance of the historic sites, it was light and bright and clean and safe. When traveling to unfamiliar places and especially if people dont speak the native language  it can be overwhelming. The staff were.very kind, friendly and helpful. Every part of the hotel was super clean and new. I slept fitfully in my quiet room with balcony doors open for fresh air. Breakfast buffet was simple, fresh and delicious. I would stay again without hesitation."

"Very very nice hotel, easy to find with an incredible view of the city! Very close to one of the viewpoints with the best view of Lisbon! The staff was attentive, we asked for a surprise for Valentine's Day, for a small price we were entitled to roses and wine as well as a late check out. Everything was very nice, complete breakfast!"

"Extremely convenient location, walking distance to the historical center and main train station. Walkable distance to all historical-city center sights up and down the hill. Rooms were basic, yet clean and has all the basic fixed-amenities. But that was more than made up for by the excellent service and location. I've had an important delivery that I needed for work to the hotel, and the hotel staff were very helpful in tracking down the order and gave me instant update once the package has arrived."

"I spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts: PROS: - Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport. - Nice decors and overall pretty clean. CONS: - The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room. - Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer."

"Very beautiful boutique hotel. The room is quite small for two big luggage’s 😅 But the room is so elegant and well decorated. The breakfast is very delicious. Strongly recommend."

"Pros - location, right in the center of the square, walking distance to main sights and tram stop. Room is clean albeit on the small side. Suitable for single traveler without too much luggage. Spread of choices for breakfast is great. Cons - only a small inconvenience. Ubers cannot stop directly in front of the hotel. Be prepared to drag your suitcase a small distance from the squareor choose nearby street instead as drop off spot."

"Unfortunately, the showerhead in our original room was faulty, so we had to leave that view room. The front desk staff were very helpful and immediately sent someone to fix it, but since it couldn't be fixed right away, they had to let us change rooms. We really loved our original room, but the new one was nice too. The only minor drawback is the lack of an elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up or down one or two floors. The room was really spacious, and the view from the window was fantastic. Most importantly, we could easily take a tram right outside, and the nearby cafe was great too. The location was really convenient."

"I regret booking this hostel immediately after enter the room. Room is too small and air circulation is not good. Not enough spaces to place personal belongings. I booked here based on the high reviews score but I think it is overrated. I hurt myself when I squat down to close the metal drawer. It has some sharp edges. Breakfast is okay if it’s is included in the booking. If buy it separately at 9 Euro it’s overpriced."

"The hotel was located in centre of Lisbon which provided easy access to all attractions. There were great restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this great hotel."
