"Excellent! Located in the city center, convenient for shopping, though a bit of a walk from the train station. There are also good Chinese restaurants nearby. All the hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean, especially the handsome concierge and the stunningly beautiful receptionist. At breakfast, a very kind Asian lady was incredibly attentive, respecting the elderly and caring for the young. She always made a point of asking if we wanted anything special, like egg rolls, which warmed my heart. Kindness is always rewarded. The hotel seems to frequently host DJ performances on the first floor; the place is always packed, creating a lively atmosphere."

"Stayed for three nights to explore Oslo, small rooms but that didn't matter as the room was just for sleeping. Comfortable beds and all very clean as one would expect in Norway. Excellent value £40 per person per night. Rather eccentric interior design. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't have breakfast there as there is a lovely bakery 'Erketunet Gardsbakeri' one block away. The hotel is in a good location for the museums, opera house, trams and ferries."

"Convenient location, easy walk to national museum, Akershus Fortress, Oslo Opera House, Deichman, Munch etc. Has a convenient store and pharmacy right next to the hotel. Excellent breakfast at 6:30am weekdays and 8am weekends. Quite helpful with porter service as we were taking the Norway in a Nutshell self guided tour. Make sure to bring adhesive tape to affix the tag for the porter service or ask the desk for tape. Get off at National Theatre station if taking the airport train. Short walk along the park towards Rosenkrantz Gate."

"Although the hotel has a factory-like feel due to its numerous rooms, it truly offers excellent services and facilities for its guests. The building seemed a bit old, but the facilities and rooms were clean! Having a communal kitchen on the first floor made it convenient to eat outside food. They also have luggage storage, and it was easy to leave our bags at the office when going on the Nussel tour. The friendliness of the office staff varied from person to person. The elevator was a bit small. Oh, and even though it was summer, the indoor temperature was a bit chilly, so I slept with my jacket on. Nevertheless, I was satisfied."

"Facilities: This is a chain hotel, very good. It's a prominent black high-rise building, and the shuttle bus to and from Oslo Airport stops right at the entrance. Cleanliness: Clean and hygienic. Environment: Central location, very close to the cruise terminal and City Hall. Service: Good, with a 24-hour front desk."

"This is a great hotel to stay at on your trip to Bergen. The hotel has a fantastic location close to the water front and an easy walk to the tram, shopping, restaurants, among the many attractions. There are so many different places to eat and a wide variety of food to chose from. The hotel is staffed by very nice people who speak a variety of languages. There is free coffee and tea around the corner from the reception, and they have a small reception area with some seating to you can get a drink or just wait for friends to come down to the lobby. The breakfast, which opens at 6:30 is a dream! One of the best breakfasts I have seen in many years of traveling. The room are good sized, but that obvious depends on what you ask/pay for. We enjoyed out stay here immensely!"

"A family of three stayed in a family room on the 5th floor. The room was a bit cramped, but its location on Karl Johans Gate was excellent, about a 10-minute walk from the central station. Breakfast was good, and if you couldn't make it to breakfast, the front desk would thoughtfully arrange a convenient breakfast for you to take away if informed in advance."

"Located on Karl Johans Gate, this historic hotel boasts an excellent location within walking distance of the Royal Palace and major tourist attractions. The dignified atmosphere and tranquil rooms made for a comfortable stay in Oslo. The breakfast also offered a wide variety of options, making this a highly satisfying hotel."

"The hotel's location is good and convenient. Although the room isn't large, it's clean and functional, which was acceptable. I arrived in Oslo a day early, excited for my Silver Sea Arctic cruise, and planned to extend my stay at the hotel for one night after the cruise. When checking in, I specifically mentioned that the cruise company had already booked a room for the following night and asked if I could stay in the same room to avoid switching. The receptionist checked and confirmed that they had specially arranged for me to stay in the same room, and I would just need to renew my key the next day. I was very pleased, thinking the hotel's service was thoughtful and human. However, the next morning when I went to the front desk to renew my key, I was told that if I wanted to continue my stay, I'd have to pay an additional 500 NOK! The hotel management's policy changed so suddenly; I believe their service greatly needs improvement. I also have an extended stay for one night on my return trip. I wonder if they'll try to make me switch rooms or upgrade then?! Very dissatisfied. Also, the bed wasn't very big, and the breakfast chef was very unfriendly."

"The hotel is a bit old, but it's still very clean. The breakfast is fantastic, with a great variety of milks, chocolate milk, juices, and even brown goat cheese. The only downside is that I wouldn't recommend it if you're driving, as parking in the city center is really expensive. If you do drive, make sure to check in before 12 PM, as the hotel's contracted parking garage only allows entry before then."
