Hotels near Houseboat Museum, Amsterdam

The location was convenient and it was well cleaned, the staff was friendly and free coffee and tea available all day. Most amenities available. The mattress however was really soft and sunken in. Also, across the street is a bar where people stand outside and make noise until deep in the night. Even with the window closed, it’s still loud. I requested a quiet room but it wasn’t quiet at all.

Great service in this beautiful canal facing hotel. It’s a very old building so be prepared for the steep staircase! The service was good with free coffee and tea in the reception area along with maps. Staff are friendly

Simple clean hotel , perfect if you just need a place to sleep . Great location . Comfortable beds

It was good. First time in Amsterdam and nothing much to complain about.. the Italian lady at the reception was very helpful. The hotel only had a lift to first floor and with heavy baggage, going one up wasn’t overly convenient. Did not have breakfast, though there is a nice street market and a food court in the area. Lots of different things to do and quite central from/to anywhere..

It's a rip off. I had to pay 49 euros for a room for three nights. The room is too small, only 7 to 8 square meters, including the toilet. There is a beetle on the wall that looks like a bedbug. But the surrounding environment is very convenient. It's a luxury brand street 20 meters away. Another 100 meters away is the museum area. There is a seafood restaurant nearby that is very delicious.

This place is really fun, totally different from a standard stay. The room was small, with not much space to move around besides the bed, but it was worth the experience.

Location is close enough to city centre to enjoy attractions in the Museum Quarter, Anne Frank Haus vicinity & the eating places of Jordaan on foot. Be prepared for a typical Amsterdam narrow house with small rooms and steep staircases, otherwise very clean. Considering prices of all hotels In Amsterdam, this covers all our needs.

The location is great, right in downtown and very convenient walking around in the center of Amsterdam. Room was especially small, not a big hotel, think they gave me their smallest room with a view of the internal air-well in the basement. The room was not even big enough to open up my luggage completely so I had to unpack out a few clothing as I was staying there for a few nights and luckily able to store my closed luggage beneath the bed. Toilet was small but looked as if it was recently upgraded in the last few years, it looked fairly new although there were some drain flies flying around in the toilet and could have been cleaned or exterminated better. Bed was surprisingly a double for such a small room and was comfortable enough. I had an issue with the receptionist opening my room door without knocking at all while I was stark naked and about to head into the toilet for a shower. Did not think that it was professional no matter the reason for doing so - apparently she was confused and open up the wrong door. Knocking on door and waiting for an answer should be a universal practice by all hospitality staff across any hospitality properties. Room was expensive for the size but it was centrally located and comfortable enough.

I already knew this hotel, which is why I returned, but there are ongoing renovations, and it wasn't ideal to wake up to the sounds of workers at 8:30 AM. Furthermore, the building is under renovation, so the windows face scaffolding. The cleanliness wasn't as impeccable as previous stays, but it remains a top choice due to its location and spacious rooms.

Very disappointing stay. We were given a room in the loft which was extremely small and nothing like the photos shown on the hotel’s website. The pictures were clearly misleading and gave the impression of a much larger, more comfortable room. The low ceiling and cramped space made it feel uncomfortable and not suitable for a proper stay. Overall, the room did not match what was advertised, and I would not have booked if the reality had been shown honestly.
