"We were very satisfied with our stay at DeHome Boutique Hotel. The hotel's location is super convenient, not far from the main attractions in Kuching city, making it very easy to get around. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with comfortable space and soft beds, ensuring our whole family got a good rest.
The hotel staff were very helpful, friendly, and polite, which made us feel very welcome. The overall environment was quiet, and the facilities were well-maintained.
What impressed us most was the excellent value for money. To enjoy such a high-quality stay at this price is truly commendable. We'll definitely choose DeHome Boutique Hotel again on our next trip to Kuching. Thank you to the hotel team for providing such wonderful service!"
"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at HGCK and was very happy with the overall experience. The hotel was comfortable, the service was excellent, and everything met my expectations. If I return to Kuching for another holiday, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended!"
"As a family traveller, Tune Hotel Kuching Waterfront is a great choice. The location is excellent, close to the Kuching Waterfront and many eateries. Amenities are simple but clean and comfortable. Nearby attractions include the Main Bazaar, Carpenter Street, and Sarawak Museum, making sightseeing easy and enjoyable for families."
"They do have lockers as shown in my picture, which is very important in my mind. It’s just you needed to bring your own lock. It has been improved a lot in cleanliness compared to the review one-two years ago."
"Second time book and stay this hotel, very clean, staff very nice will help you to store luggage if you check in earlier, location is good nearby Chinatown and waterfront"
"The front desk service was excellent. I had an appointment outside and was unable to return to the hotel before the check-out time. The staff kindly kept my luggage safely at the lobby until I returned later to collect it. I really appreciated their helpful and accommodating service."
"Great experience overall. The service was excellent – staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout the stay. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable for families. Everything was convenient and easy to access."
"This is an older, established hotel located in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak in East Malaysia, right on the waterfront of the Kuching River. It's surrounded by several other star-rated hotels, including three international chain hotels. I had a layover in Singapore and arrived in Kuching at night, so I booked this hotel for one night as a stopover.
While the hotel is a bit old, the room environment was decent. The breakfast was a 'Western-style' breakfast, so it was quite simple. The same building as the hotel houses offices, including the Brunei consulate and a 7-Eleven. There's also a McDonald's just diagonally across from the hotel."
"This was my second time staying here. I booked again because it's quite affordable, and I thought it might be one of the few places in this price range with an elevator. Last time, there were some mold stains or possibly mold on the sheets, but this time, I didn't notice any mold stains. The bath towels still have a slight musty smell (like they weren't dried properly).
While there are a few minor issues if you look closely, considering the price, it's still a great option. The free washing machine and dryer are appealing, but the dryer isn't very efficient; clothes dry better if air-dried in the room.
I also tried the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. It wasn't very busy, which made it a relaxing experience. It's open from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM."
"really nice, perhaps will be my go to hotel whenever i go to kch. location is really strategic and ember cafe downstairs is really amazing. keep in mind if you got the windowless room, always keep track of time 😂"

Amazing
SSerene_lanThe hotel ambiance exudes old-money charm. During my stay, I even had the pleasure of seeing their Sultan King. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is excellent, said to be in the best 'feng shui' spot, feeling grand and impressive. It directly faces the river, and in the evenings, it's very convenient to stroll along the riverside to Marina Bay Sands. The only issue was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling when I checked in, but it was resolved after I reported it. Later that night, I discovered the shower gel dispenser was nearly empty, and no product would come out. Then, the shower drain clogged, quickly flooding the entire bathroom during my quick shower. The hotel does show some signs of aging facilities, but everything else was great.
GGuest UserMy stay at Sheraton Kuching Hotel was both comfortable and refined. The room was spacious, immaculately maintained, and designed with thoughtful details that created a sense of calm and ease. The service was consistently professional and gracious, reflecting a high standard of hospitality. From arrival to departure, the atmosphere felt polished yet welcoming, making the stay truly relaxing. A well appointed hotel that offers a seamless and enjoyable experience . The hotel is nearby at eatery area like Top Spot Seafood restaurant and nearby Waterfront. I would gladly return.
AAaronW31The hotel is quite new, and very close to the airport. The buffet breakfast is good. However, it seems the staff were not familiar with the system so the check-in took a long time. Besides, there were renovation noises at 8-9am in the morning upstairs which was a bit disturbing. Lastly, it can take a long time for deposits refund (3 days already and I haven’t received it)
AAnonymous UserMy stay was disappointing. The room was very hot when I arrived and remained uncomfortable, definitely not ideal in warm weather. The surroundings and ventilation need improvement. The toilet was dirty, and the sliding door did not close properly it hung awkwardly over the rim. I have to do it myself to make it inside the rim so it can slide better. Breakfast was okay only and not attractive. They mentioned a tablet would be provided, but it wasn’t. Also, no one answered the contact number for inquiries. I expected much better for the price. Overall, this place is only for Instagrammable.
GGuest UserWe had a lovely 3D2N mother-daughter and intergenerational friends’ stay at Cove 55, Santubong, and it was exactly the sort of peaceful break we were looking for. The grounds are beautiful and very calming, with a real sense of tranquility and serenity. The staff were lovely — warm, attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Our mothers are in their 80s, and the pace and setting were perfect for them. Two nights felt just right for a restful getaway. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was powerful — an absolute godsend in the Santubong heat. The complimentary water, coffee and tea provided were adequate. The weather was generally nice, although scorching during certain parts of the day, so we were glad to have a cool room to retreat to.
Our stay was simple and very enjoyable: we basically ate, chatted and swam. The food was good quality, with generous portions, and we were very satisfied with the meals. The place feels lived in rather than brand new, but it is respectably clean. I would not describe it as immaculate, but it is by far cleaner than many hotels and retreats in Kuching.
The only thing I wish we had done differently was to request ground-floor rooms in advance. As our mothers are in their 80s, it would have been easier for them to avoid climbing the stairs. For anyone travelling with elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns, I would suggest requesting ground-floor rooms when booking. Overall, Cove 55 is a beautiful, serene place for a quiet escape, especially for families or friends wanting to slow down and spend time together. I would happily recommend it.
GGuest UserExceptional Hospitality That Made My Birthday Special
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pullman Kuching Hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience. I chose to celebrate my birthday there, and the team went above and beyond to make it special.
A heartfelt thank you to I-Rene Saw, the Guest Experience Manager, and her wonderful team for their thoughtful arrangements. They beautifully decorated the room, surprised me with a birthday cake, and put us to a newly renovated room. These small yet meaningful gestures made a big difference and created a warm, celebratory atmosphere.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — the service was attentive, the room was comfortable and modern, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Pullman Kuching Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.
Thank you once again to I-Rene and the team for making my birthday so special!
GGuest UserNeed some maintenance to the shower area, bedside table, door lock, etc. The aircon in the reception lobby is dripping as well.
Overall, the windows in the room is thick enough to filter out the traffic sound. The dining area has good view. However the windows need cleaning from outside. Breakfast is basic but acceptable.
AAnonymous UserA relaxing beachfront stay with beautiful sea views and a peaceful nature vibe 🌊🌴 Damai Beach Resort is perfect for a short getaway, with direct beach access, spacious rooms, and stunning sunset views. The combination of beach and rainforest creates a calm atmosphere that feels refreshing and unique. Great for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a quiet escape in Kuching. Definitely worth it for the scenery alone ✨
AAim for food !4🌟 stay at Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing for 4D3N.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay with very friendly and helpful staff throughout our trip. Housekeeping also did a good job with room cleanliness and bed arrangement daily.
One of the best parts of the stay was the beautiful view overlooking the Kuching Waterfront. The sunset view from the room was really nice and relaxing, especially during the evening.
Breakfast had quite a good variety. During our 4D3N stay, the live stall consistently served Laksa Sarawak and Kolomee, which was a nice local touch. The salad section and some hot dishes were changed daily as well, so breakfast did not feel too repetitive.
However, for a 4-star hotel, there are still quite a number of maintenance details that need improvement. On our first night, we faced an issue with the air-conditioning not being cold enough. After informing the front counter, the staff responded well and arranged a room change for us. The second room had much better air-conditioning.
Another small point for improvement is the room amenities. Coffee and tea were only replenished on the first day of check-in and not refilled during the following days.
Overall, still a pleasant stay with good service from the team, but the hotel facilities and maintenance can definitely be improved further.
AAnonymous UserWe booked this place last minute after denied check in at another place only to be able to stay at the said hotel after few hours. Forced to cancel and never stay in the unit but had an experience dealing with the owner. Although it cant be refunded but lets assume its a good place based on the pictures alone haha
