"I signed up for the jogging and tea program the day before, which started at 8 AM on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, and it was great. Luckily, a car was provided for the return trip, which was convenient. I was initially surprised that some amenities were missing, but after messaging the hotel concierge on WhatsApp, they were immediately brought to my room. Thank you."
"Strategic location & sangat convenient untuk family stay.. stay apartment room no 307.. ada 7 adult, 1 kid.. best sangat! Breakfast pun okay, plenty of parking, ada lif walaupun bangunan 3 tingkat which is sangat bagus!
Front house pun very welcoming.. cumaa kalau ada nak minta improve maybe on water heater jeee.. dia kejap sejuk kejap panas.. overall our stay definitely worth every penny 😍"
"Stayed one night at Heritage Hotel in Tanah Rata and it was a solid, convenient choice for a quick Cameron Highlands trip. The location is excellent — just a short walk to restaurants, the night market, and main attractions. Our room was spacious with a lovely view of the misty hills, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good rest after a day of exploring tea plantations and strawberry farms.
Staff were friendly and helpful, especially with check-in and local recommendations. Breakfast was decent with a good variety of local and Western options to start the day. The hotel has a bit of an older charm (some areas feel dated), and housekeeping could be more thorough, but overall it offered great value for the price.
Would recommend for a short, no-fuss stay focused on the highlands experience rather than luxury."
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and eating spots just steps away. It’s also within walking distance to the vibrant Centrum Night Market, which made the evenings even more enjoyable. Highly recommended — thumbs up! 👍"
"Hotel Brynton is an ideal choice for the business traveler or the short-stay urbanite who prioritizes location, cleanliness, and proximity to infrastructure over onsite resort-style amenities.
However, for travelers expecting a full-service experience—or those looking for a ”resort” feel to justify a higher budget—the current lack of facilities creates a perception of an inflated price tag. It is a property that succeeds on its geography but leaves room for improvement in its value-add services."
"I returned to Century Pines CH after about 5-6 years and I’m pleased to see that the hotel has maintained its charm. Overall, I had a satisfying stay.
However got one issue that still hasn’t been addressed is the bathroom shower. The shower curtain is outdated and water easily splashes onto the bathroom floor even when the curtain is fully closed. I strongly recommend replacing it with a glass shower door as this would greatly improve the guest experience.
I would also like to commend the bellboys and security staff for always being courteous and welcoming whether assisting with parking or greeting guests at the lobby. A special thanks as well to Ms. / Puan Fara from the restaurant for her warm, attentive, and professional service. She is truly an asset to the hotel.
I hope the shower issue will finally be addressed as it's the only aspect that fell short during an otherwise enjoyable stay."
"All good for a short stay. Best part is that it is located just behind Centrum. Getting meals is not a problem if you're not specific. Value for money."
No. 3 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Cameron Highlands
"Oakwood Cameron Highlands exceeded my expectations. Although it is not a five-star hotel, everything is comfortable, clean and thoughtfully arranged. The bed is excellent, and the room has a refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, reliable hot water and good water pressure.
Breakfast is very good, but it gets busy after 9:00 a.m., so arriving earlier is better. The internet is fast, although connecting several devices can require a little effort.
The balcony offers a beautiful view and fresh mountain air. The location near the golf course is convenient, the restaurant is good, and the terrace on the 15th floor is outstanding. I have not enjoyed such a peaceful and pleasant hotel stay for a long time and would happily return."

"Super quiet hotel, lovely views! They've an awesome garden! Suggest signing up for the guided walk around the property to get a complete experience of what strawberry park has to offer!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Would be even more awesome if the furniture (e.g., cupboards) are updated!"

Great
DDaphne DominicWe had high expectations for this iconic YTL property, but sadly it fell short. While the colonial charm and beautiful surroundings are undeniable, the overall experience didn’t match the premium price.
Service was inconsistent throughout our stay. Some staff were warm and attentive, while others seemed indifferent, making the experience feel uneven. For a luxury hotel, we expected much more attention to detail.
The property itself is elegant, but parts of it are showing their age and could benefit from refurbishment. Although the atmosphere is peaceful, it wasn’t enough to make up for the service shortcomings. Food also not to expectation .Nasi lemak , the rice is undercooked. Coffee is inconsistent . First Serve was good . Second pot was burnt .
Their high tea, sandwiches we stale . Only admirable was their scone with clotted cream & strawberry jam were excellent .
Overall, it wasn’t the memorable luxury escape we had hoped for. There are certainly positives, but considering the price, we left feeling disappointed rather than impressed.
AainnajwaroslanThe room is large, suitable for our group of 4. It comes with complete cooking utensils. Just a heads up, since they are used items, the frying pan burns easily. The TV isn't a smart TV, it has Astro (satellite TV). The bathroom is big with a bathtub, but the bathtub doesn't have a jacuzzi function, and there was a lot of dust coming out from under the bathtub after cleaning it. Forks, spoons, and cups are all provided, and there's a microwave and fridge. The microwave was broken during my visit and was only replaced on the day we checked out, so we didn't get to use it. They provided 4 towels and didn't replace them. There's also a small lift, making it easy to load luggage. FYI, the owner lives downstairs and is Indian.
GGuest UserLocation: Perfect as middle of Cameron. Easy to access Mall and variety of foods.
Service: Firstly, the owner or management gave wrong location. Secondly, the key was located on P1 post box but lift at P2. Thirdly, at Lift B got 1 lift only, need to wait for very long to go to Homestay.
Cleanliness: No complaint on it.
Facilities: All good as the management prepared food amenities with fridge, cooker and electric stove. Other than that bed and room amenities perfect but the Entertainment system sucks, the TV useless for Indians as only got 1 channel to access other than that the TV and Room Fan remotes malfunctions. The balcony table is not there as on example.
Anyway, i loved the location with surrounding entertaining areas and view from the balcony and window.
MmmasoicAlthough the apartment is strategically located near many eateries and within walking distance to Centrum Market, the overall stay was disappointing. The apartment is clearly rundown and poorly maintained.
The wooden flooring is scratched after long-term use and easily traps dirt. Even though we wore slippers indoors throughout the stay, it still felt unhygienic.
We booked a 3bed 3bath unit; while the toilet seat was clean, the inside of the toilet was very dirty. Overall cleanliness was barely acceptable, with many areas appearing insufficiently cleaned.
In addition, two of the bathroom water heaters were not working properly, which affected basic usage.
I believe this is a unit-specific issue. In unit 302, the Wi-Fi connection was only available at the entrance area near the main door. Once you move further into the living area or bedrooms, the Wi-Fi is not accessible at all. As a result, the TV was also unusable, as it requires a Wi-Fi connection to function.
We were later offered a unit exchange to unit 308. Nevertheless new unit offered stable Wi-Fi, slightly clean toilet and all water heater works. However, unit 308 had a noticeable damp and moldy smell in the room. End up we choose to remain at our original unit.
Although the staff were helpful and made efforts to assist us, the issues with the old facilities and partially non-functional amenities remained. If you are able to tolerate these shortcomings, the place may still be acceptable.
GGuest UserEasy check-in
Toilet cleanliness - 3/5
Room - look old and a bit smelly, with old bed sheet and furniture
Parking was not easy coz got many nearby hotel
I stayed at the first floor, but have to go to the ground floor to use the iron & iron board. No iron at the floor.
AAkhmadullaevaIts nice view but upon check in at 6pm, the bedsheets is dirty and i had to wait more than 30mins for the staff to ocme and change to new one. The sink are not functioning well, leaking. The wall of the bathroom is very dirty and mushy. Lucky i only stay for 1night.
ZZainuddinThe view was great. But the location is so far away from the main town. Like 15 min up to the hills. So at night, it will be very dark.
We really dont like the room. We do not sleep there that night and decide to book another hotel at brinchang. Because I have a baby and I'm afraid the baby will not sleep well at night.
For someone who looking a peacefull and quite place. Yeah... you can gi here
There will be no bfast provided. So we book another hotel with breakfast.
AAnonymous UserThe location is very strategic and convenient. However, cleanliness could be improved as it felt somewhat unhygienic. There were also no basic cooking facilities like a rice cooker or pot provided. Overall, the experience was just okay.
WWiwiwayStrategically located at tourist hotspots Kea Farm, this hotel offers spacious rooms where family members can gather at the living room for family time. Not to worry if one needs groceries or toiletries as Watson and TF value mart are accessible via lift of the hotel. Many shops such as old town coffee house, domino pizza and nasi kandar shop are just downstairs.
