"I only visited Mexico City to include the Teotihuacán tour; so I needed a cheap hotel pace to stay! The photos of the interior sold me! The staff were so kind and helpful! Pretty place! Bed was okay; slightly hard but average hostel appearance The room was pretty quite humid but I suspect it’s bc the fan was on 24/7 and no air flow; it was acc cooler outside than in the room"

"The room was clean and the location was excellent, right in the city center. Syntagma Square is just a 5-minute walk away, and the hotel is right next to a metro interchange for lines 1 and 2, making getting around very convenient. However, the hotel facilities are a bit basic; there's nothing extra. The lobby has a few tables where you can eat food you've bought before heading upstairs. I was initially worried about the lack of air conditioning, but the weather here is quite cool, so it wasn't a big issue."

"The hotel is conveniently located within a 3-minute walk of Zocalo Square. It was the perfect place for sightseeing. If I had to say one thing, it would be that the hotel has an open-air building, so you can hear voices from the front desk until around 1 a.m., so it's a good idea to bring earplugs."

"Very nice hotel with archaeological site at breakfast area. Location is good but whenever there is events happening, you need to walk outside to get grab or Uber. Free coffee and water bottles at the lobby. Offer complimentary fruits. Stayed at two different rooms, the one junior suite with private balcony is the best. The smaller room ( double bed) is ok."

"Checked in on the 21st and checked out on the 24th. I wanted to check out a day early because I had a flight to catch on the 24th and there was a big strike in Mexico City, but the hotel wouldn't agree no matter how I tried to negotiate, which left a bit of a bad taste. Overall, the hotel was just okay. Breakfast was mediocre, the coffee was bland, and there was nothing particularly outstanding about it. Perhaps its only redeeming quality is its proximity to the Zócalo."

"It was a superb experience staying at this hotel. Almost everything is perfectly done and I was amazed from the front desk, the cafeteria, the rooms, breakfast services and choices of food. I experienced great hospitality comparing to other hotels nearby. I told my friends in New york and California to book at Zocalo Central hotel if they are visiting Mexico city. The centro historico is a great location where the hotel us located. See you again. Thanks Zocalo, you are amazingly one of a kind place to stay away from home."

"A conveniently located hotel in the heart of Mexico City. Easy access to walk to main attractions and multiple restaurants. A great buffet breakfast offered in the hotel restaurant. Room was clean, comfortable, and maintained daily. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us with booking day tours. We visited during Fifa World Cup and Mexico City did a fabulous job hosting the events. The city was lively and decorated nicely."

"Nice hotel in a historical building, right next to the Zocalo. Our room faced the side street so the noise level was tolerable. Location was excellent as it was so close to major sights in the historical area, the night bus stop and the Metro."

"Excellent location, very friendly service, well-maintained facilities. The only downside was that there was no TV. The breakfast was very good, and the coffee was delicious. The location is fantastic; I loved it. I would recommend it 100%. Thank you so much! ☺️"

"Great hotel to stay at in Mexico City because it's centrally located, and a tour operator picked me up for an excursion to Teotihuacan, which was fantastic. The staff was also cordial in general, and I felt safe with the private guard in the front lobby. As for the room, it was just as advertised in the adverisement description and pictures. Warm water worked, and so did the A/C. Wifi worked well, but because I have used Ibis Hotel in other countries, I already had a general account, so accessing wifi was a little tricky in the beginning, but after resetting my password, I was able to access wifi. With regards to the restaurant, some of the dishes were delicious for dinner, such as the Enchilada Suices. The breakfast buffet was well worth it and had a variety to select from. Overall, this hotel is a good value for your money."
