"Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel room was clean and comfortable. Decent location, a bit far from all the touristy places and stuff. However, the hotel is situated right next to a tram line which is a big bonus. Only downside is that it lacked the amenities, however it was stated upon booking, so I cannot complain."

"My stay at the Opera Hotel has a pleathora of mixed feelings. I'd classify it as perfectly adequate for a short business trip if you get a good deal, but there are a few significant issues that really hampered the experience. 🚩 super narrow rooms, almost no space to put suitcases 🚩 upper mattress is moving while you are sleeping, so basically you end up falling from the bed 🚩 key card issues"

"The hostel is closed to the Central bus station which is convenient for travellers arrived by bus. The distance from old town is likely 15mins walk, which is acceptable for me. The entrance is locked. Travellers need other to open the door for you if you’re first time to go in."

"The rooms in the old city, the stairs are narrow and steep, suitable for a small amount of luggage, otherwise it is too terrible. The room is still good, but the service attitude is too reduced. There is a problem when you check in. You can’t answer the phone and send an email. Trip.com also helped to contact, but I couldn’t contact it. Later, I found out that the staff (maybe the owner) lived next door."

"The beautiful hotel is in the heart of the city, in a distance from the station and from the bus station. The hotel has everything, a refrigerator, a stove, very convenient if you come for a few days with your family. The only thing that cleaning apartments happens once a week is , it is little, but if you ask the staff, they are very responsive and will solve all the questions . I stop not the first time and very satisfied. Every time there are some innovations- recently opened spa and good prices for procedures, and if you want you can order breakfast with delivery of €12 good enough breakfast. I recommend"

"My first impression when arrived was its old facilities layouts. But after enter8ng my room, I was impressed with its arrangement . The bed was comfortable. Bathroom is big and clean. All bath fixtures worked well Two pillows in room 224 may need to be replaced. Breakfast was very delicious.. I recommend this hotel because of its service and just right in the Riga old town. So many restaurants within 5 min walking distance "
