"The hotel's location is very central, the reception staff is friendly and polite. Breakfast is adequate and varied. The rooms are clean, there is a kettle, and the bed is comfortable. If I come back, I will stay at the same hotel again. You can leave your luggage free of charge after checking out and explore."

The hotel environment is lovely, and there are many Instagram-worthy spots nearby. They also serve breakfast, though we didn't try it, so I can't comment on the taste. "This lovely hotel located in the old town, walking distance to most of the tourist sights. They had laundry facility at level 4 with a payment of EUR 4.50. There had lot of cafes and restaurants around them. Room size is big and clean. Stable free wifi connections."

"An extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . . Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available. The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was. Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay."

"My first impression when arrived was its old facilities layouts. But after enter8ng my room, I was impressed with its arrangement . The bed was comfortable. Bathroom is big and clean. All bath fixtures worked well Two pillows in room 224 may need to be replaced. Breakfast was very delicious.. I recommend this hotel because of its service and just right in the Riga old town. So many restaurants within 5 min walking distance "

I booked it because it is a hotel chain and had good reviews. Another reason for booking with this hotel was its proximity to central bus station which I need to go at end of my staycation."

"The rooms in the old city, the stairs are narrow and steep, suitable for a small amount of luggage, otherwise it is too terrible. The room is still good, but the service attitude is too reduced. There is a problem when you check in. You can’t answer the phone and send an email. Trip.com also helped to contact, but I couldn’t contact it. Later, I found out that the staff (maybe the owner) lived next door."
