"The hotel's location is very central, the reception staff is friendly and polite. Breakfast is adequate and varied. The rooms are clean, there is a kettle, and the bed is comfortable. If I come back, I will stay at the same hotel again. You can leave your luggage free of charge after checking out and explore."

"The rooms in the old city, the stairs are narrow and steep, suitable for a small amount of luggage, otherwise it is too terrible. The room is still good, but the service attitude is too reduced. There is a problem when you check in. You can’t answer the phone and send an email. Trip.com also helped to contact, but I couldn’t contact it. Later, I found out that the staff (maybe the owner) lived next door."

"We arrived early but couldn't check in yet. Luckily, the hotel offered a free luggage storage service, which was very helpful. The hotel environment is lovely, and there are many Instagram-worthy spots nearby. They also serve breakfast, though we didn't try it, so I can't comment on the taste. It's also conveniently located near a bus stop, which is great if you need to catch an early bus – just a 5-10 minute walk."

"This lovely hotel located in the old town, walking distance to most of the tourist sights. They had laundry facility at level 4 with a payment of EUR 4.50. There had lot of cafes and restaurants around them. Room size is big and clean. Stable free wifi connections."

"My first impression when arrived was its old facilities layouts. But after enter8ng my room, I was impressed with its arrangement . The bed was comfortable. Bathroom is big and clean. All bath fixtures worked well Two pillows in room 224 may need to be replaced. Breakfast was very delicious.. I recommend this hotel because of its service and just right in the Riga old town. "We were extremely happy with our stay at Hotel Justus. The hotel is located in the middle of the beautiful Riga Old Town, only a 3-minute walk to the Christmas Markets, 5-minute walk to the famous churches, and 20 minutes to the Art Nouveau District which houses some of the art galleries and museums. We stayed on the third floor in a standard double room. The room was spacious enough for a couple, had a well-functioning bathroom and also a comfortable bed and pillows. The room was well heated for the sub-zero temperatures. It has lifts. Breakfasts were delicious with both hot and cold dishes - scrambled egg pie, crispy bacon, sausages, fresh vegetables, porridge, pickled herring, wheat and rye bread, fruit and pastries. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing information for the major galleries and museums and even helping me find the Leica store. Before the holiday, manager, Einars was extremely helpful finding us a private driver to drive us from Riga to Tallinn at the end of our stay. This is a very historic, boutique hotel with a cosy ambience. I believe the restaurant on the ground floor is open in peak seasons. Nearby are at ; least 20 restaurants and cafes, and many bars. A wonderful stay, thank you."

"1. The room was converted from an old building, and the space was fantastic! It was about 3.1 meters wide, very spacious, practically luxury level. The bathroom facilities were good. 2. The location was excellent, right next to the central square of Riga Cathedral, and another exit was 200 meters from the river. Convenient for getting anywhere in the old town. 3. The apartment-style kitchen was fully equipped, so we cooked our own breakfast and dinner for two days. 4. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant and doesn't provide breakfast. 5. A major criticism is that there was no hot water on the second night, and it hadn't been restored this morning. This must be pointed out. The hotel must guarantee a hot water supply and shouldn't have any malfunctions. If there is a malfunction, it should be resolved immediately; it's unreasonable to have no hot water the next morning! Because we were going to catch a bus at noon, we didn't contact the hotel. I washed my hair yesterday morning and didn't shower last night, so I had no idea there was no hot water last night; otherwise, I would have contacted them then. (This morning, when I was washing up, my wife told me there was no hot water last night.) 6. There was no free bottled water each day; only one bottle was provided on the day of check-in. This makes no sense for a room rate of over 1400 RMB per day."

"The room was clean and well located, approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the heart of the city centre. The only negative was that the air conditioning/heating was not working during my stay, but the receptionist gave me an electric heater which mostly made up for it. Considering the temperature was -15° during my stay, I was not too cold in my room."
