"The check-in staff spoke basic English, but other employees didn't. Room cleanliness was a major issue; while general tidiness was okay, a thorough cleaning was clearly lacking. On the first night, a staff member put my friend's pajamas inside the duvet, making them hard to find. The second night, they threw away my facial cleanser refill, which was the first time I've ever encountered a hotel discarding a guest's items. On the third night, no one cleaned the room, refilled the water, or emptied the trash. I tried calling reception, but communication was impossible. We had to go to the front desk in person and show them photos of the room's condition before they said they'd send someone to clean it. However, after waiting over ten minutes, no one showed up. We eventually confirmed that no one would be cleaning that day and we'd have to wait until the next. The trash wasn't emptied, and it took repeated requests to get water, which was delivered by a staff member with a rather poor attitude. We asked for water and a trash bag for our rubbish, but they gave us water and towels. Generally, many staff members don't speak English, making communication quite difficult."
"The location is surprisingly not bad if you take the bus. You can go to many places. The room is clean and has the basic amenities. It's good considering the price.
The walls seem thin, and there were days when I heard loud voices late at night. It can't be helped. I stayed for several nights, and when cleaning, the toothbrush I brought with me was thrown away. It's not a big deal, but it did put a bit of a damper on my mood."
"I booked and stayed because I was on a business trip to Daegu.
Friendly, comfortable and clean. Accessibility was satisfactory
It's so nice because it's a restaurant alley
Thank you. I'll go again."
"We had an amazing stay at Nampo Radiant Hotel! Check-in went very smoothly, and we received clear instructions well in advance. Our room was spacious and located on the 18th floor with a beautiful city view – such a nice bonus! Everything in the room worked perfectly, and we honestly couldn’t find a single downside.
The location is great – just a short walk from several food markets and the famous Jagalchi Market. It takes about an hour to get to the beach, but we didn’t mind at all – it was totally worth it! Overall, a wonderful hotel that we would happily stay at again."
"The owner was very nice. ”Check in” is very early from 17.00, so very convenient. The quality of bed linen quite poor: stains, holes... For a solo traveler, the surroundings are a bit unsafe. I had the impression that many couples only came for one night. The photos don't quite match the reality."

Amazing
KKathrinHI had a very pleasant stay at Prana Hotel in Hyunpoong. The hotel is very new, and you can immediately feel the modern and well-thought-out design throughout the entire property. Everything is clean, fresh, and maintained to a high standard.
What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff - very fluent in English! The reception team in particular was extremely welcoming, helpful, and professional, making check-in and the overall stay very smooth and comfortable.
The hotel also offers very convenient parking, which is a big plus if you are traveling by car. In addition, the fitness center is well-equipped and perfect for maintaining your routine while staying there.
A nice extra is the small bar, which provides a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. You can enjoy a selection of drinks like beer and gin & tonic, along with some snacks — a simple but very appreciated touch.
Overall, Prana Hotel is an excellent choice in Hyunpoong if you are looking for a modern, comfortable stay with great service. I booked already another stay next week.
AAnonymous UserHere’s a refined version while keeping your warm, positive tone:
Great location! Just a short walk from Dongdaegu Station and many well-known eateries. I felt truly welcomed during my stay — a special thanks to Ann, front desk for her kindness. She even wrote a thoughtful welcome card wishing me wonderful memories in Daegu.
Although there were a few small inconveniences, the friendly smiles and excellent service from Ann and the rest of the staff made my stay outstanding. I happily give this hotel 5 stars and hope to return in the future again!
GGuest UserIt's conveniently located near Dongdaegu Station.
I loved that they even provided a simple breakfast in the morning.
I'm very satisfied with this level of service for this price.
The facilities are also clean.
GGuest UserSwimming in the winter infinity pool was the best, exceeding my expectations.
The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable and nice. I would love to stay here again on my next trip.
The cafe next to the lobby is friendly, but... the coffee taste is a bit underwhelming.
There are good food options down the hill, and it's close by.
The hill was tiring though, haha. The view of Suseong Lake is great, too. 💕
KKUI FEII recently stayed at a hotel in Daegu and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers a superb view, making the stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. One of the best things about this hotel is its strategic location — it is conveniently surrounded by several tourist attractions, all within walking distance. This made exploring the city very easy and stress-free.
The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Daegu, especially for those who appreciate a great view and easy access to nearby attractions.
MMr.TA216I stayed at Hotel Noblestay in Seoul, and it was an excellent experience! The hotel seamlessly blends modern comfort with a touch of Korean elegance, creating a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere.
The location is ideal, situated in the bustling Jongno district, within walking distance of major attractions like Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong, and Myeongdong. It’s also close to subway stations, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city.
The rooms were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the modern bathrooms came with high-quality toiletries. I also appreciated the small details like complimentary water, tea, and fast Wi-Fi.
The staff were outstanding—professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. They provided great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions and ensured my stay was smooth from check-in to check-out.
The breakfast offered a delicious selection of Korean and international dishes, which was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. The dining area was cozy and well-maintained.
Hotel Noblestay offers fantastic value for its central location, exceptional service, and comfortable accommodations. Whether you’re visiting Seoul for leisure or business, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay!
GGuest UserThe location is a 5 minute walk to Dongdaegu Station amd a big mall, there are lots of convenient stores within 3 minutes walk of the hotel also and I was able to park my big F-150 truck within the parking area. Also the room was huge with two computers and a jacuzzi tub and seperate shower area, I would stay again.
GGuest UserFacilities: We booked a family room for a trip with friends. It had two large double beds, and the bathroom was well-equipped with towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and a hairdryer. The room had a large window with good natural light and ventilation, and also a dining table and chairs.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent, and the room had no unpleasant odors.
Service: The lobby on the first floor was spacious, with self-service check-in. There was a coffee machine, ice maker, and microwave.
Environment: The hotel isn't located on a main street, but it's very close to a bus stop. The surrounding environment is quiet, likely in a residential area. There's a police station nearby, so the safety is good. However, there are no convenience stores nearby; there's one small shop, but it's probably not open 24 hours. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and highly recommend it. We would definitely stay again if we had the chance. ☺️☺️
MMirageTimeThe hotel is more like motel. The location is only 3min walk from train station exit2 and go down stairs turn left walk straight. If you want go to city centre need to walk cross train station about 10-15min. Room is very big for the price you pay is reasonable.
GGuest UserI gave 1 extra star because the man at the desk kept my bag safe when it needed to be. So he did the job well. Otherwise, zero stars will be given for the service of the old lady at the desk. She was unfriendly and insulting!!! First, she doesn't speak English, so she should use a translator to communicate with the customers. Instead, she started talking in an unfriendly way in Korean when she knew I couldn’t speak Korean.
Second, because I don't understand and she doesn't understand me, I have to ask my Korean friend to talk with her. She is still not friendly. And not try to understand for me, because I don't know what my friend and her were talking about. So she showed me that she got annoyed with my misunderstanding of her.
Third, and the most horrible of all. She was very rude the next day. I came to her desk, because I needed something. I have just shown my face and wanna say hi, with a friendly look at her. But she started to behave rudely right away before I could say hi. By saying something loudly in Korea and weirdly using both hands and looking angry. So I felt very uninvited to ask something. So I go away from her. Back to my room. I found my stuff (toothbrush and other things of mine) that I forgot in the other room. That I forgot to take with me, on the floor!!!!!! The worst there is a desk for face washing next to the door. So she could put it in there. It's so onhygien with my toothbrush without a cover put on the floor. I have never gotten that horrible service before. Even when I go the a very cheap hostel!
I was in a good mood to discover this city. And these are bad memories I got from her. She has just ruined my good mood for the holiday there. My friends suggested that I go to this Motel. Now my friends know how stupid this service I got from this lady. They won't come anymore in the future!
If the old lady doesn’t like foreigners then she shouldn't work there. So it won’t ruin someone's holiday. I hope the manager of their company does something with the service that the lady gave to the customer. I don’t complain usually. But this is unacceptable! I am planning to go regularly to Daegu because my friend lives there. This motel is in a perfect location for me. But now I would rather go to a hotel that is far away than this Motel. So you have just lost 1 regular customer because of this stupid service. I am still angry if I think about this service with my toothbrush on the floor.
