I had a very pleasant stay at Prana Hotel in Hyunpoong. The hotel is very new, and you can immediately feel the modern and well-thought-out design throughout the entire property. Everything is clean, fresh, and maintained to a high standard. What stood out most was the friendliness of the staff - very fluent in English! The reception team in particular was extremely welcoming, helpful, and professional, making check-in and the overall stay very smooth and comfortable. The hotel also offers very convenient parking, which is a big plus if you are traveling by car. In addition, the fitness center is well-equipped and perfect for maintaining your routine while staying there. A nice extra is the small bar, which provides a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. You can enjoy a selection of drinks like beer and gin & tonic, along with some snacks — a simple but very appreciated touch. Overall, Prana Hotel is an excellent choice in Hyunpoong if you are looking for a modern, comfortable stay with great service. I booked already another stay next week.

Here’s a refined version while keeping your warm, positive tone: Great location! Just a short walk from Dongdaegu Station and many well-known eateries. I felt truly welcomed during my stay — a special thanks to Ann, front desk for her kindness. She even wrote a thoughtful welcome card wishing me wonderful memories in Daegu. Although there were a few small inconveniences, the friendly smiles and excellent service from Ann and the rest of the staff made my stay outstanding. I happily give this hotel 5 stars and hope to return in the future again!

The room was spacious enough for two large and two small suitcases, and importantly, this hostel has an elevator! It's very convenient, and the location is also excellent! We found the actual location based on a previous review. The lady at the front desk downstairs speaks excellent English! There were absolutely no communication barriers throughout our stay! We were four girls staying on the 4th floor, but the common area on the 4th floor is only for males, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, you can't shower between 11:30 PM and 7:00 AM, which is a bit inconvenient for a night owl like me. Overall, though, I highly recommend it!

The hotel is dated & furniture & amenities are very old. However, the hotel provides 24hrs unlimited coffee, tea, biscuits at the lobby. You can even get a extra hand tower from the lobby self service counter. Breakfast is limited but they have a cute instant noodles cooking machine which is very convenient if you wish to have Korean instant noodles for breakfast.

Swimming in the winter infinity pool was the best, exceeding my expectations. The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable and nice. I would love to stay here again on my next trip. The cafe next to the lobby is friendly, but... the coffee taste is a bit underwhelming. There are good food options down the hill, and it's close by. The hill was tiring though, haha. The view of Suseong Lake is great, too. 💕

It's great value for money, very economical. The room has a large bathtub, and the bathroom even has sauna steam – it's wonderful! I bought a bath bomb and enjoyed two relaxing baths. The room is spacious, the internet is excellent, and the open-air glass roof lets in plenty of sunlight. There are convenience stores and various restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. The subway exit is just about 200 meters to the right after you exit the room – Donggu Hall Station. It's very close to Dongdaegu Train Station. You can walk to the train station, and there's a Lotte Department Store shopping plaza near the train station. The subway station itself has all sorts of delicious food and shopping options.

The staff were outstanding—professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. They provided great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions and ensured my stay was smooth from check-in to check-out. The breakfast offered a delicious selection of Korean and international dishes, which was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. The dining area was cozy and well-maintained. Hotel Noblestay offers fantastic value for its central location, exceptional service, and comfortable accommodations. Whether you’re visiting Seoul for leisure or business, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay!

A 1 minute walk to a bus stop that will take you anywhere you need to go! A quite area in Gyeongju (perfect for quite walks) The hotel seemed old but was still very clean! Let’s you do your clothes wash and then air dried outside :)

【Great Location & Cozy Stay – But Shower Needs Work】! I stayed here with my mum for 5 nights over Christmas. The location is fantastic—just steps from Daegu Station and Lotte Department Store, with convenience stores nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and warm, with plenty of space for luggage. Beds with electric underblankets were amazing— we slept so well and felt refreshed for the next day! Staff were friendly too. The only downside was the shower experience. The bathroom ventilation fan couldn’t be turned off, so it felt cold. The shower head holder was positioned too high, so we had to hold it by hand. The water pressure was intense and strong—honestly, it felt like needles hitting the skin, which was bit painful when the shower head was close...we had to hold it farther away, but then the cold airflow made us shiver. Shampooing and washing became a juggling act between turning off the shower (and feeling chilled) or holding the shower head with one hand so it was hard to shower comfortably. Finally, we ended up trembling while getting dressed. Overall, this hotel is excellent value for money given its location and cleanliness. Despite the shower issue, we would definitely stay here again and hope the bathroom gets warmer next time with a gentler shower head!

I gave 1 extra star because the man at the desk kept my bag safe when it needed to be. So he did the job well. Otherwise, zero stars will be given for the service of the old lady at the desk. She was unfriendly and insulting!!! First, she doesn't speak English, so she should use a translator to communicate with the customers. Instead, she started talking in an unfriendly way in Korean when she knew I couldn’t speak Korean. Second, because I don't understand and she doesn't understand me, I have to ask my Korean friend to talk with her. She is still not friendly. And not try to understand for me, because I don't know what my friend and her were talking about. So she showed me that she got annoyed with my misunderstanding of her. Third, and the most horrible of all. She was very rude the next day. I came to her desk, because I needed something. I have just shown my face and wanna say hi, with a friendly look at her. But she started to behave rudely right away before I could say hi. By saying something loudly in Korea and weirdly using both hands and looking angry. So I felt very uninvited to ask something. So I go away from her. Back to my room. I found my stuff (toothbrush and other things of mine) that I forgot in the other room. That I forgot to take with me, on the floor!!!!!! The worst there is a desk for face washing next to the door. So she could put it in there. It's so onhygien with my toothbrush without a cover put on the floor. I have never gotten that horrible service before. Even when I go the a very cheap hostel! I was in a good mood to discover this city. And these are bad memories I got from her. She has just ruined my good mood for the holiday there. My friends suggested that I go to this Motel. Now my friends know how stupid this service I got from this lady. They won't come anymore in the future! If the old lady doesn’t like foreigners then she shouldn't work there. So it won’t ruin someone's holiday. I hope the manager of their company does something with the service that the lady gave to the customer. I don’t complain usually. But this is unacceptable! I am planning to go regularly to Daegu because my friend lives there. This motel is in a perfect location for me. But now I would rather go to a hotel that is far away than this Motel. So you have just lost 1 regular customer because of this stupid service. I am still angry if I think about this service with my toothbrush on the floor.
