Hotels near Ohyeondan, Jeju City

I heard from the old lady at the BBQ place next door that this hotel used to be owned by a Chinese person, but it's under new management now. The hotel was renovated in 2026, so the facilities are very new. I originally booked for 2 nights but extended for another 4. The male front desk staff (obas) are very handsome and polite. There's a microwave in the room behind the front desk, and they said we could use it. The room also has a mini-fridge, and they provide 2 bottles of water daily. They clean every day, and even if you press the 'do not disturb' button, the cleaning lady will still leave towels and two bottles of water outside your door. If you ask her for extra bottles, she's happy to give them to you. Right across the street downstairs is a spot where people take photos in Hanfu. You don't need a ticket if you're wearing Hanbok, and the Hanbok rental shop is right next to the hotel. There's also a very good Chinese staff member. Downstairs, there are many restaurants run by locals, and we basically walked to places to eat for all 6 days. Chilseong-ro, Dongmun Market, and the cherry blossoms on Jeonnong-ro are still plentiful even in mid-April. There's a convenience store and a bus stop nearby. It's really great 👍

Hotel Whistlelark is honestly a good hotel for a comfortable stay and is definitely value for money.Has everything you need.Coin Laundry,friendly staff that speaks english,good location and relatively modern rooms.Located near Ocean Suites like a 5 minute walk (is way cheaper than Ocean Suites) which is popular pickup point for nearly all tours in Jeju.Free refill of water on the 2nd floor also. One complaint I have:The laundry is 24 hours but the light gets switched off after 10pm so that's something that could be fixed.Was working in semi darkness.... Other than that had an amazing stay and would pick here again if I came to Jeju!

This hotel cost me NT$615 for one night in Jeju, which is pretty average. The facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is decent enough. For just sleeping, I think it's acceptable. It's super convenient geographically: Dongmun Market, Jungang Underground Shopping Center, Chilseong-ro Shopping Street, and Black Pork Street are all within a 10-minute walk. Getting to the airport also only takes about ten minutes by car. If you're coming to Jeju, you might want to consider this place.

The hotel is about 500m from Dongmun Market, roughly a 10-minute walk. The room was small with a window facing the road, but it wasn't noisy at night as there was hardly any traffic. The decor felt a bit dated, like something from over a decade ago, but it was clean, which was a plus. Due to South Korea's environmental regulations, they don't provide disposable toothbrushes here (though other hotels I stayed at in Jeju did). There's a CU convenience store diagonally opposite downstairs. Overall, it was pretty good.

This stay deserves a perfect 100! The handsome owner was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, responding to messages quickly and solving any issues for us immediately. All the staff were very friendly and always smiling. 👍🏻 They even braved the rain with my husband to help us find a parking spot! The first floor has a communal kitchen area equipped with bottled water, a water dispenser, a fridge, cooking utensils, and tableware. There's no elevator, but the staircase is wide and easy to use. They proactively asked if we needed help carrying our luggage upstairs, though we managed ourselves. One evening, there was an English-speaking social gathering, and they warmly invited us to join. Unfortunately, my English isn't great, so I couldn't participate much. 😅 There's a hair straightener available on the second floor. The third floor has a washing machine and dryer (laundry detergent is provided). The location is also very convenient; you can walk to Dongmun Market and Chilseong Street, and it's close to the bus stop. The room was a bit small but perfectly adequate and very clean. The bed was comfortable. A hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. They regularly perform pest control. If I ever have the chance to visit Jeju Island again, I'll definitely stay here!

This is an established, star-rated hotel, conveniently located about a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport. The elevators offer glass panels with sea views, and the waterfall view in the ground floor cafe is also beautiful. The lobby has a CU convenience store, there's a GS25 by the entrance, and an Emart and a pharmacy directly across the street. The nearby neighborhood is quiet and charming, boasting a wide variety of food options like tofu soup restaurants and bakeries, as well as specialty stores like Olive Young and Patagonia, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The front desk service was excellent. They kindly stored my luggage before the 3 PM check-in time. Some staff members couldn't understand English, but they patiently found colleagues who could assist. The breakfast offered a great variety and was very good. Downsides: ① The room has limited power outlets. Once the lamp is plugged in, there aren't many other available sockets, so I recommend bringing a small power strip. ② The bathroom has a bathtub, which might be less convenient for elderly guests. ③ Since it wasn't air-conditioning season, the only ventilation in the room was by opening the window. However, there was a slight noise from planes taking off and landing at the distant airport. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs, though it was quiet in the middle of the night.

It felt a bit unfamiliar at first since we had to do self check-in and didn’t really interact with the staff, but it wasn’t a big issue. All the facilities in this hotel are really good, and the beach view is amazing. It’s a great place to take a break from everything and just relax.

The location is just over two kilometers from the airport, near the intersection of a main road and a new community. It's quiet at night, surrounded by parks and a river. A taxi to the airport only takes about five minutes (costing around 5,000 KRW / 20-30 CNY), which is very convenient. There's a CU convenience store within walking distance, and the area is full of budget-friendly hotels. The front desk is run by a family who are very friendly. The room was perfectly adequate, with two beds of different sizes, making it suitable for a family of three. One bed was wider, and there was even an electric blanket, which was a very thoughtful touch. It had everything you needed, even toothpaste provided. The hot water was plentiful with good pressure. This place offers excellent value for money! 👍

The building looks a bit old from the outside, but don’t let that fool you—the room is exceptionally clean. The linens smell fresh and the bathroom is spotless. I also loved that both the room and the bed have heaters, which made the stay extra cozy. The location is very convenient, just a short walk to restaurants, convenience stores, and a 24-hour self-service coin laundry. Ahjumma taking care or owner is kind. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

I spent the last 4 days of my 9-day Jeju trip at this hotel. The facilities are pretty basic, but the room is very spacious. The fried chicken shop right downstairs is delicious – we ate there for 3 days straight! The location is excellent, with convenient bus access, and it's right next to a tourist spot. Being in an old residential area, it offers a glimpse into authentic Korean culture. The owner is very warm and hospitable; they immediately came out to help with our luggage when our taxi arrived (though their attitude towards Chinese guests using translation apps wasn't great, so it's best to communicate in English). It's close to the airport, about 33-40 RMB by taxi. The streets have an anime-like vibe... and my child had to visit the self-serve ice cream shop every day!
