"The detached villa facing the sea was so beautiful and comfortable. The cleanliness exceeded my expectations. Aside from being a bit out of the way, everything else was perfect. I was very satisfied.
Cleanliness: I consider myself quite particular about hotel cleanliness, but this hotel exceeded my expectations. It was extremely, extremely, extremely clean. Even after wiping the outdoor tables and chairs with a white towel, they were still pristine white. I was amazed by the Koreans' standards of cleanliness.
Environment: The room was very cozy, a small loft-style room. Downstairs there was a living room, master bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Upstairs was a small loft that the kids loved, fighting over who got to stay there. Air conditioning, TV, kettle, pots, refrigerator, washing machine, and hairdryer were all provided. I forget if they had chopsticks, forks, and spoons. The living room had a large floor-to-ceiling window, and the windows in the rooms and kitchen were also large, offering great sea views. There was a semi-enclosed courtyard with a very well-maintained lawn—perfect for taking photos; you could easily spend half a day there.
Location: It's just a few minutes' walk down to the beach, with black rocks and volcanic rock formations. This appears to be a newly developed resort area. The location is a bit remote; there aren't many other houses nearby, nor are there any convenience stores or restaurants. After 8 PM, it was impossible to get a taxi from Hamdeok Beach. It's about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, and walking alone at night was a little scary. Staying indoors is fine though.
Service: We arrived late and checked in entirely on our own. The hotel responded quickly to any issues, patiently answering all our questions. The service was excellent, and communication via WeChat was smooth."
