First time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price!
1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not.
2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning.
3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F.
4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price.
Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊

Mr.HouThe location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk from the station. The facilities were good, and the place was very clean. We chose a twin room, and the size was just right – not at all cramped. A big plus was the separate shower and toilet area. The price was also very reasonable, making it a much better option than other hotels nearby. I'd highly recommend it. Our top-floor room was also a nice bonus.

Room is small. Stayed one night and over the weekend hence the room rate was high. Also it coincided with the marathon. There was free parking which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel staff are not very conversant in English and it is not near the city centre. There was however a very big supermarket nearby where we could pick foodstuff for our journey up north. Came back to Himeji a week later and this time I stayed at a hotel located in the city centre where there are a lot of parking around it.

We stayed at this hotel for three days and were very satisfied. The breakfast had slight variations each day, offering local specialties, and there was a delicious coffee machine available at all times. In the evenings, they even provided free alcoholic beverages and ochazuke (rice with tea/broth), which was absolutely perfect for the price. The hotel is also very close to the station; you can reach the Shinkansen platform in under 5 minutes if you're not carrying heavy luggage. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be great if the hairdryer in the room had a stronger airflow.

Goh Yue YaoI give 5star although its 12min walk away from station because its so near shops and castle. Service i also give 5star because they let me leave my luggage before check in time.. but be sure you be there before 10am. Its quite old place. Rooms at second floor. I like it they let me choose the empty space i wanted instead of assigning any bed to me..

Guest UserLocation is really close to train station which I like. Lots of food options around. Himeji castle is a 20 minute walk but you can opt to take a bus if you have walking issues.
The bathroom and toilet is separated. Towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and moisturizing lotion are provided.
To be honest we didn't know how to operate the bath pool/jacuzzi, but it was already full when we got there so it was nice. There's a windowsill which allows you to peek inside the soaking area so that was funny. If you're with your spouse it wouldn't matter though.

The room was a bit small and the facilities were a bit old, but they were well-maintained. The hotel offers frequent shuttle bus services to Himeji Station. Free parking is available for guests who drive. The breakfast selection was quite good.

It is a little far from Himeji station, so is it inconvenient when the weather is bad? However, there are convenience stores and McDonald's nearby, so it is convenient. The facilities are aging, but other surrounding hotels are similar, and I didn't use the large communal bath or free food and drink this time, but it's a good deal, so I definitely want you to use it. orz

The building was extremely old and poorly lit; the reception area, the guest rooms everything felt dim and gloomy. The room slippers were not disposable, which I found unhygienic, so I couldn't bring myself to wear them. Since my room was located right near the elevator, I could clearly hear the sounds of people walking in the hallway; furthermore, even while inside my room, the conversations from neighboring guest rooms were so loud that I couldn't get any sleep at night.
