"The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to Odawara Station. As a chain hotel, the service was good; check-in was self-service, but front desk staff were readily available to help. On the first floor, the lobby offered convenient complimentary amenities like small soaps, facial cleansers, and lotions for guests to pick up. The room was quite small, barely fitting one suitcase. Regarding hygiene, I had the persistent feeling that the bedding wasn't very clean – my skin felt itchy the day after sleeping there, and it cleared up immediately after I switched to a different hotel the next night. The hotel provides a traditional Japanese buffet breakfast, which was very generous, and you could even pack food to go if you were in a hurry. Being a Japanese chain brand, there were many Japanese guests staying there, suggesting it has a good reputation locally."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, right above Odawara Station. The lobby is on the fourth floor, easily accessible from the third-floor station concourse – no need to go down to the street to find it. The breakfast buffet restaurant is also great, with a wide variety of food, including local seafood specialties. It's located on the top floor, with an outdoor terrace offering lovely views of Odawara's historic castle and the cityscape. The room itself is quite basic; the pajamas and bedding are nothing special, and the pillow is too flat. The bathroom counter is also a bit low."

"A very nice place to stay with a good location to the Odawara castle. Room condition was wonderful and it's size was big enough for a couple. We enjoyed kindness of the staff. We will come back to here if we visit Odawara again."

"Is a very relaxing onsen hotel with a great companion of free parking, unlimited free flow of drinks and alcohol, free supper ramen and helpful front desk staff assist when check in.. the hotel is just located near to the train station and old town.. really highly recommended and worth it."

"We stayed at the hotel for 2 days. Be aware that Google Maps gives incorrect directions, leading you up a hill from which you cannot access the reception. Luckily, a kind woman we met along the way showed us the correct route. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. There's a pleasant small onsen included in the stay, for which you only need to pay an additional 150 yen per person per night as a tax. It's a shame the outdoor pool wasn't working. Complimentary drinks are available at the bar both during the day and in the evening. On our departure day, it was raining heavily, and the hotel arranged a free transfer to the station for us."

"I booked a private hot spring room, 800 a night for a twin bed. The surroundings are really nice, and the air is fresh. The front desk offers complimentary drinks and an ice machine. The only, *only* downside is that the bottom part of the private hot spring's door frame is corroded by water, but it doesn't affect the stay. I hope the hotel gets it fixed soon. After booking, they immediately sent a confirmation and followed up with multiple email reminders and notifications, which was very thoughtful. There's a bus stop right next door. The only other minor inconvenience is that the nearest convenience store is a bit far, but the hotel also has vending machines and a restaurant, so you generally don't need to go to a convenience store. It's well-suited for those traveling by chartered car or in groups. The room is also very spacious. Overall, it was a great experience."

"This was my third stay here. Last time I stayed for about a week, but this time it was just two nights. I appreciate the casual atmosphere more than a luxurious one, which I think is a good thing (even though it's a bit pricey for me). The building, rooms, and location truly offer an experience and an escape that's worth more than the price. My only suggestion for improvement is regarding the restaurant's dinner menu, which only offers wood-fired dishes and French courses. If there were à la carte options or individual dishes, solo travelers like myself could enjoy the food more. The taste was good, though I understand preferences vary. As for service, the plates were cleared a bit too quickly – it felt like they wanted me to leave sooner. While not all foreign staff were problematic, there were times when language barriers made for unpleasant experiences. However, the Japanese staff were consistently wonderful, providing excellent service and kindness. I was particularly impressed by a staff member named Kondo; I'd try to poach them for my own company! Overall, it was another great stay, thank you! And I was pleasantly surprised to see a deer in the backyard, haha."

"The room is spacious as advertised, the hotel is a bit old but overall is still comfortable and relaxing. The in room hot spring is awesome with nice view of the lake. The open air public bath is not very big but it's fine when no crowded. The observatory deck (Take the stairs from 4th floor) is slightly below expectations due to the handprints on the window but it's still a nice place to chill. The food for dinner and breakfast have limited choices but the taste is good. You can have the view of Mt Fuji outside the lounge on a clear sky day. Free shuttle from hotel is available to pick up at Motohakone pier and the bus (Hakone Free Pass) to Hakone Yumoto station is available at the front of the hotel."

"The room was a bit small, making it difficult to fully open two suitcases. However, the hotel's prime location was a big plus; it was easy to find and close to the station, which was convenient for dragging luggage. Breakfast was just okay, with too many cold options – I left feeling disappointed. There were also too few public baths, but the water temperature was good. The front desk even offered Chinese-speaking service. The concierge was proactive in greeting guests."

"A little piece of paradise outside of Tōkyō. Private bath and spa with a unisex infinity pool on the top floor (with bathing suits). So relaxing, lovely staff and good food. Could totally relax."
