GGuest UserI was very impressed with this hotel as I had read some reviews that mentioned it is a little older than the average property but it was sparkling clean with lovely facilities and guest rooms. The location is perfect for visiting the three famous onsen hot springs facilities and the hotel actually provide special clothing to make visiting the onsens easier and more authentic. Parking is available for a fee and there is a small restaurant/bar onsite. This is a ripper of a hotel.

GGuest UserBeing right next to Okaido, it was incredibly convenient to get around Matsuyama. Especially with the rail pass, I could ride the tram for free. I was very satisfied with the hotel, and the room was spacious and comfortable for a solo traveler. Please note that the bathroom and toilet are separate, and the TV is wall-mounted, so no HDMI connection is available.

GGuest UserWe wanted to experience Dogo Onsen and this was a great choice (albeit expensive because it was a holiday weekend). The hotel is lovely and the service is beyond excellent. The staff was super kind as we are English speakers. Plus, we really enjoyed the hotels onsens better than the ones in town (the Dogo Onsen is being renovated and only one room was open for each gender; the same was the case with the Annex). The hotels onsens were lovely and the private outdoor onsen was a really lovely experience. We also took advantage of their convenient bus service into town although it’s only a 10 minute walk and we walked multiple times. Highly recommend!

RR423It was nice that the inside of the building had a white-based atmosphere and was clean. At check-in, I was recommended to take a ticket for a nearby hot spring facility, but I decided to use the bath in the room.
The bathtub was deep and the bathroom itself was able to relax with a size that could not be considered in other hotels.
The room was also large and comfortable!
The wind was strong when checking out, so the front desk was worried about the wind and the response was nice

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is not close to Dogo Onsen street and you will need to drive or get a taxi if you want to go there. There are no restaurants or shops nearby the hotel. There is a walk nearby the hotel you can take which offers nice scenery in the woods. The hotel looks a bit dated particularly the bedrooms and the corridors. I asked for a quiet room facing the mountain instead of one facing a busy road and had to pay an additional 2200 yen. The hotel has a number of onsens and I like the outdoor ones best. The buffet dinner and breakfast offer good selection and I particularly like the dinner which offered nice teppanyaki beef and sushi.
The hotel reception staff spoke very little English and the hotel did not reply to an email I sent them asking for transportation information to get to the hotel.
There are buses near the hotel which go to Matsuyama and Imabari but they run infrequently.

十十一一十This is a hotel near the Daohou Hot Spring. It is a Japanese-style room type. The room is full. If you want to go to the Daohou Hot Spring, it is quite convenient. It is also very close to enjoy the Daohou style at night.

I don't recommend it very much because the road is narrow in the residential area to go by car.
Overall, the lighting is dim, but the price is reasonable, so there may be no way around.
I thought there was a plan to rent a bed in the room at the time of booking and stay.

ササフミBreakfast is separate (there may be plans for busy periods). There are two options available in December 2025, each priced at 800 yen. Advance reservations are required. Breakfast is served on the 7th floor with a great view. There is a slight tram noise in the morning, but it's not too noticeable. For those who like to go back and forth between the hotel and the hotel frequently, you can keep your key until check-out, which is convenient.
The price is just right for those who prefer a small private room over a capsule hotel. The smoking room was cheaper, so I booked that. As a non-smoker, the smell bothered me a little when I first entered the room, but I got used to it after a while.
Since it's a business hotel, the bathroom is small, so if you want a large bath, there's a hot spring nearby, so it's fine. Personally, I preferred this over Dogo Onsen.

There was a direct tram to Dogo Onsen departing at 6:10 AM from the tram station near the hotel, which was perfect for a morning bath.
The room was a bit compact for two people, but spacious enough for just sleeping.
Also, amenities (shampoo, hangers, etc.) were available for loan in the lobby on the first floor, which was very convenient and helpful.
