Hotels near Saigawa Bridge, Kanazawa

The hostel on itself was good, but we had to use many time the dryers because it doesn't dry well. After 2 or 3 times, we gave up and took our laundry back in the room.  There was air-conditioning in the room but you can't select the temperature. It was already hot in the room, so we had to open the windows to have a bit of fresh air.  The car park also is a good option but a bit expensive. 

I had a comfortable stay. I stayed in room 509. The view from the window isn't great because it's in the next building. The amenities are minimal. It's very clean, with a three-piece unit bath. Hair dryer available. Amenities available. Mini coffee maker available. ◎ YouTube and Netflix are available on the TV. Outlets available. USB available. Breakfast is decent, and the coffee machine is decent too. The staff are all very nice. Everyone's smiling. 😄 A famous conveyor-belt sushi restaurant is right in front of me. If you want seafood, skip the market and go to this place, it's my #1 or #2 pick. Also at the intersection is Akadama Honten, a long-established Kanazawa oden restaurant. You need a reservation to get in, so I recommend the smaller restaurant across the street, which has a line-up. But there are plenty of other restaurants nearby, so you won't have any problems. Comfortable stay at a well located hotel in Kanazawa. The rooms were clean and functional, and the overall stay was smooth. The onsen was a nice touch and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. There is also a laundry room available, which was very convenient during the trip. A good option if you are looking for a simple and comfortable base in Kanazawa.

This hotel was the best one throughout our trip. Having visited Kanazawa before, I knew all their hotels are basically on the same street, making the location extremely convenient for attractions and well-situated. So, I didn't choose the usual hotel but picked this one which seemed like a good value for money. And the check-in experience was absolutely perfect. It's been a while since I've experienced Japanese-style service, and their service here was quite good. Although it's not a traditional ryokan 'okami' service (where they unpack your bags), all their staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. The hotel is directly opposite Oyama Shrine, and you can walk through to Gyokusen-en Garden. We spent about 20 minutes exploring it in the morning. However, one thing to note is that linen changes and bathroom cleaning are subject to an additional charge. This might be something to consider for longer stays, but since we were only there for two days, it wasn't an issue. We booked a room with some basic kitchen utensils, so we were able to buy ingredients from the supermarket and make sukiyaki, which helped us balance our diet during the trip. The hotel is also very close to Omicho Market, making it convenient to buy fresh seafood and other groceries. For those on a shorter trip, cooking might not be necessary. Also, the hotel is quite new, and the room wasn't small, so it was very comfortable.

The hotel was perfect; the rooms were spacious, and breakfast was included with check-in. I didn't go downstairs for breakfast until 8:30 am and didn't encounter any crowds. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service to and from Kanazawa Station, which is very convenient. The boarding point at Kanazawa Station is in the group bus area. If you're unsure where to catch the shuttle bus when you first arrive in Kanazawa, you can refer to the location and pick-up times in the pictures.

This was a lovely hotel. The room was spacious to open 2 luggages and was clean. There was a tub in the toilet which was large. The main selling point of this hotel was the amazing breakfast. The buffet spread was abundant and had many options, and the view of the snow out the window as we ate was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. It is also located well near the bus stop that takes you to the main Kanazawa train station.

Service at reception was helpful and pleasant. Room was a little tight. Shower floor and area needed a more thorough clean. TV was in corner on side wall to beds and seating. Only way to watch was sitting on side of bed in tight area in front of bed. Ridiculous. Also no safe in room. Hotel location was excellent.

This place is just a 5-6 minute walk to Kanazawa jr station and the bus terminal. The location is fantastic. There is all the amenities you need like coin laundry, and ice machine. The staff are wonderful and helped me to correctly fill out the forms to mail a package to my teacher staying in japan. This is my second stay with the hotel franchise in kanazawa- i stayed in their other hotel more in the town centre previously. They both smelled amazing. I don’t know what they use, but they have a specific scent that they make for their hotels. Apparently Kanazawa also has a tradition of incense and so they’ve incorporated a signature scent based on it. I wish I could buy it tbh- so Koko staff- if you see this, please make it an item you sell! The rooms are a good size, for Japan, and the bathtub in the room is MASSIVE. Sadly I dont have photos as I forgot to take them. They have a lovely outdoor on the top floor as well, where you can sip a drink and enjoy the view which i do have photos of.

The room was decent, and the dinner was excellent – refined, with a creative touch. The hotel's front desk offered a fun activity where you could make your own eco-friendly sachets. The hotel also boasts a great location, making for a very good overall experience.

Good sized rooms (we had a double and a twin) with all the usual amenities. Very short walk to Kanazawa castle, shopping and more. The best part of the hotel stay, as mentioned by many others, was the hotel’s provision of free snacks and drinks (happy hours included bubbles and wine!!) throughout the day. Would have cost the hotel not very much at all, but was a great perk and appreciated by all guests.
